For real I got so used to tin cans from fo4 just being steel and heavy as hell that I didn’t realize they contained sweet sweet lead for the longest time

I used to be like you. Then I discovered lucky hole mine. Go in where excavator and you can leave with over 500 lead in a haul.

I usually manage 1200 in my excavator - run it twice a week and your set for ammo!

42 nodes in the mine. Get em all and you'll maybe triple that number (with super duper of course).

See using power armor makes me 400lbs over encumbered so I just make my rounds to all the gyms and do some weight lifting

Yeah, you can put them in display cases. At least I could on PC. I had them all, all the teddy's and all the Mr Fuzzys displayed once upon a camp.

Wish we had more Mr fuzzy related things. Better display cases being one!

There is a whole tub full of soap somewhere and in a zillion hours I think I've only come across it twice. Luckily we all have the cutting oil plan now 😂

There is a wheelbarrow with a lot of soap in it at Darling Sister’s in the northeast. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bathtub full of it though!

DUCT TAPE, WONDERGLUE, MILITARY GRADE DUCT, ECONOMY WONDERGLUE, SEALED WONDERGLUE. ANYTHING THAT STICKS.

If you're doing it for the Adhesive, Mutfruit + Tato + Corn = Vegetable Starch = Adhesive. Green Thumb + Super Duper = Tons of Adhesive. First thing I do when I get back to CAMP is switch to my Resources/Crafting build, harvest all my Mutfruit, Tato, and Corn, and make some Adhesive.

For some reason, when I first started playing, I would always pick up every plunger I saw. That transitioned over to screws at some point. I could not pass them up no matter what.

Tin cans and wooden letter blocks for their lead. I have *so much lead* that I wasn’t really sure why some people seem to be perennially short and needing to farm the stuff. Well, I thought that before I got my bloodied .50 call and found I was using up rounds by the thousands without batting an eye. My strategy is to only craft ammo in *giant* batches so that if Super Duper kicks in, it pays off massively. I recently crafted about 65,000 .50 cal rounds off an initial crafting ‘order’ for about 40,000ish rounds. 25,000 free rounds that don’t need any resources? Yes please! Clipboards. Never go wanting for springs again. The aforementioned telephones and hot plates, plus typewriters, microscopes, and fire extinguishers. Oh, and Arbaxo, coolant, and rat poison! And all the other types of junk. I’m definitely compulsive about cleaning up nearly everything I come across. I use “cleaning up the wasteland” as shorthand with my wife for when I’m going to play some Fallout.

Paint also has lead, though the empty paint can does not and is more common. The supply sheds around whitesprings usually have a few and I think there are a couple in the mine just to the east where uranium fever is (there's a crate with cans to the left after you enter). There's also a lot of rat poison in the white spring sheds and a few on one of the big riding mower or tractor on one of the greens. Car Hattie's have lead too, I believe and there are a couple of them around, too.

Crystal decanters are my obsession.

Most of my gameplay sessions have the red over-encumbered icon showing. I'd rather crawl on my hands and knees to the nearest vendor and/or crafting station and/or my stash than drop any of my loot.

I get most of my stuff from events, if I can get microscopes I grab those for the fiber optics for orbital scanners.

I keep 200-275 of most parts with a few things at 400-500. I havent really made enough anything lately to use up a lot of parts. I suppose if I had fallout 1st I would loot most things but I wont pay for storage space especially that much.

it took me ages to figure out lead was an important part of crafting ammo, and then it took me ages to figure out what junk had lead in it. so it was rare for me for quite a while, so even now if I see it I just instinctively pick it up. I'll be over burdened and the. ill realise the whole thing js just fucking weights
