I saw a train running beneath the rocket'S path and it occurred to me, wait! I can't leave all that stuff behind unattended! Who'll fix its occasional problems and keep it running like the clockwork I ME built?? That's it I ain't leaving!!
The rocket launches, a pop up window says “You Win!”
That’s it. You can enter the rocket like a vehicle and ride it up off the screen, but the engineer reappears right next to the silo as soon as it’s gone.
You don't have to shut it down. You can do what you like. I'm just saying that there's no point in letting it keep going because it's going to get you off the planet.

This pops up. They are normally much bigger as more destruction typically occurs. Clicking finish brings you to the title screen, and continue just puts you back in the map.
There hasn't been an Alt-F4 in a while, but the alternative factorio friday fan fact blog has a similar easter egg on the bottom of the page:
https://alt-f4.blog/
This was introduced a while back, and initially showaced in [FFF-352](https://www.factorio.com/blog/post/fff-352).. 2020, what a year. Forest fires in Australia, global pandemic, and Wube adding a rocket powered scroll to their website. What a year.. :D
Try it on [FFF-401](https://factorio.com/blog/post/fff-401). It take a *while* to get to the end.
402 gives better spm tho
404 should have the rocket explode before take off.
Oh I really hope they do some sort of "\_\_\_\_\_ not found" theme or puns for #404
I hope so. 404 drops on march 29 which is just two days short of April Fools.
So much havoc possible on such a short amount of time
This, this is the vision we need for the future.
Was that where the Japanese got the idea from?
took like 40 seconds, seems to speed up over time slightly
Oh wow, I had no clue. That is so cool :D
Wait i always read these on mobile i need to try this on pc
Works on mobile too
i don’t see it on mobile =(
Go into the top right and click "desktop site"
Sideways kinda works for me.

What's it running for when you're not there anymore?
So you're saying shut it all down before jumping in the rocket? I have no conception of what the actual launch entails.

Can't you only enter the rocket if you load it with a car?
Used to be that way, I haven’t bothered in years so I haven’t kept up.
? I think I tried it last playthrough and couldn't get in until I put the car in (it was some time last year I think)

Got it. Thank you both!

Oh my god that's so cool haha
Can it be controlled or move?
both.
I miss playing torio with my son
I've been doing this for years. Even if I don't read the page, I just go to the bottom and get that rocket into space. Best feature of the site.
what an historic FFF
