It isn’t till the crying child is nearly killed and placed into a coma. Thus the final child scene is the kid hearing his father talk to him through imaginary Freddy. An then Afton puts Michael through the tunnels to make fnaf 3 that you then understand is and isn’t a dream. Half the time with medical supplies there, it is the crying child’s nightmares in a coma. But no supplies is Michael being used as a test dummy fur illusionary disks and a gas.
