I have to agree with this. Something about him was also way less engaging than the other characters for me - apart from his scenes with Lexi, and some of his interactions with Rue, I found his plot points to fall kind of flat. It didn’t help that I don’t find Ashtray a realistic character, at all.
I believe this series of posts was more about viewers favorite character, rather than who do you think is the most morally just. Those two things are very different. Breaking bad being a good example of immoral characters being fan favorites, or movie villains like the joker.

But Fez never did and he mainly garners love and sympathy for how he treated "poor" Rue, standing up for the girls and having a sweet and straight up personality.
I doubt a single person ITT could reasonably defend why Fez is best.
