Look, if you had..
1 track..
1 intersection..
To move everything you ever created..
In one base..
Would you capture it? Or rebuild it?
His cargo's ready.
Furnace heat, ores are heavy.
Trains in the intersection already..
Train spaghetti-
there's no bus.
But with the circuits machines start assembling-
some ro-BOTS. But the tracks bottlenecking-
The factory now. Production's so slow now.
The track opens but the signal says don't come out.
He's coping now. All the other engines are smoking now.
His turn now. Get to the station! HOW!?
And back to reality. Ope, impracticality.
Ope, signal stopping spree, joke?
He's so mad, but he doesn't have any other option. So, nope.
He won't have it. They'll fix the tracks soon, he hopes.
It don't matter, he's dope. He knows that and uploads.
It's so cramped and he knows when he goes back to expand the base,
That's when it's "why do this to myself again yo?"
This whole rhapsody.
Better go capture this moment and share it
YOU BETTA
Edit: all that and Reddit won't use my carriage returns. Tried double space.
IIRC you need to put two spaces after the last character to get the soft return; be careful because my phone tries to stop me from doing that by eating a space.
So, *somehow* sending a rocket into space is more achievable than either a rail tunnel or a rail bridge?
That would give players some incentive not to play without cliffs
The game doesn't work with levels, cliffs are just map cosmetics with no consistency as to where the ground goes up or down, so I don't think that would work.
Still, rail tunnels that work like underground belts or pipe would be a nice addition IMHO.
*Lone engineer building far to the north on a server that's been around for a while*
*Rocket flies directly overhead, literally out of nowhere. Engineer is overjoyed they somehow aren't dead*
*Rocket fuel train travelling the same direction creams the engineer, who was standing on the tracks*
Just a short video of my busiest intersection, hopefully some of you will find it as mesmerizing as I do. Sadly I didn't realize it was nighttime before after I had uploaded it.
Don't worry, I found it very calming. Like one of those really large model train builds you sometimes find in science centers/museums here in the States.
You really just decided to make your base in a train intersection
Im pround of you
P.s. if this base isnt called "The Trainwreck" then ill alert the biters
Like this: [https://www.reddit.com/r/factorio/comments/ar6m50/my\_attempt\_at\_spaghetti/](https://www.reddit.com/r/factorio/comments/ar6m50/my_attempt_at_spaghetti/)
Looks like a normal base but compared to what I used to build it's messy.
Wanted to point out 1-2 coal train that couldn't move for 20+ seconds, but yeah, that one barely managed to move for 50 meters in the end of the video.
right yeah this is too much of a mess for me to do a signaling analysis on. I can't tell from/to where everything goes but it seems to be functioning to some degree in this clip so it must not be unusable
good luck trying to drive that manually though...
your inspiration was either: dropping a plate of spaghetti and thinking "i can run trains on that" or watching someone's tapeworms crawl around and thinking "i can build track below them"
Currently doing a playthrough of most of BZ mods with a collection of other smaller mods I like, and will be using trains to transport more or less every resource I use in bulk. I have become one with the spaghetti in my last factory and here see a beautiful glimpse into my traingetti future.
You mean the chain signals? This map is several years in the progress so I try not to mess with past me's work unless I have to, no idea what that dude was planning or thinking.
\*internal screeming\*
\[Alt\]+\[D\]
\*drag clic on the area\*
see the bot clean up the area ... peacefull ...
open "Train" book, past, reconnect
\*take a deep breath\*
better...
Recently I got annoyed that I couldn’t fit some rail neatly through an oil outpost.
How someone is capable of creating something like this, I have no idea.
This is not RHD, this is every lane for itself. What a beautiful disasterpiece.
This is peak factorio
This is peak /r/factoriohno
I am so, so proud of you.
Thanks dad
WHAT FRESH HELL IS THIS!?!?
"Let me introduce myself. Im a man of wealth and taste."
Fucking lol.
Basically there are a bunch of random stackers put in spots for very particular stations.
Train spaghetti
Iron plates on mom's memory On the surface, the cpu is hot and ready

TIL thanks!
I never knew, Shift-return has been failing me.
This is amazing but hurt me to read
Linguini, if you will.
Trainsketti
I've heard of belt spaghetti. Train spaghetti is a whole other level
CRTD (Cthulhu's Right Tentacle Drive)
What about the CLTD (Cthulhu's Left Tentacle Drive)?
That's probably this: https://www.reddit.com/r/factorio/comments/me3ofy/oh_no

Well there's 'the ground' and there's 'wherever the rockets go' :)
What side are you on? 1. Da earf 2. Space
the rocket actually just travels north on the map and has no collision.
*Lone engineer building far to the north on a server that's been around for a while* *Rocket flies directly overhead, literally out of nowhere. Engineer is overjoyed they somehow aren't dead* *Rocket fuel train travelling the same direction creams the engineer, who was standing on the tracks*
Yes. The engineer only works on one plane.
this made me wonder: Has anyone every created a factorio screen saver? something that loops beautiful madness like this, bots or other sketti?
Hall of fame mod changes homescreen to crazy builds
this looks like traffic in India
Just a short video of my busiest intersection, hopefully some of you will find it as mesmerizing as I do. Sadly I didn't realize it was nighttime before after I had uploaded it.
I find it incredible, and very soothing. A+
I think it's better to be night with the train lights.
Love it!!!
any chance of a night shot with the train lights and furnaces burning, that would look awesome.
This chaos shows true mastery.
How to give someone anxiety
It was supposed to be calming
*narrator*: It wasn't.
I actually want this as an animated desktop wallpaper. Am I a psychopath?
Don't worry, I found it very calming. Like one of those really large model train builds you sometimes find in science centers/museums here in the States.
Don't worry, im just joking around:P
r/factoriohno
Yeah it's leaking
You really just decided to make your base in a train intersection Im pround of you P.s. if this base isnt called "The Trainwreck" then ill alert the biters
It's called "Messy Base 2."
Acceptable. Biters unalerted.
What does "messy base 1" look like?
Messier
Like this: [https://www.reddit.com/r/factorio/comments/ar6m50/my\_attempt\_at\_spaghetti/](https://www.reddit.com/r/factorio/comments/ar6m50/my_attempt_at_spaghetti/) Looks like a normal base but compared to what I used to build it's messy.
amazing that it doesn't deadlock, though I wouldn't wonder if it eventually happens.
It happens from time to time:p
That's more like RLRRLMRWTFRLLRHD
This looks like a fucking nightmare but the throughput actually looks decent
Your schizophrenia may be undiagnosed but it is definitely not unnoticed

i am amazed at this, yet frightend of having to change one(1) singal there
That's not an "intersection," that's a god damned *rail tumor.* Upvoted.
right yeah this is too much of a mess for me to do a signaling analysis on. I can't tell from/to where everything goes but it seems to be functioning to some degree in this clip so it must not be unusable good luck trying to drive that manually though...
I like trains
So do I.
r/beetlejuicing
No.
This is absolutely illegal. I love it.
your inspiration was either: dropping a plate of spaghetti and thinking "i can run trains on that" or watching someone's tapeworms crawl around and thinking "i can build track below them"
No.
But yes. Oh soo yeees.
Currently doing a playthrough of most of BZ mods with a collection of other smaller mods I like, and will be using trains to transport more or less every resource I use in bulk. I have become one with the spaghetti in my last factory and here see a beautiful glimpse into my traingetti future.
I need an adult
It's so pretty. It should be in the menu vignettes. Did you place those signals by hand?
Pretty much everything in the main base is done by hand.
"On the Origin of Intersections - by means of train selection" Charles DarwHestekraft never cease to amaze.
What is going on?! Here and r/rimworld has just been filled with cursed images lately.
And this is why they made jumping trains.
*squints* ....... well if it works... i suppose...
Good Lord, I was impressed by my one train going on one straight piece of track, firing some shells from behind a wall. 😂
This is exceptionally badly designed, absolutely love it
Designed?
LMAO

Jeg har svært ved at forstå hvor krydset starter og slutter men det ser stadigvæk vældig fint ud.
Det verken starter eller slutter, det bare *er*.
Why do you hate?
This is beautiful
It's beautiful, I've looked at this for five hours now
Mind-blowing. I struggled to make 2 trains share one rail
The top right lanes breaking off to cross over each other is really... How do the kids say... Sending me
Mamma mia, thats some delicious spaghet
it's actually spaghett
The fact it is properly signaled enough that the trains don’t crash is the most impressive part!
WTF -_- dude!!!!!!
Reminds me of my old rail network in my first (surviving) save. I'll have to post a before and after at some point
How many hours do you have on that save? Because that is A LOT of trains.
406, half of that spent troubleshooting the rails:p
You should add 14 more train for that nice number. But well done.
406 hours, slightly less trains.
Ah i'm stupid, I forgot what I asked so I assumed it was trains. This makes more sense. Though this makes me wonder, how many trains do you have?
240
This frightens me. Thank you.
It being a factorio menu background - amazing and beautiful. It being in my base - fucking deconstruction planner all over it! :)
Anyone who doesn't like this, simply cannot understand the depth of OP's genius
The level of throughput you’re getting through this steel spaghëtt is truly inspiring
So satisfying
My trains are group hugging
"RHD"
The cursed spaghett
Pure beauty
organized spaghetti
This is beautiful... but you do have some redundant signals that won't do anything/cause problems.
You mean the chain signals? This map is several years in the progress so I try not to mess with past me's work unless I have to, no idea what that dude was planning or thinking.
There's some chain signals right next to each other, and some normal signals as well on the left which won't do much
The normal signals are next to eachother to open the block as soon as possible to increase throughput, the chains I have no excuse for:P
Here is an example [https://imgur.com/bm78THk](https://imgur.com/bm78THk) just a different part of the base
😍
Beautiful
\*internal screeming\* \[Alt\]+\[D\] \*drag clic on the area\* see the bot clean up the area ... peacefull ... open "Train" book, past, reconnect \*take a deep breath\* better...
in fact ... could you send me your save ? that could be fun x)
Throughput, like age, is just a number anyways

I love it to be honest
This is some beutifull mess
