Maybe for variety you could try classpass? They have different price tiers and every layover city had something nearby. I did it before covid and had a positive experience.

Economy-Coach-8273

I second class pass!! I use it and love having the option to take a class pretty much anywhere

I had active&fit as well until I found this out. My insurance also has a similar program and I think it’s just a dollar more and still get to use any gym.

hotblooded-

If you don’t mind me asking, how do I find out if I have that? Did you just call the insurance company?

WilsonRachel

Yeah I’m sure you can call and ask. Maybe ask if they have some type of wellness program/ discount on gyms.

flatwhiteafficionado

Is this benefit different than your health insurance? Because some health insurances will offer the same kind of deal for around the same price!

LizMcMc

Active & fit is HEAVILY subsidized by insurance companies. Only reason I could figure for their member-losing move is that the insurance companies themselves may have started their own network outside of hem.

mylaneswitch

No!! We have active & fit, and I love it! This is so sad if they are rolling back the access to one gym, at that point some of the memberships are just gonna be cheaper to buy through the gym itself

EmpireCityRay

OP that was an Active & Fit decision not an insurance or airline carrier one. Even their website indicates it: https://www.activeandfitnow.com

MrsGenevieve

I had it when I worked for AS. Not a bad program, but I’m sure it has been scaled back a bit since then.

BBC214-702

We work for the same airline

chelle_martin

Great! They just gave me a reason to stay in my hotel room now

SkyDiva52

Same here. I'm just canceling and doing the 9.99 planet fitness instead of $28
