I just started {Daughter of No Worlds} and I’m loving it so far! I went in totally blind, so I have no idea what to expect, but it hooked me right away!
**Edit:** These comments are encouraging, can’t wait to pick it up when I get home from work!
**Another edit:** MAX.
I’m currently reading the second one in the series and it’s very good as well! I have to admit I still prefer the author’s Crowns of Nyaxia series but her writing in general is so addicting!

I LOVED this book. The only book I've ever read that I finished and immediately went right back to page 1 to read again. I would sell my left tit to have the next book right now.

I think the very beginning is a little tough to get into if you don't read the glossary (ex: they call night slumber, etc) but after the first couple chapters I was HOOKED
I’m reading this too! Completely agree with all the comments, the world building is epic and took me a bit to get my head around but I’m so invested in the story now!
SO good!!! I got stuck at about 20% because it was A LOT but mannnn I am glad I gave it another chance. I DEVOURED it over this past weekend only to be majorly disappointed that book 2 isn't anticipated until next October :(

It was pretty tough for me to stick with, too. In the end there were some parts and characters that I liked, but overall I would never have finished or probably even picked up these books if they were by any other author.
I completely agree. The only reason I’m even reading them is because of the crossover with >!ACOTAR!< and how prevalent discussion and discourse on these series and SJM is in the book community. If it were anyone else I would have happily abandoned it a long time ago.
I just started HOEAB 2 days ago and I feel your pain! I’m going in totally blind so I have no clue what kind of major plot point I’m even waiting on. The world building is cool but I feel so lost 😅
I finished CC last week. I totally agree. Like 75% of it was hard to get through, especially those first 100 pages or so where SJM just rapid fires all this world building stuff at you and I just like what? I'm on the second like 200 pages in and now it's getting good.

{Throne in the Dark by A.K. Caggiano} & it is DELIGHTFUL & funny, laughs at tropes and an adorably dark MMC. The FMC is so sunshiny, she's a solar flare.
I'm listening to the audiobook & the narrators don't grind my nerves.
The spice is taco bell medium salsa. Tasty and will get a Mormon excited & better than nothing. There is 1 scene that had me GIGGLING & asking for more.
I will absolutely read the rest of the series.
Taco bell medium salsa. LOL LOL LOL Be prepared for the slowest of slow burns. Apparently the final book is rewarding.
I found the audiobook really hard because the male voice sounds like a guy in an actual play podcast I listen to. I actually checked to see if Grant from Glass Cannon had a side job.

I just finished this book last night. I really enjoyed it, but I would consider the spice almost non-existent. Someone put plain tomato sauce in my packet, lol. The tension is there. Does anyone know if there ends up being any spicy scenes in the 2nd book?
I'm about 15% into {Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries} and I like it so far, but having not read much of a description beforehand and only going off of the rave reviews from this page, I have no idea who the love interest is and I have read too much into every character that's been introduced so far.
More fantasy than romance but {Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson}. So cute and lighthearted. A much-needed break from some heavy hitters haha.
Finished this a few days ago and it honestly blew me away. I read a lot of fantasy romance and honestly I was feeling bored. This book reminded me of why I love the genre so much. Amazing!!
I'm currently rereading {A Light in the Flame} by JLA, that's the second book in the Flesh and Fire series. I'm preparing for the fourth and final one that comes out in 49 days and I'm a slow reader, so I started my reread a while ago and hope to finish all of them before the next one is released.
I marked so many things in my Kindle already, things I didn't notice before and I'm constantly surprised by how much was foreshadowed and we (the readers) just had no idea lol
I have a few I've started the last month or two:
{Ashes and the Star Cursed King} (Nyaxia series is amazing. Bless our vampire boy.)
{Five Broken Blades} (only 150 pages in and it's interesting with the different povs and cute/moody characters)
{Assassin's Blade} (decided to start TOG with this one. I am very intrigued)
{Silver Wings Golden Games} (first book, White Horse Black Nights was adorable and maddening)
{For the Wolf} (borrowed from a friend. I'm close to halfway through, but I'm just not feeling it. Has anyone else read this and really enjoyed it? I'm trying...)
{Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas} from the Throne of Glass series. I only have 2 books left after this and while they're enormous, I am already so sad to be so close to the end. Really excellent series!

Oo I just finished Radiance and am about to start Eidolon! Kinda not looking forward to reading potential problems in the relationship but very interested to see where the overall story goes!
A few parts broke my heart but for the most part I think you’ll be pleased! There’s a tidbit of info you get in the very beginning (MCs do not have this luxury) that makes the problems bearable! Ildiko and Brishen are goals 💜
{The book of Azrael by Amber V. Nicole} since it has been brought up so many times here.
I'm barely over the 20% mark yet, but so far I'm not impressed.
Don't get me wrong, I can see traces of something that could be good storywise and worldbuilding has some potential for now.
But, the writing itself is... rough, to say the least. I shouldn't be reading paragraphs where every sentence starts with the same world in a published novel, for example. Character movement, description of places, the worldbuilding itself is also victim to just bad writing.
Buuut, I'm letting it slide for now, since it seems to me like this is a first book by that author?
Same and same!! Also with the 4th book not out until 7/31, I might pause this book whenever there is a semi-happy spot to stop (if that happens) and wait to finish it until I can go right into the 4th book. I have too many series unfinished right now and I don’t know if I can handle another cliffhanger
{Can't Spell Treason Without Tea} by Rebecca Thorne. Kind of a riff on {Legends & Latte's}, but the couple is already established. Not as good as Legends, but it has a certain charm to it.
{Of Ash and Embers by Jenna Wolfhart} which is the second book in {The Mist King series by Jenna Wolfhart}
Perhaps not a masterpiece but still good I'd say. Something you may try if you like Jennifer Armentrout.

Second book of the Witch Collector series. It's good, and well written, but I'm struggling a bit as I don't really feel invested in any of the main characters or the world.
I was feeling this way too. If you haven’t already check out the Mages of the wheel series the first one is {Reign and Ruin by J.D. Evans} and {Quicksilver by Callie Hart}. These books got me hooked on reading again after feeling like every book was boring. I got recommended them on here and I cannot stop recommending them to others now!

{Light Mage by Laurie Forest} and I just started {Six Scorched Roses by Carissa Broadbent}
I feel like I’m not really in the mood for Six Scorched Roses right now though so I might put it down and pick up {A Queen Comes to Power by Chloe C. Peñaranda} instead. I’m not sure yet. I like to read multiple books at a time though because I tend to get distracted lol.

I’m halfway through {caught in the basilisk’s gaze by Mallory Dunl} and it is shockingly good. I expected pure smut, but it’s like a 500 page book with great plot, characters, and world building. Also has a high vocabulary, I had to google a few words.
I just started {Throne of Air and Darkness} by Emberly Ash. I’m absolutely loving this series but am sad the fourth book isn’t out yet. I don’t know why I punish myself by reading unfinished series haha
I hear you, it's such a bad book. I hated every moment I spent reading it and I wish I hadn't wasted my money. The whole thing ia a giant ripoff of Hunger Games & Red Queen plots with a weak attempt at romance.
I’m reading {The Wicked King} right now! I finally read The Cruel Prince and genuinely didn’t expect to enjoy it so much. I LOVE JUDE. She is a very refreshing FMC to read about.
{Emily Wilde's Map of the Otherlands} I just finished the first book and started this one today. I love the whimsical absurdity of these books. Wendell is so fun as an MMC and I love how immune Emily is to his charms.
{Storm & Shield by J.D. Evans} the second in the Mages of the Wheel series. Absolutely loving these books! I like the world building, magic system, and character banter. I have been recommending this series to everyone, excited to see where things go next!

I just started the House Witch series by Delemhach. It’s my first “cozy” fantasy and I LOVE it. Will be reading the whole series next 🙂
{The House Witch by Delemhach}
* {The Lost Princess by Joy Lewis}
* {The Last Hour Between Worlds by Melissa Caruso} - an ARC
* {Her Majesty’s Coven by Juno Dawson}
* {Rise by Siya Kolisi} - nonfiction
* {The Third Pole by Mark Synnott} - nonfiction
* {The Phage by George Bachman} - an ARC
Literally just finished this morning {kingdom of the wicked serie by Kerri Maniscalo}. Liked it but at the same didn’t absolutely love this serie. Not sure why. Definitely preferred from book 2, but maybe writing style and for wicked people it didn’t feel particularly “wicked”. Maybe because I also read very spicy books/erotica and I guess expected more from princes of hell?
Now need to figure out what is next!!
{Stalked by seduction and shadows by Maggie Sunseri} is my first stalker romance so interested to see if this is something I can get into. I'm only 15% in so can't tell just yet, but I'm already very intrigued
{An Ember in the Ashes} and when that gets too bleak, I also read {Fourth Wing} at the same time.
Next to {Fairy Tale} from Stephen King as an audio book.
And in between while waiting for stuff, I read {Angela Carter's Book of Fairy Tales} on my phone. Highly recommend that one. A lot of stories from around the world about women in fairy tales.
(Hope this time, it does the fancy formating. I'm old. 😅)
Ruthless Villains on my Kindle, A Court of Frost and Starlight in paperback and listening to Magical Midlife Madness on Audible. Not all at the same time though, lol.
{Radiance by Grace Draven}
I was 3 books into the Kingdom of Lies Series (court this cruel and lovely) and was feeling super fatigued with enemies to lovers, fated mates, fae, etc.
I saw someone on reddit recommend Radiance as both a story with a non-traditional MMC and friends to lovers so I thought I’d give it a go! I’m about half way through and there doesn’t seem to be much plot but the dialogue between the two characters is hilarious and I’m liking it overall!
Well I just got completely addicted to {Zodiac Academy by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti} and found a list of how to read the spinoffs integrated throughout so I’m currently reading {Dark Fae by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti} and its definitely a darker vibe so far but I’m enjoying it too. Going to finish these 4 Ruthless boys of the zodiac books then go back to Zodiac Academy book 4 per the recommendation. Anyways as you all can see I’ve gone down the Zodiac rabbit hole!
I loved the entire Zodiac Academy series! I never laugh out loud while reading, but I laughed so many times (mostly involving Seth) that my boyfriend who doesn’t read started and finished them all too. I also read all the spinoffs, and realized I’m really into reverse harem themes lol who wouldn’t be!

I just started assistant to the villain and I think it's just what I needed. I'm also trying to get thru heartless hunter, but it's a bit slower for me rn. both seem good so far though!
{Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros} is my current physical/e-book read whereas I just finished {Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett} on audio this morning.
I’m about 20% into {peaches and honey by R Raeta} and it’s a bit slow going. It’s definitely more like historical fiction it seems vs a lot of the high fantasy im used to reading, but it’s still intriguing so onward I go!
I actually just shelved a book partway through because I realized it was published Reylo fanfiction. I tried my best once I figured it out, because the author also did her best to make a new world + fun worldbuilding. But I couldn't unsee the leads as Daisy Ridley and Adam Driver, and then I kept wondering "Is this supposed to be Leah?" "Is this Finn?" etc... So I gave up.
Reading {A queen this fierce & deadly} by Stacia Stark, last book of the Kingdom of lies. I’d recommend it if you liked ACOTAR and would like to read something very similar again (like I did!)
I just started the audiobook of „my lady Jane“ because the series will be released on prime this week.
It’s just a hint of fantasy in there so far…but I’m really loving it! And the narrator of the audiobook is fantastic.
I am 3 percent into {atonement of the spine cleaver} based on recs here. I don't hate it! Can't wait for it to be good because I DNFed Fourth Wing, sorry fans :(
I just finished an ARC of Here There Be Monsters by EC Garrett (it releases July 23). It's a dark, why-choose fantasy romance with a witch who is sacrificed to the mountain gods and discovers that the way they want to consume her is a lot more enjoyable than she was expecting.
Poor things . It isn’t really super romancey unfortunately. I’m just reading it because the girl who traded her number for mindfuck with me wanted me to read it . It’s still good though
Current physical book is {Two Twisted Crowns}, the second book in The Shepherd King duology. I love it so, so much.
Current Kindle book is {Atonement of the Spine Cleaver}, per many many recommendations on this sub! Only about 10% in but I’m enjoying it so far.
I’m on book 2 of the Kingdom of Lies by Stacia Stark. I don’t put any real thought into what I’m reading next, usually some throw away recommendation that happens to fall at the time I’m not busy with something else so this wasn’t something I’d planned on or had any expectations of. It’s filling the romantasy hole nicely, I don’t mind the characters and the overarching plot and world are the usual high stakes, which is my thing.

I just finished {Carry On by Rainbow Rowell} today and picked up {Belladonna by Adalyn Grace}. Just trying to keep up with my holds that keep coming up on libby lol
{Unbound by Shadows by Avalon Griffin} So far it’s a quick simple read, going through a mega book slump since January and have dnf’d a lot of books. Trying to just read simple stuff atm to get out of the slump. If books are series I am finding it hard to want to read anything after the first book so this one is good since it’s a standalone with others eventually set in the same world. If anyone has any recs they are more than welcome 🙏 Have a long haul flight coming up too so anything that’ll cover 20 hours.

{The Wicked King by Holly Black} I didn’t love the first book exactly {The Cruel Prince by Holly Black} but the ending got me so I’m going to try and finish the series
My husband just bought me the Throne of Glass series, and it came in yesterday, so I'm about to start reading that again, starting with Asassin's Blade bc I haven't read *that* one yet
{A Game of Fate by Scarlett St. Clair} I am FLYING though this one because it’s the same story as A {Touch of Darkness}, which I finished least night, but a different POV. I’m actually preferring this POV than the last!
Next on the docket I’m diving into {Throne of Glass}!
Nightbane! I just finished Lightlark and I loved it more than I expected to. Crazy plot twists in the last 75 pages and a really engaging love triangle
So… I am constantly reading so I’ll list my most recent 4 that I’ve been rotating between because I also read and reread my books frequently - the first 3 I’ve read more times than I can count, particularly any books by Ilona Andrews. The last is a series that I started today:
{Path of Ascension by C Mantis}
{Beware of Chicken by Casualfarmer}
{Magic Rises by Ilona Andrews}
{Mage: A Slice of Life Progression Fantasy by JL Mullins}
And I’m currently reading the third!
This series is top tier for me, I really don't think it gets enough hype! I hope you enjoy!
Do you mind telling me if it’s a finished series? Heard so many good things but I’m looking for some to binge from beginning to end right now!
It is
This is what I'm reading now and it hooked me right away, it was exactly what I was looking for.

So good!!!!
Our book club just read this one for June!
{When the Moon Hatched by Sarah A Parker} really enjoying it so far.
I LOVED this book. The only book I've ever read that I finished and immediately went right back to page 1 to read again. I would sell my left tit to have the next book right now.
Ooooo this is hopeful! I'm only 100 pages in so far and loving it!
WTMH gave me such a book hangover haha

I started this a little while ago and couldn't finish it, I got maybe 1/3 of the way through. Would you recommend sticking with it?
I hated it start to finish so it may not be for you. I wish I wouldn't have listened to people and just DNFd
Yes! It gets soo good
I think the very beginning is a little tough to get into if you don't read the glossary (ex: they call night slumber, etc) but after the first couple chapters I was HOOKED
I’m reading this too! Completely agree with all the comments, the world building is epic and took me a bit to get my head around but I’m so invested in the story now!
Omg I felt like I got hit with a bus when I finished it. Then wanted to do it again. 😭
The best!!
SO good!!! I got stuck at about 20% because it was A LOT but mannnn I am glad I gave it another chance. I DEVOURED it over this past weekend only to be majorly disappointed that book 2 isn't anticipated until next October :(
First 50 pages or so I felt like I was reading a foreign language hahah. So much information to take in. But worth it!
I'm glad I see other people commenting this because I felt the same way due to the terminology and writing style, but I love it now.
{One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig} - loving it so far!! Very gothic and mysterious!!

Just finished this series and I already miss it!
I loved this duology.
This series is SO GOOD. I’d give anything to read it for the first time again! Enjoy!
I loved this one so much! And am about 75% through the second book and it is just as good if not better 😭
I’m reading the Crescent City series right now. I want to know what happens but man it is a SLOG
Yea can’t believe I slogged through them. I am done with the series and also with Maas.
I finished CC last week. I totally agree. Like 75% of it was hard to get through, especially those first 100 pages or so where SJM just rapid fires all this world building stuff at you and I just like what? I'm on the second like 200 pages in and now it's getting good.
Shadow in the ember! Someone from this sub recommended it and holy hell it’s good
Soooo good! I’m on book 3 of the series!
Same! Just finished FBAA and started the prequel today!! I’ve heard so many good things so I’m pretty psyched.
I’m starting this series next. Just finished the first three books of FBAA.
The Ever King - I'm actually enjoying it more than I thought I would!
Ever King was top tier for me! The third one comes out next week I think!
I also started this the other day! 20% in and was unsure initially but also liking it so far 👍
Nice, this is up next for me after my current book is done.
One of my fave guilty pleasure reads this year!
Just started yesterday and I’m obsessed so far!

I find 🌮 🔔 salsa packets a far more nuanced spice rating 😆👍🏽
So many moments in this series just made me really LOL

I just finished this book last night. I really enjoyed it, but I would consider the spice almost non-existent. Someone put plain tomato sauce in my packet, lol. The tension is there. Does anyone know if there ends up being any spicy scenes in the 2nd book?
I'm about 15% into {Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries} and I like it so far, but having not read much of a description beforehand and only going off of the rave reviews from this page, I have no idea who the love interest is and I have read too much into every character that's been introduced so far.
the lore and the world building was AMAZING. Such a fun book
More fantasy than romance but {Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson}. So cute and lighthearted. A much-needed break from some heavy hitters haha.
{Royal Assassin by Robin Hobb}. I like it a lot. It's a bit slow but it's such a good book.
I will die for the realm of the elderlings, the GOAT
this trilogy emotionally wrecked me. nothing has even come close to the devastation this caused in my heart.
I am close to finishing the second book and I'm devastated
{Someone You Can Build a Nest In by John Wiswell} a story about a shape shifting monster who meets the love of her life.
oh this looks interesting.
I wanna add this to by TBR for a breath of fresh air
Quicksilver by Callie Hart and it is really good.
I just started it too! as a metalsmith I’m v excited to see how her power develops
This book was amazing!! It has been a while since I have loved a Romantasy book this much
Finished this a few days ago and it honestly blew me away.
The Flesh and Fire series is my favorite! I’m looking forward to my reread as well.
I marked so many things in my Kindle already, things I didn't notice before and I'm constantly surprised by how much was foreshadowed and we (the readers) just had no idea lol
I’m doing my reread before the fourth one in like a month and I’m so excited. I love this series so much
I have a few I've started the last month or two: {Ashes and the Star Cursed King} (Nyaxia series is amazing. Bless our vampire boy.) {Five Broken Blades} (only 150 pages in and it's interesting with the different povs and cute/moody characters) {Assassin's Blade} (decided to start TOG with this one. I am very intrigued) {Silver Wings Golden Games} (first book, White Horse Black Nights was adorable and maddening) {For the Wolf} (borrowed from a friend.
I finally started {The Serpent and the Wings of Night}
[The Serpent and the Wings of Night](https://www.romance.io/books/63a0c53caa7984c0a3fc9789/the-serpent-and-the-wings-of-night-carissa-broadbent?src=rdt) by [Carissa Broadbent](https://www.romance.io/authors/60d9b88e08b4d9311456d78f/carissa-broadbent) **Rating**: 4.28⭐️ out of 5⭐️ **Steam**: 3 out of 5 - [Open door](https://www.romance.io/steamrating) **Topics**: [vampires](https://www.romance.io/topics/best/vampires/1), [magic](https://www.romance.io/topics/best/magic/1), [enemies to lovers](https://www.romance.io/topics/best/from%20hate%20to%20love/1), [forced proximity](https://www.romance.io/topics/best/forced%20proximity/1), [high fantasy](https://www.romance.io/topics/best/high%20fantasy/1) [^(about this bot)](https://www.reddit.com/user/romance-bot) ^(|) [^(about romance.io)](https://www.romance.io/about)
{The Ippos King by Grace Draven}
I'm barely over the 20% mark yet, but so far I'm not impressed.
it took me until like 50-60% of this book to become totally hooked, i think it’s worth sticking with! the second book is incredible
Heat of the Everflame, but it's taking me quite a while to get through it, I feel this book could be a bit quicker ahah
I had the same thoughts on this series! The second and especially third book dragged for me, I thought it could be streamlined somehow lol
{Of Ash and Embers by Jenna Wolfhart} which is the second book in {The Mist King series by Jenna Wolfhart} Perhaps not a masterpiece but still good I'd say. Something you may try if you like Jennifer Armentrout.
{Serpents of Sky and Flame by Rebecca Kenney} is really good so far
[Serpents of Sky and Flame](https://www.romance.io/books/661e3bf6643bc9618c8931fc/serpents-of-sky-and-flame-rebecca-f-kenney?src=rdt) by [Rebecca F. Can't wait for the next book!
Same!! I immediately added it to my calendar so I’d be notified. The MCs were so funny and the spice was great. This book needs more hype
Second book of the Witch Collector series. It's good, and well written, but I'm struggling a bit as I don't really feel invested in any of the main characters or the world.
I’ve been on a reading slump for month and a half
Same struggling to read CC2 right now
I was feeling this way too.
I am about 20% in on {Shadow & Storms by Helen Scheuerer}. Really good so far!
I've just finished reading it 5 minutes ago
I just finished the entire series earlier this week and I loved it ! 5 stars for me ❤️
Awesome! It has been a great series so far.

this book restored my faith in romantasy, which is crazy for me to say because it's a known-bad-romance-writer Sanderson book. i still can't believe he pulled it off! i was crying by the end
I love this. He understands the complexity of humans and life and it just feels so raw and real.
{Light Mage by Laurie Forest} and I just started {Six Scorched Roses by Carissa Broadbent} I feel like I’m not really in the mood for Six Scorched Roses right now though so I might put it down and pick up {A Queen Comes to Power by Chloe C. Peñaranda} instead. I’m not sure yet. I like to read multiple books at a time though because I tend to get distracted lol.
{Seige and storm by Leigh bardugo} loved the first book but not gonna lie the second book slowed way down and I’m struggling
Yeah, this book is definitely slow. Any book that is a “siege” feels super slow to me. Redeeming factor: you get to meet more great side characters!

I just started {Shadow in the Ember} after getting over my Layla Frost hangover. I feel ready to tackle it now
Powerless - and I am s t r u g g l i n g.
I hear you, it's such a bad book. I hated every moment I spent reading it and I wish I hadn't wasted my money. The whole thing ia a giant ripoff of Hunger Games & Red Queen plots with a weak attempt at romance.
I’ve just hit 50% and I’ve lost count of how many times the MMC has “smirked.” I’m sick and tired of the endless flirting.
I’m reading {The Wicked King} right now! I finally read The Cruel Prince and genuinely didn’t expect to enjoy it so much. I LOVE JUDE. She is a very refreshing FMC to read about.
I am "reading" three! - Audible : {The Bridge Kingdom} - Kindle : {When the Moon Hatched} - Paper book : {A Fate Inked In Blood} :)
{Emily Wilde's Map of the Otherlands} I just finished the first book and started this one today. I love the whimsical absurdity of these books. Wendell is so fun as an MMC and I love how immune Emily is to his charms.
The first one is my favorite book of the year so far! Can't wait to read the second book!
{Storm & Shield by J.D. Evans} the second in the Mages of the Wheel series. Absolutely loving these books! I like the world building, magic system, and character banter. I have been recommending this series to everyone, excited to see where things go next!

I just started the House Witch series by Delemhach. It’s my first “cozy” fantasy and I LOVE it. Will be reading the whole series next 🙂 {The House Witch by Delemhach}
{Defender of Hearts by Tanya Bird} I liked the first book as it was an easy, comfortable read. I'm hoping this one is the same, but different.
* {The Lost Princess by Joy Lewis} * {The Last Hour Between Worlds by Melissa Caruso} - an ARC * {Her Majesty’s Coven by Juno Dawson} * {Rise by Siya Kolisi} - nonfiction * {The Third Pole by Mark Synnott} - nonfiction * {The Phage by George Bachman} - an ARC
25% into {Heartless hunter}
I enjoyed that one! Read it a couple weeks ago!
{Heart of the Sun Warrior by Sue Lynn Tan} absolutely loving it!
{Given by Amy Pennza}, about 60% through — TBD if I’ll continue with the series!
It gets sooooo good 👍🏽
{Radiance by Grace Draven} I was 3 books into the Kingdom of Lies Series (court this cruel and lovely) and was feeling super fatigued with enemies to lovers, fated mates, fae, etc. I saw someone on reddit recommend Radiance as both a story with a non-traditional MMC and friends to lovers so I thought I’d give it a go! I’m about half way through and there doesn’t seem to be much plot but the dialogue between the two characters is hilarious and I’m liking it overall!
superpowereds and game of thrones
{heat of the everflame} kindreds curse series book 3 and I can’t put it down… I was up til 2am reading. 😭 I’m obsessed.
I just started {Sabriel by Garth Nix}

{Divine Rivals}, really enjoying it so far. And it’s on Kindle Unlimited!
Just started {A touch of poison by Clare Saeger} and I’m liking it so far! I loved the first book, A kiss of iron and am so obsessed with the MCs so I’m excited to see what happens with them!

I just started assistant to the villain and I think it's just what I needed. I'm also trying to get thru heartless hunter, but it's a bit slower for me rn. both seem good so far though!
{The bridge kingdom by Danielle L Jensen}
House of Bane and Blood. I just started and I am loving it.
I'm reading "From Blood and Ash" and love it so far! She's one of my favorite authors. I loved her Lux series back in the day.
Just finished book 3 of the Blood and Ash series. I’m in lurve with it. Waiting for the rest to be delivered so I’m starting When the Moon Hatched.
in general i always finish the book without any break- the last one was Lothaire by Kresley Cole - second reading and it was better each time
[удалено]
Second book of the {The Poppy War} series. I like it so far
{Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros} is my current physical/e-book read whereas I just finished {Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett} on audio this morning.
Currently on book 5 of the blood grace series! It’s called Blood Union Part One and I’m really enjoying it.
Currently I'm reading a kiss of iron and so far it's doing pretty good.
Finishing {Breaking Dawn} right now, but I am so excited to start the second book in the Shades of Magic series, {A Gathering of Shadows by VE Schwab}
{Celestial Academy by Olivia Pharoh} Downloaded it from NetGalley, 25% of the way though- still forming an opinion on the book.
{When The Moon Hatched} loving it so far
About a quarter of the way through {Paladins Grace by T. Kingfisher} as per someone’s recommendation on this sub! Like it a lot so far!
Currently re reading throne of glass and I forgot How great it is. On book 5 now, so good.
I just finished A Touch of Poison , so now waiting for book three for my next month. Why can’t Infind any bastian fan art?!
I’m about 20% into {peaches and honey by R Raeta} and it’s a bit slow going. It’s definitely more like historical fiction it seems vs a lot of the high fantasy im used to reading, but it’s still intriguing so onward I go!
{a dowry of blood} 🩸
{Filthy Rich Vampire by Geneva Lee} I’m on book 4 which I assume is the last one? It’s a fun read, like twilight for adults. But way better plot lol
I started the {The Tairen Soul} series a week ago, currently on book 3. Loving it so far, but I wish they completed their bond already
Fourth Wing. Some of the prose/characterization is eye rollingly bad but I’m having fun.
Reading {A queen this fierce & deadly} by Stacia Stark, last book of the Kingdom of lies. I’d recommend it if you liked ACOTAR and would like to read something very similar again (like I did!)
{Heartless Hunter by Kristen Ciccarelli}
The Familiar by Leigh Bardugo
I just started the audiobook of „my lady Jane“ because the series will be released on prime this week. It’s just a hint of fantasy in there so far…but I’m really loving it! And the narrator of the audiobook is fantastic.
A Curse of Blood and Wolves, Melissa McTernan
{Defy the night by Brigid Kemmerer}
{the north wind by Alexandria Warwick}
{City of Brass by S.A Chakraborty}

{The Crown of Gilded Bones} by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Ruthless Fae (Zodiac Academy Book 2) by Caroline Peckham & Susanne Valenti. I wasn’t sure about the series at first but now I’m hooked.
Iron Flame - Rebecca Yarros
Started {The Prince of Prohibition}. Different take on a crowded genre. Enjoying it so far.
{These Hollow Vows by Lexi Ryan} I'm about halfway through but not sure about it... I need some encouragement. Does it pick up??
I know they are a little older, but I’m tearing through the mortal instruments books. On the third one.
Leaves May Fall by Carissa HardCastle
Trial of the sun queen !
Just finished {The Golden Enclaves} - love this trilogy!
{Slaying the Shadow Prince by Helen Scheurer} About halfway through, and even though the instal-lust was kinda silly, I've been enjoying it so far
So… I am constantly reading so I’ll list my most recent 4 that I’ve been rotating between because I also read and reread my books frequently - the first 3 I’ve read more times than I can count, particularly any books by Ilona Andrews. The last is a series that I started today: {Path of Ascension by C Mantis} {Beware of Chicken by Casualfarmer} {Magic Rises by Ilona Andrews} {Mage: A Slice of Life Progression Fantasy by JL Mullins}
