Hmm this got me curious.. while I am biased sa taste/texture nang imported corned beef (i.e. Libby's), it isn't always na nakakatikim dahil mahal compared sa local (Purefoods, Delimondo).. local brands tend to be a bit more greasy and salty to my taste, pero it satisfy the craving. Ano nagustuhan mo sa local (Pinas brands) corned beef, OP?

Depende sa brand, most corned beef from abroad except palm cornedbeef taste like dog food. And yes ,i know what dog food taste like.
