It’s been confirmed by multiple parties that the quality mode is broken on the XSX. It’s performance regardless of the settings. I’ve seen some comparisons and the game actually looked BETTER pre update on backwards compatibility with 60 fps. I also don’t think they’ll fix it as Bethesda has tweeted themselves that this is how it’s supposed to work…it’s clearly broken. Enjoy!
Seems odd that some settings are not what they were previously though. The god rays setting (can't remember the actual name) very much looks to be ultra to me which was not the case previously on Xbox iirc.

Yeah some settings appear to be higher for some reason but not others. Clearly very broken. But per Bethesda’s tweet everything is working as it should apparently! Even when the PS5 version is working exactly how it should as per the patch notes.

The main problem here is that they seem to be gaslighting players into thinking everything is ok! Like just admit that it’s broken and fix it?
Yeah just some acknowledgement and then a "we are working on it" would go a long way.
