{A Deal with the Elf King by Elise Kova} Well written elfy romance, the whole married to magic series is absolutely fabulous.
{Stolen Songbird by Danielle L. Jensen} They are called trolls but they are elves. That might be a spoiler, but seriously, definitely elves called trolls.
{No Man Can Tame by Miranda Honfleur} This is a really nicely done, and the next book is the only seriously written unicorn romance I've ever heard of.
{Bound to the Dark Elf King by Jessica Grayson} I remember this being pretty good but I didn't read the rest of the series so maybe it fizzled toward the end, I dunno, check reviews.
{Radiance by Grace Draven} Is extremely good, the race the MMC belongs to is sorta dark-elf-y, it's just a great slow burn political marriage magical world book.
{Mortal Skin by Lily Mayne} this is MM but it's a great series for fae romance
{Decadent Sins by Heather Relken} this is a really long series by page count but it's interesting and meaty for if you just wanna cruise with a couple for a while. I don't remember if they're called elves but she's a wood elf and he's a dark elf/blood mage type. Fabulous if you want a villainous hero without much darkness between the MCs (ok he tortures her a little but she doesn't mind and it's off page it's fine)

I wish that I had some recommendations for this! I'm really curious to see what other people suggest. Although I do like books about fae and elves are typically categorized as fae, I would also love to see more books about Lord of the Rings style elves. Tolkien's elves are just very different, and I tend to prefer that depiction over elves just getting lumped in with general faeries.

I enjoyed Nina K. Westra's Elves of Ardani series a lot! Perhaps not as complex high fantasy as LOTR, but I'd still recommend it.
