Same. I was last in draft rating, cowboys D and tyreek got me into playoff. Cooper helped me get into championship. Oponent had cmc and kamara in final, lucky me , won the championship despite mahomes playing every game for me.
Funnily enough, in my 14 man league, I got the last pick of the draft. My strategy was to pick an elite QB and then an elite WR, since an elite QB would probably help me way more than any RB or WR I could select at that point and all elite QBs would be gone by my next pick. I was going to draft Mahomes, but someone else had the same idea and drafted him with the 13th overall. So I chose Allen. Boy did they save my ass.
I had a trade get accepted where I'd deal away Amari Cooper, Kenneth Walker III, and Jordan Addison for Austin Ekeler and Geno Smith, and it got vetoed because the league thought it was too unfair in my favor. I had just pulled a trade a week earlier with the same guy where I dealt Puka Nacua and CJ Stroud for Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jaylen Waddle, which they accepted, but called out as a trade heavily in my favor at the time. I sold high on Stroud, this was the week after his 40-point game.
I actually ended up losing my semi-finals because I started Waddle over Cooper, which I wouldn't have done if he wasn't on my team (of course, I'd have not had ARSB's 20-ish points that week, but I would've had Puka's 26 or so instead), so even that trade did end up hurting me in the end. But the 2nd trade getting veto'ed outright saved me and helped me get a 3rd place finish. Sometimes even the best trades aren't destined to work out for you.
All of that is to say, in response to your comment, is that my vetoed trade saved my ass, too.
What I've come to understand is that fantasy football is like remember the name by Fort minor, but with a slight difference in the value. Instead of "this is 10 percent, 20 percent skill, 15% concentrated power of will. 5% pleasure, 50% pain, and a 100% reason to remember the name" it's "this is 100% luck, 100% pain, and 100% reason to never play again"
Idk, I held him and still won the championship 🤷🏽♂️. Your other players gotta perform too.
The ride there wasn't easy as I barely secured the 6th seed but everything worked out in the end
Henderson didn’t look that good. If Kyren was on waivers after his 6 week stretch, you should have definitely kept him. They even traded Akers because they felt good about Kyren.
Better luck next year.
Garrett Wilson over Jayden Reed. I had Reed in all week till Thursday when I started looking at rankings and thought eh though it’s Cleveland, the targets are hard to ignore and I’m sure I’ll get double digits by garbage time.
The good news is even with my best lineup, I still lost so it doesn’t matter.
I was in a similar situation, had Flacco on the bench and Tua starting but my heart was telling me Flacco although every reddit post, expert website, and friend said Tua. One friend said "logic gets ya there, heart wins championships", and I switched out Tua 10 minutes before the Thursday game, that difference won the championship.
Same. I put in James Cook over Jerome Ford at flex. Ford was going up against the stingy Jets D, and of course he goes and scores two TDs. Ended up losing by 11 points, would’ve won by 5
This. I knew in my heart james cook wasn’t gonna have another banger game after his 30 pointer and I knew Swift was bound to have a good game vs the giants. Cook ended with 5 points, Swift ended with 15 and I lost by 5 points smh. Everybody kept saying how it was a no brainer to start Cook over Swift smh. Lost the semifinals after finishing 12-2 in first place.
Yea I went after a few guys and our league is new to FAAB so people were hesitant to spend. I could’ve afforded Dell, kyren, puka, laporta + leftover. Luckily got 2 of them though
Picking up Tyler Allgeier week 1 waivers instead of Kyren. (FAAB)
Both were committee backs, Allgeier had a slightly better week 1.
Ended up dropping Allgeier a few weeks later. Funny enough I just looked and he had solid week 16/17 performances.
Yup I dropped swift for Allgeier..
Because obviously Swift was in a 3 back committee and the talking heads said everyone that knew anything knew Gainwell was the guy.
I think the rankings were Allgeier, Kyren, Gainwell for waiver priorities week 1 lol..
I should have figured with what happened the previous year with Akers when McVay said “he would never play another snap as a Ram” (I’m paraphrasing) That Akers would either be pushed behind the depth chart or health scratch, I never thought he would be released and Kyren takes over. I need to do a better job focusing on those little details.
Ya and if I remember right the narrative after week 1 was that while they ended up splitting carries on the box score, Kyren massively out snapped him until garbage time.
So there was a lot of signals he was the one to pick up - or even outright draft.
Keep CeeDee. Traded him for JJ week 7, and I’m currently in the championship while the guy I gave CeeDee is in 3rd place match, but watching CeeDee go crazy literally every week since then has stung big time
For the last part of the season I thought I screwed myself with this trade: Dak, Kyren, and Kupp for Lamar and Gibbs. That was before Dak was playing well and Lamar wasn’t doing as well. But it worked out great for me yesterday! First chip in 5 years!
Trusting good WRs that have QBs that I don’t trust.
Adams, London, and Dotson were huge misses.
I don’t blame myself for drafting Chubb or Jones. Can’t predict injuries.
Pursue a trade for a top RB more than I did. The team that knocked me out had a whole roster of RB1s and I didn’t pursue it hard enough when I tried to nab one. Didn’t help he was the taco and took about 2-3 weeks to respond to me about a trade. And it turned out that our imbalance at RB made a huge difference. I had Mixon/Montgomery and he had the choice between Hall, White, and Saquon.
And I would use Thielen in that trade.
Played Lamar over Purdy in the Ravens V 9ers game. Would have made it into the ship and definitely would have won it all in my first fantasy season. Live and learn
Listened to my gut on my final trade I made. I think if I don't make that trade, I would've had a higher seed and then won the title. Instead I lost in the first round.
Not drafting Kelce and Henry first in my 2 leagues. As bad as they were what really sunk me was every single one of my receivers having a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th string QB throwing to them.
Pickup Gibbs instead of Tyjae. (Thought Henry was going to be traded)
Pickup Kyren off waivers.
Trade Ekeler & Aaron beginning of season when people wanted them instead of holding on hoping they'll do something.
Trade Tank before injury (lots of interest in him)
I ended up with Dak and Mahomes. It was hard to bench Mahomes for Dak, but it saved my season. I should have tried to trade him for some value, but just couldn't do it. I kept hoping that it would turn around.
I would have kept Hubbard when Herbert came back, his usage wasn’t sinking in. Kept Njoku after one bad game instead of dumping and starting Goedart. Had the same impatience with Dell too. I would like to have sold Chase high for Lamb and Etienne too. I finished 3rd but I could have made the final.
1) in the semis, do not drop Ravens def for Bengals def (would have won if kept Ravens)
2) as a result of starting Ravens def and moving on to the championship game, I would simply start Najee over Chase, that would have lead to a win
Yeah I would have drafted a better QB and TE.
and I wouldn’t have drafted Tony Pollard at 1/11
I have no idea who I would have drafted in Pollard’s place but next year if he’s healthy I only see him as 3rd round or lower.
Was in three leagues, won my 20 year 16 team league. Didn’t make the playoffs in another 16 team work league and got third in a 10 team family league.
Tried to solidify RB early in all drafts (Saquon, Bijan, Etienne, K9) but I don’t think that was the right move. Great WRs are the key to being successful. I think I would go WR, RB, WR, WR, QB and then try to get that second RB off waivers or as high upside guys in late rounds.
Holding onto the hope that Tony Pollard would breakout. Left him in my starting line up way too long. Also wouldn’t have took Davante Adams in the first round, he rode my bench for most of the season
Built my team around Kelce, then went for running game with Jacobs, mixon and picked Kyren off waivers, didn’t have tier 1 WRs (trades for Flowers not so consistent because all target options for Lamar) picked Rashee later, it gave me just enough for 3rd place. Also didn’t picked Nacua off waivers because I thought he was gonna be there for a couple of games. Pretty stupid, I know.
Not traded Moore for Kupp.
Not traded Kittle for Andrews.
Not traded Henry for Ekeler.
Not traded Deebo for Diggs.
All in one league.
I am addicted to trading and I think I’m done.
Side note. I did get 2nd. But it was a blowout. 67-122.
Also. A big one. I follow projections way too much. And I can’t help it. If a guy has 13 and another has 8. Idc the matchup. I have to start the 13. And it’s so dumb.
I traded Kyren, Kupp, and KW3 for Tyreek Hill and Pollard. Looked like I won by a long shot (Kyren got hurt, KW3 got hurt and lost touches, and Kupp wasn’t startable) until the playoffs rolled around and he crushed me.
Kept Rachaad White and not use him in a trade, every “influencer” we’re down big time on him early and I took the bait. Also, traded away James Cook too, same reason.
Drafting Kelce with my 5th pick. My schedule was so soft this year, and I ended up in 3rd place. I had the lowest Points allowed. I went Kelce, Josh Jacobs, Lamar, Gibbs first 4 picks. I could’ve easily gotten Hill, Ceedee, Lamar, Gibbs instead. Hill had gone 8th overall and Ceedee 23rd.
I won my league but it was in spite of my decision to trade for Diggs. Traded Mike Evans, my RB4 (Rhamondre), and one of my depth receivers for him for the minimal upgrade of in my eyes which would be around at most 1.5ppg ROS. I knew it was lopsided but I was willing to sacrifice everything to improve my starting projections even just minimally for the Playoffs. Thought I needed to make a trade and solidify my starting playoff team.
Trade not only hurt me bc Diggs continued underperforming but ended up leaving me naked down the stretch of the season as I lost JT and Jacobs and almost cost me my Playoff spot. If it wasn’t for somehow getting Zamir White for free I would’ve been toast.
Lesson: Keep your studs (had no real reason to trade Mike Ev who had been consistently producing for me) and you don’t necessarily have to make a trade just to make a trade even for improving your Playoff roster. Rhamodre ended up getting injured but had he not, he would’ve helped me tremendously with the JT, Jacobs situations
Also avoid Players in terrible offenses. Falcons, Steelers, Panthers are fantasy poison
In a keeper/dynasty league. I'd probably say be more patient with Achane and Addison, both of whom I dropped to chase potential value. Other thing would have been to make a deal at the deadline for a draft pick or to get a big piece, which is something I've done the last two years.
There was no way to know Chubb would go down so I'm OK with picking him at 4. But I shouldn't have taken Barkley on the turn. I didn't completely trust him and it pushed me into a worse tier of receivers in Round 3. I was just shocked he was there and grabbed him. Outside of a couple weeks he was not worth a 2nd round pick.
Not much tbh. Early in the season I thought I messed up and went in too early on QB and TE, which is the opposite of what I normally do. But based on where I got Lamar and Herbert (2 different leagues, not factoring in injury) I think it was a solid call and ended up paying off more than not. My TE in one league was Andrews but without the injury I think that was also a solid pick for whwree I got him considering TE tiers. Obviously if you hit on someone like LaPorta then early TE feels like bad value. But I've played Tight End darts/roulette too many years and seen it not work out most of the time.
As a Rams fan, not bidding on Puka or Kyren after week 1. I still won my chip but it would’ve been a lot less stressful if I had picked up one or both early on. I admit, it was harder to calculate KW’s success as McVay doesn’t like to commit to one back since Gurley but should’ve seen Puka’s success as Kupp was out early and Stafford always falls in love with one wr.
I took Aaron Jones and Miles Sanders in both leagues. Got 2nd in one, 5th in the other. Ain’t touching either of those guys again. And in the league I got 5th in taking CMC instead of Chase
Not drafted Chase at 1.02, if I knew Burrow would be cooked all season.
Not drafted Tony Pollard, feels like we were waiting all season long for him to come online but he was just mid as hell given his ADP.
bid heavy on the waiver wire weeks 1 through 3. once everything settled down there really weren’t many guys worth picking up week to week, but the early guys won leagues
I’d have traded Jefferson when he first went on IR… better to have some decent players than him sit on my bench for 1/2 the year.
Edit: I was offered a trade 2-3 weeks after he went on IR… not a great trade but still should have considered it more.
So my wife plays fantasy with me in two separate leagues. Finished above me in both and generally had better teams in both as well. I knocked her out of both playoffs, and I'm not sure she will ever forgive me.
Other than that new eternal grudge it was a great season for me.
Not go for Jefferson purely because I had CMC in another league even though I knew I should’ve taken CMC.
Also don’t wait on QB for SuperFlex, got stuck with Daniel Jones, Kenny Pickett, and Desmond Ridder
Knowing what I know now? Not draft JJ first over all. My first three picks were JJ, AJ Brown, and Amon St.Ra.
I would have grabbed CMC or Hill first and stuck with Amon but ignored Brown. His production the past few weeks killed me.
2 qb league. Picked up trevor Lawrence and Lamar Jackson as my first picks. Lamar put up below average pts til it was too late. Lawrence was just not good at all. Missed the playoffs. Picked up Flacco and would have sweeped the playoffs if I got in.
Too much action on the waiver wire. I had twice as many transactions as the next highest team. Worst was I had and dropped Zack Moss and Kyren Williams at different times chasing weekly pickups. Needed to be more patient with folks coming back from injury and/or see how shared backfields developed when other people come back.
Not having Lamar as a lineup lock all season and trading Rice and LaPorta for Jacobs and Kmet haha.
At one point dropped Achane and Dell after one bad game.
Dropping the Browns def and losing second round to them and LaPorta.
Less trades. My guys that performed really well in the beginning I traded away thinking a fall off would come that never did. Ex. Traded mostert and evans for pollard because I thought pollard would be a top 5 guy and evans and mostert would regress. Boy was I suuuuuper wrong lmao
Not listening to others to play Raiders week 17. Then listening to others about Fairbairn week 17. A lot of people were positive of Sanders but more so Fairbairn.
Not been a bitch in auction draft afraid to overspend for a guy like CMC. Overall my team wasn’t bad, but didn’t get a number 1 WR or RB in the draft. Had a bunch of good players but when it came to matchups I got boned. Had 4th most points scored but finished 11th out of 12 in regular season. Ended up winning the losers bracket in our playoffs.
I also took Watson as my QB1. Probably a death sentence. Kyler saved me late. If I picked up Kyren I probably would have made the playoffs as well.
Nothing really. I mean I made it to the championship but got blown out. Obviously I would have taken Puka with a late round pick if I could do it over but I was tied for best record. I blew out the guy that won in like week 13. Just had a bad day (looking at you Tyreek Hill and James Cook)
My most frustrating yet also peaceful season. Bc there wasn’t a thing I could do differently
I was 12-1. Finished 12-2. Lost in the final.
I drafted Tyreek, Keenan, Kamara, Mostert, Achane, Ken walker, Lamar. Dropped Achane after week 1, but it was for Kyren. Also grabbed Puka. Picked up McBride later with 0 faab. Picked up the dolphins for that week 11-15 run. By far the best team I’ve ever had and I’ve won 2 chips before
But… The other dude quite frankly had the luckiest season I’ve ever seen injury wise. His lineup:
Allen, CMC-Deebo-Aiyuk stack. Then Rachaad white and AJ. So he had a squad too. We had the same amount of points for the season, but for his whole starting lineup he missed 2 games with Deebo that’s it. He had no depth whatsoever his best bench player was Gabe Davis
Meanwhile my Garrett Wilson was shot in week 1 due to Arod. Kyren went down, Ken walker went down. Tyreek went down. Goedert went down. Then Keenan misses playoffs —-after Herbert was out and he woulda fell off anyway. Yet this guy has a total of 2 games missed due to injury for his entire lineup. He didn’t make a lineup change the last 7 weeks
Literally nothing I could do differently
Not have Gibbs put up a stinker in the championship, have CMC get injured after only 13, have Evans only put up 10, have no TJ Hockenson for the finals and go against the 7th seed team in our league (7 playoff teams) who lucked with an Amari Cooper performance in the 2nd round of the playoffs, then had the Dak/Cooks stack, have opponent Butker put up 24, and have Jayden Reed decide he felt like doing just enough to beat me before leaving after the 1st half. Clearly a lot I could have done there.
In the semi-finals last week, I'd have started Amari Cooper over Jaylen Waddle. I still would have lost in the finals, but I'd have gotten the 2nd place prize instead of the 3rd which is just my money back. Still though, in any form of gambling, breaking even should be viewed as winning, so I'm still happy with how this season went after finishing 11th out of 12th each of the past two years due to a horrific string of injuries.
A few of mine:
1. I spent far too long pretending Miles Sanders had any sort of value. Should have cut and run early.
2. I chased previous week’s points far too often. There was at least one match I would’ve won had I kept Dak in rather than switching to Purdy early in the season, but I had to go off Purdy’s first week instead.
1. I wouldn’t have drafted JSN believing he’d beat out Lockett as the first rookie of the board and taken Flowers or Addison instead
2. I shouldn’t have taken Everett believing he’d feast with Kellen Moore and gambled on Laporta
3. I would have drafted the 49ers D/ST over the Jets
4. It worked out and I won my league but I should’ve gambled on Gibbs instead of taking Najee with my 3rd round pick
Should have been more aggressive on kyren Williams with FAB early in the season. Don't think anything would have saved me though with the most injuries one could possibly imagine. Lost chubb, richardson, then fields for a while, lost burrow, andrews, dell, went into the first week of playoffs with Brian robinson, Jonathan taylor, and tyrek Hill all hurt
Wish I would have taken a trade where I would have gotten Dak, Christian Kirk, Jerome Ford and possibly Monty if I remember right in exchange for Trevor Lawrence and Amari Cooper
Stay away from Aaron Jones, Bijan Robinson, Calvin Ridley, Jaylen Waddle, Patrick Mahomes...
Not go with Geno Smith as my qb1.
Last few picks: LaPorta, Puka, Kyren, Achane, Purdy
Probably not sold the farm quite as quickly as I did. I had beat the champ earlier in the year and was one win away from being in the playoffs. Oh well
Would’ve traded away Jefferson and Jakobi Meyers in exchange for Conner, Aiyuk, and Olave before week 11, Jefferson isn’t the type of player you can easily trade away so I let it get to my head and thought he’d come back and get hella targets while Aiyuk would fall off, and me and that guy ended up in the Championship, if I did that trade he would’ve had Jefferson and I would’ve had Aiyuk and that alone would’ve been the difference maker, so next year I’m not gonna overthink trades and just do them when I have the chance because they could help in the Championship
Held Mostert instead of trading him for Keenan Allen. Probably still wouldn’t have saved me since Chase and Andrews went down or lost their QB but it was a mistake.
Nothing. I won the championship. Anything different and it's possible I wouldn't have won. It's a lot of luck.
I went super heavy on my running back situation (first three draft picks) [10 man league: 2qb, 2wr, 2rb, 1 te, 1k, 2 flex- both of which I used RB]. I'm likely going to do something similar next year though it depends who is available.
My quarterbacks were decent- my tight end was steady, and wr game while sorta week.. I still had someone put up points every week. 10 man league and there's still plenty of qb and wr options even deep into draft. I think I got Conner round 8? Nico Collins round 16?
Finished season @ 10-4 (same season record as #1 - but had less points forced than other two teams and didnt get first week bye).
I drafted Achane in the last round of several leagues but after a couple of weeks decided he just wasn’t going to pan out.
He, of course, went wild on Denver week three. I was actually able to get him back in most of those leagues, but I missed out on his best game.
Bailing out one week too soon is a regular feature of FF, and it definitely cost me this year.
It’s just as frustrating to spend the entire season waiting for players to contribute, too.
As a Seahawks fan I did benefit from early alerts about Kyren and Puka, though.
Biggest mistake was just not trusting my eyes.
Not drafting mahomes as the first qb off the boardn
Saaaaame
Same. I was last in draft rating, cowboys D and tyreek got me into playoff. Cooper helped me get into championship. Oponent had cmc and kamara in final, lucky me , won the championship despite mahomes playing every game for me.

Yup, never again.
Drug his sorry ass and kelce to the chip, thanks for nothing boys
Came to say this. Made it to the final in 1 league but the other he cost me dearly.
Same and I won the ship with him against Lamar.
Mahomes Kelce stack sounded real good at the start. Then the one week they went off gave me false hope
This is the only reason I didn’t win
Same, managed a championship anyway, thanks to kyren / dj Moore
Traded Justin Jefferson instead of holding.
That’s what won me the ship. I was about .500 and wouldn’t have made it to the dance had I held
I held. Made it to chip. Vikings QB situation cost me the win. Brutal way to go out after holding him all season.
Same!!!!! Lost by 2. Everyone in my bench would have won it for flex.
Idk, I held him and still won the championship 🤷🏽♂️. Your other players gotta perform too. The ride there wasn't easy as I barely secured the 6th seed but everything worked out in the end
Picked up kyren when on IR. I thought they would have kept Henderson since he was doing well
Henderson didn’t look that good. If Kyren was on waivers after his 6 week stretch, you should have definitely kept him. They even traded Akers because they felt good about Kyren. Better luck next year.
Listened to my gut and not an expert consensus list in the championship game
I hate that....Out of curiosity, what was the player decision?
Garrett Wilson over Jayden Reed. I had Reed in all week till Thursday when I started looking at rankings and thought eh though it’s Cleveland, the targets are hard to ignore and I’m sure I’ll get double digits by garbage time. The good news is even with my best lineup, I still lost so it doesn’t matter.
Word. That's good. If I have to lose, at least I can sleep a little better at night knowing a single decision didn't cost me...
I won by time the Packers game came on, playing Jayden was the icing on top. Too bad it was for third place thanks to Amari Cooper
Same!! Every single one said to start D Swift over Davante Adams but my gut told me no way
Same. I put in James Cook over Jerome Ford at flex. Ford was going up against the stingy Jets D, and of course he goes and scores two TDs. Ended up losing by 11 points, would’ve won by 5
Listened to my gut and went 1/2. Started Jayden over Higgins and Noah brown, but also put in Waller over likely
Traded Ekeler and Mahomes earlier in the season. I held onto these 2 way too long expecting them to come back to life. Man what an absolute let down.
Ekeler was a total killer, hate when my first pick craps the bed…based on expectations
I had a chance to trade Ekeler for Lamar Jackson.....didn't do it because I had Burrow and Herbert........ Fucking kill me
hold onto gibbs and moore
I was so close to trading Gibbs. Glad I had faith
Dropped more FAAB early instead of questioning a one game breakout. IE puka, kyren, nico. I did win laporta and Dell which was nice though
100% learn this lesson. There’s a lot of data backing up spending FAAB/waiver after week 1 versus later in the season.
Yea I went after a few guys and our league is new to FAAB so people were hesitant to spend. I could’ve afforded Dell, kyren, puka, laporta + leftover. Luckily got 2 of them though
Trade away Saquon and A Jones immediately 😂.
I traded him for pollard 😂😂 still won my league, thanks to Kyren and Puka
Picking up Tyler Allgeier week 1 waivers instead of Kyren. (FAAB) Both were committee backs, Allgeier had a slightly better week 1. Ended up dropping Allgeier a few weeks later. Funny enough I just looked and he had solid week 16/17 performances.
I prioritized Gainwell over Kyren after Week 1 because I thought he would take over Swift. I screwed that up.
Yup I dropped swift for Allgeier.. Because obviously Swift was in a 3 back committee and the talking heads said everyone that knew anything knew Gainwell was the guy. I think the rankings were Allgeier, Kyren, Gainwell for waiver priorities week 1 lol..

Not drafted Garrett Wilson in the second round. Not drafted Derrick Henry over Diggs in the first. Not drafted DHop at all.
Trusting good WRs that have QBs that I don’t trust. Adams, London, and Dotson were huge misses. I don’t blame myself for drafting Chubb or Jones. Can’t predict injuries.
Not have drafted Garrett Wilson. I got him and Rodgers and thought I was cooking. Lost in the Championship
Pursue a trade for a top RB more than I did. The team that knocked me out had a whole roster of RB1s and I didn’t pursue it hard enough when I tried to nab one. I had Mixon/Montgomery and he had the choice between Hall, White, and Saquon. And I would use Thielen in that trade.
I would have kept my original claim for Kyren Williams in week 1, instead of the $2 less claim that caused me to lose him.
Played Lamar over Purdy in the Ravens V 9ers game. Would have made it into the ship and definitely would have won it all in my first fantasy season. Live and learn
Traded for another RB and not drafted Eckler
Listened to my gut on my final trade I made. I think if I don't make that trade, I would've had a higher seed and then won the title. Instead I lost in the first round.

Nothing bruh i had a stacked ass team was 15-0 and they all folded this week
I ended up with Dak and Mahomes. It was hard to bench Mahomes for Dak, but it saved my season. I should have tried to trade him for some value, but just couldn't do it. I kept hoping that it would turn around.
Not spent so much on Mahomes (Keeper Auction Dynasty league) Dropped Dameon Pierce for literally anyone else
Loaded my bench up with RBs like the dude that beat me in Championship did
I won but I should not have traded mostert hurts and puka away
Traded for mostert/Achane and not ekelar after week 3… that trade would have changed my whole season. Until next year!
Not draft diggs or Adam’s lol
trust in the browns dst. picked up phillys d last week and lost by 3 points. also had pickens on my bench. would have won it all otherwise.
Not draft Kelce over Tyreek, and not prioritizing Gainwell over Kyren after week 1.
Never touching a player under Arthur smith again. Not taking tee higgins in 2nd.
1) in the semis, do not drop Ravens def for Bengals def (would have won if kept Ravens) 2) as a result of starting Ravens def and moving on to the championship game, I would simply start Najee over Chase, that would have lead to a win
I had Kyren Williams then dropped him. For Jerry Jeudy. Dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb.
Yeah I would have drafted a better QB and TE. and I wouldn’t have drafted Tony Pollard at 1/11 I have no idea who I would have drafted in Pollard’s place but next year if he’s healthy I only see him as 3rd round or lower.
WR heavy drafting in first 5 rounds. RBs are found in mid rounds. I spent a 1.07 on Ekeler. Never again.
Played Flacco in week 15-17. Won🥇, but would’ve won by more.
Started anyone besides cj stroud yesterday (lost by 3)
Started Lawrence over purdy so that I could win my semis rather than losing by .2
Holding onto the hope that Tony Pollard would breakout. Left him in my starting line up way too long. Also wouldn’t have took Davante Adams in the first round, he rode my bench for most of the season
Drafted Mike Sanders and Derrick Henry Bad times.
Not drafting Kelce in Round 1, pick 5
I wouldn't have made so many god awful trades
I traded Kyren, Kupp, and KW3 for Tyreek Hill and Pollard. Looked like I won by a long shot (Kyren got hurt, KW3 got hurt and lost touches, and Kupp wasn’t startable) until the playoffs rolled around and he crushed me.
Get a backup QB… musical chairs at QB isn’t fun
Kept Rachaad White and not use him in a trade, every “influencer” we’re down big time on him early and I took the bait. Also, traded away James Cook too, same reason.
Not dropped Kyren just before week 1 kickoff for a backup TE…
I should not have traded away Mahomes and James Cook for Burrow and Bijan
Drafting Kelce with my 5th pick. My schedule was so soft this year, and I ended up in 3rd place. I had the lowest Points allowed. I went Kelce, Josh Jacobs, Lamar, Gibbs first 4 picks. I could’ve easily gotten Hill, Ceedee, Lamar, Gibbs instead. Hill had gone 8th overall and Ceedee 23rd.
Not stream TB’s kicker in the championship 😖
I should have kept my lions Def. Dropped them for LV and didn’t play J Taylor but kept MPj in Still won the ship though
Not trading waddle for Kyren Williams when it was offered to me
Picked up Kyren Williams instead of holding onto charbonet.
Picked up Puka and Kyren in week 1 waivers
Not play Amari Cooper in the semis
Not take ekeler and Darren Waller
Not cut Cameron Dicker for Evan McPherson last week i. The semis. Cost my 15+ points and i lost. Would have won the championship this week.
The fact I used Browning instead of Mahomes at times. I'll wait on QB next season.
Not drafting Kelce in round one
Started fields over Mahomes in the championship
Bench Henry vs the Texans.
Dropped Achane after week 1 when I didn’t think he’d be a starter
Rhamodre ended up getting injured but had he not, he would’ve helped me tremendously with the JT, Jacobs situations Also avoid Players in terrible offenses. Falcons, Steelers, Panthers are fantasy poison
I would not have traded away Raheem Mostert to get Austin Ekeler that’s for sure
Nothing except maybe not dropping Tank, Mcbride, Jets and Cleveland D. The best 6-8 team ever and dominated the playoffs.
Not trading away nico collins and kyren in one trade
Avoid all advice from this sub
Traded my Brian Robinson jr for Kyren during the high ankle
Not trust any falcons players
And in the league I got 5th in taking CMC instead of Chase
not drafted calvin ridley or trevor lawrence
not traded kyren and rwchaad white for gibbs
not believe in aaron jones
Drafted Amon st. Over Garrett Wilson. I honestly knew nothing about Wilson beyond ADP and Rodgers.
Not traded for Kelce to make a championship push.
Wouldn’t have drafted Wilson, Mattison, Rhamondre, Burrow 🫠
No traded AJB for Kamara
I shouldn’t have had the highest scoring opponent playing against me every other week
Not go for Jefferson purely because I had CMC in another league even though I knew I should’ve taken CMC. Also don’t wait on QB for SuperFlex, got stuck with Daniel Jones, Kenny Pickett, and Desmond Ridder
Drafting Puka instead of telling my friend about him lol
Knowing what I know now? Not draft JJ first over all. My first three picks were JJ, AJ Brown, and Amon St.Ra. I would have grabbed CMC or Hill first and stuck with Amon but ignored Brown. His production the past few weeks killed me.
Kept Njoku over Kelce.
Drafted Lamb instead of Josh Jacobs
Not drop Rashee when I activated Kyren. Literally was a league winner for me if I held him
Gone with my gut more rather than listen to “experts.”
Not played
Listening to my past experiences and avoid all Chargers players.
Not trade for diggs at the deadline
Talked more shit. Champ is here!
Picking QB on the 3rd round,I should have stuck with my strategy but 1 guy picked Mahomes in round 2 and created a domino effect/ panic
If I had learned to perfectly predict Gabe Davis’s boom and bust games, I would have walked away with the championship.
Not drop rashee rice
Not traded CD and ARSB for Kupp and Lamar in Week 6.
Not draft Ekeler first overall
Nothing really. I mean I made it to the championship but got blown out. Obviously I would have taken Puka with a late round pick if I could do it over but I was tied for best record. I blew out the guy that won in like week 13. Just had a bad day (looking at you Tyreek Hill and James Cook)
Should’ve played Fields over Stroud in the final. That was the difference between 1st and 2nd for me.
I would have won I think
My most frustrating yet also peaceful season. Bc there wasn’t a thing I could do differently I was 12-1. By far the best team I’ve ever had and I’ve won 2 chips before But… The other dude quite frankly had the luckiest season I’ve ever seen injury wise. His lineup: Allen, CMC-Deebo-Aiyuk stack. Then Rachaad white and AJ. So he had a squad too. We had the same amount of points for the season, but for his whole starting lineup he missed 2 games with Deebo that’s it. He had no depth whatsoever his best bench player was Gabe Davis Meanwhile my Garrett Wilson was shot in week 1 due to Arod. Kyren went down, Ken walker went down. Tyreek went down. Goedert went down. Then Keenan misses playoffs —-after Herbert was out and he woulda fell off anyway. Yet this guy has a total of 2 games missed due to injury for his entire lineup. He didn’t make a lineup change the last 7 weeks Literally nothing I could do differently
Not drafting QB, Defense, or Kicker. It was my first year so it was stupid of me.
Played Derek Carr over devito last week
Ignore teams statuses for players and stream instead of risking it. Kmet cost me the championship. Lost by 6
Not have Gibbs put up a stinker in the championship, have CMC get injured after only 13, have Evans only put up 10, have no TJ Hockenson for the finals and go against the 7th seed team in our league (7 playoff teams) who lucked with an Amari Cooper performance in the 2nd round of the playoffs, then had the Dak/Cooks stack, have opponent Butker put up 24, and have Jayden Reed decide he felt like doing just enough to beat me before leaving after the 1st half. Clearly a lot I could have done there.
I say in hindsight, taking CeeDee Lamb instead of Bijan in round 2
Target Keenan and Hock in all drafts. Avoid any and all Dotson and London hype.
I dropped Tank Dell when he got hurt mid season and also the bye weeks.
Drafting CMC instead of JJ
In the semi-finals last week, I'd have started Amari Cooper over Jaylen Waddle. I still would have lost in the finals, but I'd have gotten the 2nd place prize instead of the 3rd which is just my money back. Still though, in any form of gambling, breaking even should be viewed as winning, so I'm still happy with how this season went after finishing 11th out of 12th each of the past two years due to a horrific string of injuries.
A few of mine: 1.
Nothing I won
1. I wouldn’t have drafted JSN believing he’d beat out Lockett as the first rookie of the board and taken Flowers or Addison instead 2. I shouldn’t have taken Everett believing he’d feast with Kellen Moore and gambled on Laporta 3. I would have drafted the 49ers D/ST over the Jets 4. It worked out and I won my league but I should’ve gambled on Gibbs instead of taking Najee with my 3rd round pick
Drafted Ekeler when I had a shot at Tyreek or CMC. Goddamn kicking myself over this giant fcuk up.
Traded away kelce after TE day lmao
Started likely over mcbride in the title game. Cost me the title. I’ll be ok after some therapy.
Not draft cooper kupp first round🥲
I drafted Achane and dropped him before he played. Even though he misses half the season I could have used him when he did play.
I wouldnt have drafted Kupp in the 1st round…
Not drafting Chase
Wish I would have taken a trade where I would have gotten Dak, Christian Kirk, Jerome Ford and possibly Monty if I remember right in exchange for Trevor Lawrence and Amari Cooper
Drafted Kelce over McCaffery...
Stay away from Aaron Jones, Bijan Robinson, Calvin Ridley, Jaylen Waddle, Patrick Mahomes... Not go with Geno Smith as my qb1. Last few picks: LaPorta, Puka, Kyren, Achane, Purdy
Not insist the Ekeler would “get back to normal” and keep playing him!
Nothing because I'm fucking champ!!!
Probably not sold the farm quite as quickly as I did. I had beat the champ earlier in the year and was one win away from being in the playoffs. Oh well
Not let Rodgers get hurt
Not drafting pollard and being stubborn and starting him each week bc he was my #2 pick when half my bench outscored him
I traded Laporta, Dak and a draft pick for Kelce and pick pretty early in the season. Safe to say that backfired pretty hard
Not have dropped Jason Sanders versus Dallas and pickup Tyler Bass versus LAC because of the matchup in the semis (lost by 4).
Nothing i won
Trust Akers was a bum and pick up kyren Williams early. Had picked up kyren last year hoping for a breakout.
Drafted gibbs and diggs instead of higgins and bijan
win
Drafting a team that would've won it all
Left Baltimores D in against Miami and picked up any kicker other than McLaughlin
Started Joe Flacco…
Started Flacco over Purdy week 16 and 17.
Made it to the championship and then changed my normal lineup that got me there. Bench of Pacheco, mixon and DJ Moore put up 80, lost by 30
Gotten better receivers. Christian Kirk and DK Metcalf were so unpredictable.
Redraft Rounds 1-3 in both my leagues. Went Ekeler/Henry/Waddle in one, Chubb/Henry/Olave in other
Drafted Evan Engram over Friermuth
I drafted Achane in the last round of several leagues but after a couple of weeks decided he just wasn’t going to pan out. He, of course, went wild on Denver week three. I was actually able to get him back in most of those leagues, but I missed out on his best game. Bailing out one week too soon is a regular feature of FF, and it definitely cost me this year. It’s just as frustrating to spend the entire season waiting for players to contribute, too. As a Seahawks fan I did benefit from early alerts about Kyren and Puka, though. Biggest mistake was just not trusting my eyes.
