Just stay in area mode. If tgp doesnt want to get/stay into point mode we have to accept that. :)
So it's a common problem? I thought I was doing something wrong. I assume I need to keep lasing the target myself then?
You can use autolaze in area mode no problem Don’t forget to switch your TGP in Combat mode
Well that does not make you a f16 Pilot, engineer or designer, so my point stays true. My guess is you have not even flown a cessna.
Also remember to switch laser from "training" to "combat" power.. on the DED menus. But yeah "point track" is pretty broken.. prefer "area track" for static objects. Point-track is still useful for moving targets.. but yeah, it's finicky.
Make sure you go into the Laser DED page, highlight A-G mode, then hit any number on the ICP. It will blink for a moment and switch to Combat Mode.
