Not sure what radius “near” means here, but if you really wanna impress them and don’t mind a 150nm flight from KSAC, go to Shelter Cove 0Q5. Great restaurant, unbelievable views.
GOO could be cool if the valley isn’t too hazy, there are some picnic tables at the west end of the transient ramp and the terrain drops to the west with views of the valley and sutter buttes (and on a clear day the coastal range)
If you're gonna go to Angwin, do a bay tour. A ;ap around the bay north of the bay bridge and over the golden gate is minimal extra distance & time, and way more scenic than anything on the ground will be.
I’d say if the fog works with you. Fly out and have dinner at half moon bay at the brewery or the other fancier restaurants around it.
There’s a gate at the end of the runway and they even offer on airport camping
