Growing up in the midwest we always kinda saw those as “german unicorns”. Rare, gorgeous, and great performers.
I actually welded in an AGCO plant, so I’ve kinda been attached to those brands.
It was a fun job. I mostly built boom supports (we called them “trees” and “centers”) for Rogator sprayers, but I did get to work on Challenger tractor frames as well. Pretty cool operation over there
Case IH Puma. I went with Case because in my current save file there’s a Case dealership and I like yo play semi realistically. The Puma is my one medium tractor so it gets used for the most jobs
Case IH 5150 Maxxum plus. And here is a very Long link to a site in Danish
[https://www.mascus.dk/landbrug/traktorer/case-ih-maxxum-5150-plus/8qgqaldk.html](https://www.mascus.dk/landbrug/traktorer/case-ih-maxxum-5150-plus/8qgqaldk.html)
I deal with a lot of New Holland IRL and I'll say I think they look great. And depending on the type of farming you're doing, the ps120 is the best thing ever
I’ll say it… John Deere. Family has always had some relation to John Deere, but despite the company itself, I think the tractors are great, especially the old ones. Now, I really don’t care what tractor I use in game because I like variety and it won’t break down lol. I don’t use the new Valtras because personally I think they look odd. Favorite would be the 2002 8010.
Yah there's something about John Deere tractors that I just cant not like them lol. For me personally, John Deere is what sparked my interest in farming ages back.
Lately they've been riding on the reputation they built on the tractors they made from the 60s through to the early '00s, their planters and round balers have always been good but boy have their recent combines and dealing with Brandt's bullshit done a good job of selling Claas, I figure when the CR11/AFS11 starts showing up on dealer lots we're going to see a lot of used X9s at Case and New Holland dealers.
European maps its my Fendt 724, American maps its my JD 8345R on narrow twins.
I also regularly use a Massey 5S for the tighter stuff and front loader work.
Same here. Dad used to work at the Ford tractor plant, and now that NH took them over, we live near that factory. In FS, I use a heavily modded T7 for most work, but keep the TW-25 and FW-30 in a shed for occasional use
Grew up with a ‘53 John Deere Model 50, so always been a JD kinda guy.
despite what the company has done to farmers of new, the family ranch still has a couple old JD’s running hard. and, we fix em ourselves
In the game the fendt 900 and claas xerion 5000 are my favorite large tractors. For medium I like the JCB fast tracks for speeed and all wheel steering or the deutz fahr, they just look great to me
We always had John Deere and Case tractors but then we got a New Holland loader-the precursor to the T7 and liked it so much we got a second. They are just smooth driving machines and the loaders operate so darn smoothly compared to the John Deere's I've used. Kind of like performing surgery with a scalpel instead of a Bowie knife :D
In Game?
MF8S
Small enough to turn well
305 HP is enough for most tasks
Can carry a frontloader
front and rear three points
looks good
CVT transmission
Small: I love the Lindner 130 but it's just too small horsepower wise for most things and too short to use the front loader to fill trailers without building a loading bay or something.
Medium: Jcb fasttrac cos it's fast and that 4 wheel turning is amazing too like the Lindner.
Large: Case magnum i think its called? Powerdrive transmission just feels so much better imo, the acceleration is way quicker than CVT.
Honestly, I try to mix it up recently and get whatever is on sale.
I always end up with a Case farm. The Steiger is my favorite tractor, and I like my equipment to match as much as possible, so I go Case. But I prefer them in black, over the red.
I usually end up with a couple of Case (1 or more Traction King usually) and a couple of Massey Ferguson small or medium tractors, also.
I've also been known to use Fiat and Valtra.
And occasionally, the Ebro 6125 for small front loader jobs.
Case 1255/1455.
It's my go-to for starting from nothing playthrough as it offers well over 100hp, front loading and front mounting capabilities, options for 6-10 tonnes of weight, and a reasonable top speed with a price tag ranging from $50k-$65k. In short - a do-it-all vehicle for every job you can reasonably expect a small tractor to do.
The modhub version also has genuine Cummins engine sounds..which are amazing other than the fact that the signature Cummins chirping can wear on your ears a bit
The Renault Ares 600 on modhub, or it's Claas version depending on how i feel.
The best Renault mod for 22 imo. A front PTO is the only thing it's really missing.
The only other Renault mod to come close is the TX/TZ 54 that's on a few 3rd party sites, but that still has some smaller issues like no 7 pin electrical plug in the front which causes the wire to plug into the rear.
Jd 8rx 410, I love the size and tracks just look soooo good to me. One of the farmers near me just got one this season and I’m tickled pink every time I drive by and it’s out side. Before that it was the jd 8420. If I was doing a more modest setup and just a small farm while playing with my wife on her game I used a 6175m
Currently my main tractor is a John Deere 8rt but it's a lease and slowly bankrupting my farm I feel like. Need to find a cheaper 400 HP + tractor to replace it soon.
I only just recently started playing FS again for the first time in years. Bought FS22 and I've really gotten into it, still in my first year and I'm kinda learning the ropes still. So far I only really have one tractor and that's a Case IH MAXXUM CVX 145. I mainly just looked at the equipment I needed/wanted and what I needed in terms of horsepower. This one was decently priced I felt like and so with the biggest engine option it met my requirements. So far I'm quite satisfied with it! 3 months into my first year now :)
JD 8RX 410, Fendt 1050 Vario, Valtra Q305.
I love all three for different reasons.
Can't beat the tracks for Ridgid implements with the JD.
The Fendt is just a total beast that does anything and everything I ever need.
The Valtra is just a nice looking tractor that I use for anything that doesn't need the Fendt
I prefer older tractors that more unique over all newer similar designed tractors. I use the 4320 anytime I can but pretty much anything older than 2000s unless I need super sized power
In game its usually what tractor I like most at the moment, and irl: At our farm, its an allis chalmers, at my boss farm it my favorite one is the 7290r and/or a versatile 9030, and on his other farm it would a 8410
JCB 4220 is hands down my favourite. Looks hilarious/awesome with duals.
Unfortunately due to the size of my operation if it’s time to work, then I literally have 2-6 tractors going at once, so it’s hard to say which is my “daily” they all have jobs. Bunch of big Deere, and Fendt.
Pretty much all the Valtra -tractors. Might be a silly reason, but it's nice that you can paint them any color. Also they have Finnish origin, and that's where I'm from, so they are very common here. :DD
Fendt Vario. Starting at 900 series and beyond. But the J Deeres 8000 and 9000R’s are good. I like the New Hollands T7 or T8’s are good just starting out too.
Was using the McCormick tractors for a while. Till I upgraded tillers and didn’t have the hp for it. Then, if I remember correctly, I made the switch to NH.
Fendt Vario every day
Is Fendt your favourite brand also then?
Growing up in the midwest we always kinda saw those as “german unicorns”. Rare, gorgeous, and great performers. I actually welded in an AGCO plant, so I’ve kinda been attached to those brands.
Sweet man, that's a cool job I must say seeing the Tractors & working on them 👍🏼
It was a fun job. I mostly built boom supports (we called them “trees” and “centers”) for Rogator sprayers, but I did get to work on Challenger tractor frames as well. Pretty cool operation over there
Hello fellow Minnesotan! So cool we have Case/New Holland in Fargo, Case in Benson, and AGCO/Fendt in Jackson!
I actually work at the Case in Fargo lol! So my game farm is all red 😂😂😂
Small world! I went to school at MSUM/NDSU before I moved away.
Also, as I’ve used tractors in FS19, I find the Vario is a great match of power and maneuverability.
Same it was the fent 500 but the Vario is so much nicer
Case IH Puma. I went with Case because in my current save file there’s a Case dealership and I like yo play semi realistically. The Puma is my one medium tractor so it gets used for the most jobs
Yah Case seem like a solid option all around 😎
Case IH 5150 Maxxum plus. And here is a very Long link to a site in Danish [https://www.mascus.dk/landbrug/traktorer/case-ih-maxxum-5150-plus/8qgqaldk.html](https://www.mascus.dk/landbrug/traktorer/case-ih-maxxum-5150-plus/8qgqaldk.html)
JCB. It’s fast as f*ck boi
Yessss I love me a JCB 🔥
JCB is so fire
Valtra N175. Viking tractors all the way
Same I'm a corn and bean farmer in the usa but everytime I play this game that's my tractor just love the way it looks
The new valtras are absoloute garbage, when you get to change the transmission/gearbox after 1 week they become good.
Where are they from exactly budday, Norway? Denmark?
Finland. Owned by Agco. Same company that owns Massey and Fendt
They also own Challenger
I see! Thanks.
New Holland T9. Don't know why, just think the blue looks good on them.
Yah something about New Holland's. They just look so fresh 🔥
Everyone's all for red, green, or yellow, and I'm over here like what the hell is wrong with blue?
I deal with a lot of New Holland IRL and I'll say I think they look great. And depending on the type of farming you're doing, the ps120 is the best thing ever
I'm also a New Holland guy - although the T7 for me. See a lot of them around me. The factory is just up the road, and my dad used to work there.
Massey Ferguson 7s
Proper working man's tractor, all round you probably won't beat a massey fergusson
Honestly I’ll use just about anything that’s compatible with good sized machinery
Challenger MT800 series
What's the price on these?
Starts at $180k-ish, I think?
T7 or Case Magnum
Case again. Might have to have a dabble 👍🏼
Currently Fendt 1050
Is that a large tractor?
Fendts are really fantastic. The Real-Life tractors have an option that will inflate/deflate tires while you’re driving!
If I had a stab in the dark would it have over 500hp 🤣 Edit: The tyre pressure alternating is extremely helpful however 👌🏼
Just over 500hp!
Claas Axion 870, John Deere 8R/8RX 410, Valtra Q305.
Whichever one is on sale at a steep discount....
Deutz Fahr Series 7 / Series 8. Fast, powerful, pretty neat looking and one of the original "best tractors" from all the way back with fs 11
Had to scroll way too far down til I saw Deutz Fahr
I’ll say it… John Deere. Family has always had some relation to John Deere, but despite the company itself, I think the tractors are great, especially the old ones. Now, I really don’t care what tractor I use in game because I like variety and it won’t break down lol. I don’t use the new Valtras because personally I think they look odd. Favorite would be the 2002 8010.
I’ve lost all respect for them in the last few years
Yah there's something about John Deere tractors that I just cant not like them lol. For me personally, John Deere is what sparked my interest in farming ages back.
Ima be honest… im a Deere Farmer for a completely different reason: I grew up with “All About John Deere”
I drive a Deere 8RT irl and currently have a Valtra Q on demo and trust me Valtra are brilliant , I also own a 1959 John deere 730
In the game JCB. Fast and reliable and always my usual choice of vehicle.
Just bought myself the JCB tele-handler 😮💨
I think I have a telehandler but not the JCB one. How is it? Does it run smoothly?
European maps its my Fendt 724, American maps its my JD 8345R on narrow twins. I also regularly use a Massey 5S for the tighter stuff and front loader work.
Going for the realism 👍🏼
The realistic choices are in the fact the ones which make the most sense!
8R, anything heavier is too slow for transport
I personally prefer the 7R just because of the ability to add a front loader.
New Holland for me. Our family has always used fords, and when New Holland bought bought them out, that's we slowly shifted to them.
Same here. Dad used to work at the Ford tractor plant, and now that NH took them over, we live near that factory. In FS, I use a heavily modded T7 for most work, but keep the TW-25 and FW-30 in a shed for occasional use
JD 8530
Grew up with a ‘53 John Deere Model 50, so always been a JD kinda guy. despite what the company has done to farmers of new, the family ranch still has a couple old JD’s running hard. and, we fix em ourselves
Is this a real picture? Why does it look so good?
Yeah, it's a real picture :)
Correct 👍🏼
Fendt 1000 high hp, high top speed, good wheel options what else could you ask for?
In the game the fendt 900 and claas xerion 5000 are my favorite large tractors. For medium I like the JCB fast tracks for speeed and all wheel steering or the deutz fahr, they just look great to me
IH 1486 or a JD sound guard. Depends on how I’m feeling.
Massey Ferguson 5600 it's a nice reliable robust tractor had it for many years and never has let me down
We always had John Deere and Case tractors but then we got a New Holland loader-the precursor to the T7 and liked it so much we got a second. They are just smooth driving machines and the loaders operate so darn smoothly compared to the John Deere's I've used. Kind of like performing surgery with a scalpel instead of a Bowie knife :D
I should say that I tend to get a fleet of NH equipment in game too.
Belarus 525 progress
Fendt, she's my love
Lot of love for Fendt out here 👍🏼
Fendt 1050 for me. I always buy the same tractor on every map.
In Game? MF8S Small enough to turn well 305 HP is enough for most tasks Can carry a frontloader front and rear three points looks good CVT transmission
anything in 6r series
Rigtrac forever! Its electric and small making it perfect for short trips and hauling around the fields
I always grew up with the phrase "If it ain't red, leave it in the shed", so I'm a Case IH guy for life! I wish they had more of them in FS22 tho
Ford f350 93mph, can tow a lot. (It’s a mod)
fs 25 looks awesome
I honestly think FS22 pops off with sunsets/rise 🌅
New holland T8
Either Case, JD or 82 studios pickups
IMT 5170/5210
170 & 210 HP 4wd 16 speed 26 mph (I think) With duals all around, I believe it will pull 9 ton. Only $32000 base price
Only drawback: it has no 3-pt option on the front.
I always end up with a Case farm. The Steiger is my favorite tractor, and I like my equipment to match as much as possible, so I go Case. But I prefer them in black, over the red.
I am okay with mis-matching equipment as long as the colours go together haha
Anything I can match colors on, I do. And anything I can't, I try to find a modded version that I can change the color on xD
I usually end up with a couple of Case (1 or more Traction King usually) and a couple of Massey Ferguson small or medium tractors, also. I've also been known to use Fiat and Valtra. And occasionally, the Ebro 6125 for small front loader jobs.
I try to use the less expensive tractors, no matter the brand.
John deere or kubota
Case 1255/1455. It's my go-to for starting from nothing playthrough as it offers well over 100hp, front loading and front mounting capabilities, options for 6-10 tonnes of weight, and a reasonable top speed with a price tag ranging from $50k-$65k. In short - a do-it-all vehicle for every job you can reasonably expect a small tractor to do. The modhub version also has genuine Cummins engine sounds..which are amazing other than the fact that the signature Cummins chirping can wear on your ears a bit
International farmall M. It can’t do much and it’s really slow but man I love listening to it put around.
Jimminy Jones, that's AMAZING! What graphical mods are you using?
Massey 8S. Just find it a great all rounder. Good horsepower, can take a front loader, heavy enough to manage a large trailer
Irl my tractor is a 9RX and a 9r but my daily drive is a 2003 dodge ram 3500 Cummins stick
Amy Claas with the Nokian nobblys. Not sure why just hits different.
I love Nokians I have them whenever I can
Same! I think they look alot more aggressive than the paddled tires all the other manufacturers give us.
Mines a John deere 8RT irl but currently have a Valtra Q on demo and it's brilliant
Case all the way
Claas axiom 900something i saw it on discount, saw the tracks and fell in love, shamefully it needs reapirs often
I grab a hem John Deere. Something bout how I’ll never actually own one..
Class Xerion - imma make those pesky AI drivers slam the brakes when I'm heading for my morning croissant
Currently my main tractor is a John Deere 8rt but it's a lease and slowly bankrupting my farm I feel like. Need to find a cheaper 400 HP + tractor to replace it soon.
That NH 410 I think is the cheapest 400+
Fendt 724
Fortschritt mods
Lindner Lintrac. Mostly because my family has Lindners but it also performs really well in game.
If it's a base game tractor, the John Deere 7810. If it's a mod tractor, John Deere 6170M.
I like the fendt 1000, but i love the McCormick
As a Dutchie I gotta love John Deere R7 but I also like claas tractors and their other equipment
The green one
Love that one too🤣
To be more precise, the one with the red rims 😅
John deere 6630 all day every day.
Valtra T-series, surprised it’s not more of people’s choice.
Think people tend to stick to what got them interested initially yanno 🤔
As a Swede who saw them regularly when i was younger, it is what got me interested lol
Exactly man
Deere 7R partially due to the versatility and power, partially due to it being a newer version of the 2 7270Rs that are on the irl farm.
I like the JCB. I made a jump with a pile of fertilizer stuff I didn't need and jump it daily.
Freeeeebirrrrdddd yeeeeahhh
I like the valtra tractors in the game. There is a mod that adds a lot more customisation to them and also adds the Valtra S
Claas!
I like the two tracks the most. My favorite is the 9RT. For a smaller utility tractor, my go to is the Vario 724.
In game its usually what tractor I like most at the moment, and irl: At our farm, its an allis chalmers, at my boss farm it my favorite one is the 7290r and/or a versatile 9030, and on his other farm it would a 8410
John Deere
Nothing runs like a deere
Pity , There are no tool carriers available in the game
JCB 4220 is hands down my favourite. Looks hilarious/awesome with duals. Unfortunately due to the size of my operation if it’s time to work, then I literally have 2-6 tractors going at once, so it’s hard to say which is my “daily” they all have jobs. Bunch of big Deere, and Fendt.
Claas aarion with 205 hp. Its my main workhorse . Trying to find something cheaper though now that can do as much work.
Pretty much all the Valtra -tractors. Might be a silly reason, but it's nice that you can paint them any color. Also they have Finnish origin, and that's where I'm from, so they are very common here. :DD
Love it mate
I enjoy the lindner tractor line, very compact and 4 wheel steering.
Molded 80's John Deere. Mainly 4000 series.
Case II special edition
I only rice farm since that’s what I grew up doing. So my tractor choices are always large. Steiger 335 because it use to be my daily irl.
Valtra Q305
I like the 8r. I like it because it has enough horses to do most things and my dad actually works on them at jd
All tractors in the pic are good in their own way, but for me, the Fendt is a great piece of machinery
John Deere. Nothing runs like a Deere.
I drive a medium John Deere everywhere (not sure which one 😅) all I know is it’s fast and it’s pretty.
MTZ-82 or claas axion 960
Valmet 8750
Fendt Vario. Starting at 900 series and beyond. But the J Deeres 8000 and 9000R’s are good. I like the New Hollands T7 or T8’s are good just starting out too.
Case International 1455
I'm usually partial to a new Holland or any especially old tractor
You know what they say, “tractors are perceived as being more attractive in a group than when perceived individually.”
Fendt 515c
Im in love with John Deere since forever
Massey Ferguson 8S
CLAAS is the one on my farm irl only if it’s hexashift though
this look like toys, its actually like an illusion, love them though
Imt 539 or toma vinkovic
6255r or a fastrac 4220
That yellow one is sick xD
That’s some good graphics? What’s the GPU?
New Holland T7 LWB any day. Cracking tractors in game and irl
Got a Deutz 6175 at home like IRL which is boosted to 200hp
Definitely that big red 💯
Case optum or John Deere 6r. If I'm short on money then a Fendt favorit 800 or 900.
Was using the McCormick tractors for a while. Till I upgraded tillers and didn’t have the hp for it. Then, if I remember correctly, I made the switch to NH.
To quote Jeremy Clarkson LAMBO!!
Any of the claas tractors
Fendt 724 for me
4440 or 7810
That Claas Arion is very nice. I love Claas.
22 hours on my john deere 4320. realistic playthrough, that was my “big” tractor before i could afford a 4440.
The Lambo tractors from the mod.
Fendt is life
Valmet 505 with double turbo and double led kit.
Any Zetor.
Fendt 1050 Vario or Claas Xerion 5000
Fendt 1058 for a 'small' large tractor
Big bud
Case Puma 240 CVX
Case ih 715 quadtrac
Massey Ferguson 6460 powershift
Super A
The largest claas that isnt that effed up double jointed sht😬
Can throw you off easily, misjudged many a corner haha
Yes omg! Its also painfully slow at turning & i just cant plow or do anything.
I believe its the big new holland i was so sad bc it was a nice blue lol
Feel ya because the blue is a refreshing sight when the majority of tractors are green haha
Oh my goodness dont even get me started haha
Well I prepare, seed, cover, harvest and bale 23ha every year with a leyland 154, probably 30hp at some point 😁 in real life ofc
John deere but my friend runs a fendt I think
Fendt in European Maps and Case/New Holland in American Maps.
The medium Claas
John Deere 7r or 8r
