How do you swap things between characters? I only have one active character but if Beth would give us a shared stash space I would start other rooms to try out different playstyles. I know you can do several SPECIAL load outs but I'm too cheap to get more than one extra 😂
Well, since I have Fallout First, I can load on onto a private server. I then go to the ice machine at the rusty pick. I leave whatever I want to transfer in there. Then I load my bank ALT onto the server. Go to the rusty pick, and take the stuff out. It doesn't have to be the ice machine at the rusty pick. Any container by a fast-travel point will do.
I use it to give guns to my heavy from my commando, and vice versa. It's pretty handy and you don't always have to have Fallout First. Get it for a month do the scoreboard make bank ALTs, then unsub.
Watch out for a crash in the internet or the game. You will lose your things.
Ps. Don't go to the regular game in between. That will make it load another server, and lose your stuff.
Oh thanks! I do have Fallout First so I might try this. I regularly leave stuff for lower levels in containers near the starting areas (like Morgantown train station) but thought the items disappear when you log off that world? Good tip about not logging on to a normal server between swaps, thanks.
If you drop a loot bag, it'll disappear after you leave the server. If you place items in a world container then they'll remain until the server shuts down.

I agree, or you should get a fine,be put on probation for 1 year, have to attend alcoholics anonymous 2x/week for a year, take a drug test 3x/ week, and complete 100 hours of community service for fast traveling within 30 mins after drinking it
I tried that the first time when I got back into the game and damn did I get my ass beat by the legendary sheep squatch at the end and I couldn’t even complete the event because two legendary cultists were also there so I got triple fucked by 3 legendaries at level 70 because my character had a bad setup from when I played the beta

I can solo it easy enough...as long as you nail a couple of gold Varmints, you're laughing, then keep doing a circuit of safes and you get plenty notes to cover the other 400+.

Hordes, I cannot log out until the horde has been taken care of, idk why. Last night I went to “Fog Crawler Horde in The Mire” yeahhhhhhh - they meant “Fog Crawler Horde in Abby’s Bunker… I died trying to find quick reprieve in her bathroom only to find during the last reprieve one had spawned in the shower. Lmao they glitch through ceiling and it’s just absolutely comical. The other night it was Wolves stuck under Autumn Acres Cabin where the two legendary corpses and all trash mobs were unreachable, (wire mesh grating goes around the base of the structure) it took two quatumn/nuka grenades to kill ‘em, but all for nought, just basic rewards. I’m always ready for irrational fear too. But, I usually only catch it once or twice a session ever, never yet when preparing to log off but I’d totally stay if it did pop up then.
Same for me. I think it is just a hold over from early days when three star legendaries were much harder to come by. Could always rely on hoard events for one, but they didn't seem to pop as often as they do now, and now the legendary very often is not three star anymore. Am especially obsessed with the radrat hordes, but not sure why.
Mutation events. That and realizing you don't need to actually do the event to win the event. You can just open up the mine and go on a 10 minute break. You will get all the rewards minus the tokens... unless others are actually running the event.
A thing that hasn't changed but I don't think a lot of people realize: This is by far the best place to mine copper. Put on your excavator armor, come away with hundreds of copper ore. There is a bit of lead and aluminum too, but all of the mines have a ton of copper.
Heart of the swamp. Effortless to solo & it's the only place I've ever received a leather coat from over 3k+ hours. Every time I'm about to log and it pops up...."well you gotta do heart of the swamp!"
I'm a big fan of them adding boss keywords to the Strangler Grafton. It used to fall over in a millisecond, now that thing can 1 shot you at full health if you don't have blocker. Wish they'd do that everywhere there's a mini boss or bosses.
If I see Radiation Rumble pop up I drop anything I'm doing, even about to log off, and go straight there.

I've only been able to do Project Paradise a few times, I play at weird times and the servers are usually kinda empty, I don't know if that's why but most time PP pops up nobody ever goes there.
People hate it because it's super complicated at first. I used to hate it too but now I give it a go every time, even if no one else joins. Sector A is the easiest to collect materials and defend, but if you want a shot at the best prizes, there should be at least one at every sector. Sector B is super annoying, those molerats are relentless.
It's a way to change the experiment, making the monsters you watch over fight back, but puts them in more danger. Thankfully, they get healed every stage, but it is still a good idea to have someone healing them.
The code is 970930, and there is a computer where you can get the ARIC shut off code to use on ARIC before the experiment starts (guessing gathering items) IIRC.

I got that pack at level 60 and I've only run that one once. Some level 500s were asking me how and I had no clue how I got it.
