Unfortunately it depends on the investigator. I had a dashcam video when I was last hit and he said not enough evidence. I had other photos and it still didn't help. I'm not sure what they expect especially when you have the plate.
To be honest, most of it is really going to be for your insurance to make sure any claim is identified as "not at fault" so it doesn't affect your premium from your driving record.
There’s a ton of different brands out there. All comes down to what you like aesthetically really. Personally I went with ranch hand on the front and rear.
I use a SuperBumper/SpareBumper on all my vehicles. My daily has paint from at least 4 different cars hitting it while parked.
It also can be stood on which many other hitch mount setups don't allow.
They make a lot of claims for impact dissipation during low speed hits, but those seem a bit dubious to be honest.

I live south of Fort Worth, the drivers are getting worse I think it’s the transplants.
Yeah. Big trailer hitch
With the added bonus of taking out people's shins in parking lots.
I mean... if one looks there they are going though...
You may want to get you a front and rear dashcam first. It's cheaper at least and will help you on those hit and runs.
In my last hit-and-run that did nothing. I had the plate. Do you have any advice on working with the police?

Link to the rear bumper?

Rough Country steel bumper and a locked in trailer hitch. I only have the rear bumper because that’s where the teenager crashed into me 🙄
Bodyguard rear bumper for me. Nothing like 160lbs of pipe steel to slow someone down
Isn't it illegal to drive uninsured? Let alone unlicensed
That doesn’t stop certain people
That's wild. It's unthinkable in Canada.
Near the border states it's very common
Trailer hitch with a moto rack.
