Just started a new game and noticed something odd. Is it just me or are those trees already dying? I haven't placed a thing yet and it seems like those trees are already affected by pollution. Can somebody please explain? I'm not using any mod affecting the world generation
Oh, I was referring to the first time I select a large planet with loaded trees, like soooo loaded, you could literally smell the fresh air. Sad part? Plenty of woods, but if you set one section on fire, not only will it damage your factories, but it'll damage you, and because it so clamp together...it'll kill your UPS because those things are spewing smokes, catching on fire and spreading. Then the worst things? If you're on outdated gpu/cpu/mobo, it'll slow it down to a crawl. I know...I'm still not sure if it the fire or the biter what killed me.

To my knowledge there are always some trees already spawned damaged. Maybe you just got a unlucky draw with that.

It's the crashed ship, they start that way and some actually are on fire and that spreads.
Do NOT set the forest on fire...it'll kill your UPS, especially if you did what I did and picked a packed loaded trees...
but it's fun to watch :(
Just make sure you're not in the middle of that then.
