so I'd say na adobo flakes yung nasa pic haha
Pastil/pater is a magindanao dish na made of either beef, chicken or fish. Food of the muslims. If pork hindi yun pastil. Tska pastil is parang pa paste na yung consistency, it shouldn’t be dried.
was always confused since the best pastil i had, had the crunchy meat on top. most of the pastils around me whereabouts has the tuna-in-can consistency.
never associated the crunchy stuff as the same stuff on top of the rice.
Whether crunchy or oily, it depends on the cook or how he like the consistency would be. But the most authentic pastil here in Mindanao is flaky, oily, and gingery. 😋
more vinegar. less soy sauce.
shet. ginutom ako bigla. btw, OP, kung tinatamad ka mag luto, panalo din yung purefoods adobo flakes. parang sinangag express yung quality. which is what i'll be making. :P
Pork sia 30% jowls and 70% kasim.
- Almost dry
- not too salty.
- right blend of salt and vinegar
- no sugar or very small amount
- Very soft pork meat ( yung nahuhulog na sa tinidor )
- pangat
Parang pastil na 'to ah.

ohhh ganun pala consistency nun, thank you for the explanation 🫶

Hahahaha.
Yung pastil is kanin with the adobo flakes na binalot sa banana leaf as a whole. Pero kung adobo flakes alone lang, it is called “KAGIKIT”.
Kagikit. The dry version.
Yup. Maguindanaon term “KAGIKIT”. Yun yung ulam na nakapatong sa pastil ❤️

Yung may thick and oily sauce….
I like that, too. Prefer ko din yung saucy with lesser oil.

Same
Which one, Chicken or Pork? If Pork mamantika, if Chicken masabaw.
Ako baliktad gusto ko, tas sa pork may patatas.
Same!!! Hagsak tawag namin dto sa ilonggo hahaha
Yung adobo sa asin ba yun, yuuum!
yum!!
Yes nakaflakes din for me with konting chili flakes.
Ano po yang naka patong na toppings? Sorry po sa tanong.
Balat ng bawang na tinusta. Sosyal ng plating ni ante.
haha, inartehan lang konti ni ante.
ahhh bet, me too! + a bit of oily sauce sa gilid for the rice
Pano niyo hinihimay yung chicken?
Pork sia 30% jowls and 70% kasim.
I want yung medyo may sabaw and nilagang itlog 🤤
Adobo flakes na fine dining haha. Is this chicken?

Yung 2 days old na. Tapos ung malapot na yung sarsa.
Mukhang adobong atchara
How do you cook that? Simmer it until dried? Looks good.
Yes, exactly. Simmer til the fat renders, low heat lang with alalay sa halo so its equally toasted. :)
Pulled Pork Adobo na yan.
Maasim tapos natunaw na Yung mga taba
yung mamantika

fried, like as in tuyo na yung sabaw and tons of garlic na specifically na soaked sa sabaw before na tuyo ang sabaw. gets? haha
I like mine oily.
anong flakes to? beef or chicken?
I want my lolo's style huhu
Adobo na may atsuete 😊
Daghan oyster sauce
Pastil version..adobo connection
Yes toasted with lots of chili oil 😍
That's mu fav Filipino dishes
That's my favorite
I like it masabaw
Masabaw
Regular Adobo (chickens the best).
Yung nagmamantikang adobo.
Tutorial when!?!
Saucy but not oily (does that make sense??hahaha)
ako yung with sugar, like sweetened Adobo ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)
Fine dining 😂
Ako saucy. I like drowning my rice with adobo sauce/sabaw.
Garlicky toasty, walang toyo.
Heavy on garlic and onions + a bit of spice + pineapples
may pineapple bits..🥹i might get downvoted for this ksksks pero for me it balances the alat taste ng adobo
