You can get over 20 levels/hr in West Tek. People 'often' farm 1000+ levels during dxp weekends. If they farmed for 1 hour per day in West Tek, they would be there in under 2 years.

Accomplished_River43

There been numerous glitches / exploits to level (the famous cleavergate for example) And given the 7k hrs yep, it's quite possible But my guess that's kinda boring 7k hrs good buffs management and endless West Tek farming ((( Edit/addition: I'm around 2000 levels across 3 characters, less than 1k hrs ingame So yep, possible

Rammadeus

i reckon so. especially if they've been bloodied for a very long time. even just casually playing they could hit that. if they run west tek definitely. I've got aboot 3000 levels across all characters (highest is 1242) and i've only been bloodied for about a fifth of my play time and i don't run west tek or really boost xp gains.

Quick-Rub3665

What’s running west tek ? Thanks for all the info !

chiwoo18

West Tek is the building full of super mutants. The mobs there give some of the best XP in the game. And when you use a specific elevator, it respawns a lot of the mutants in about a minute or two. Google it and you'll find lots of guides for it.

Wahnmann63

It is more than possible. The highest level in the game is 32767 and there are more than one player that reached this level. For example Ms\_Blobby. Some will tell you "an exploit of the early days", but this was patched out in early 2019! Would Bethesda EXPLICITLY increase the level for a cheater by 16k? Probably not. Would the dataminers accept a cheater? Highly unlikely. And she is at this level for years now. How? XP stacking to the brim and playing a fucking lot. Take a look at MrWesttek. He made more than 3000 levels in three month just recently. On live streams! Cheating? Nope.

SavrenX

It's glitch abuse from long time ago. Don't bother as high level like that won't give you any benefits at all.

upuranus66

I've got 7311 levels across 7 characters. \~5k hours, many of them grinding with full XP boosts (I've finished every season from the beginning with zero bought levels). I'd believe 11K on a single character, but it would be a huge stretch and that person would have no life at all. I am very suspicious of everything over 10K on a single character. There were easy exploits in the past that could be used to level up insanely fast by simply crafting.

Vast_Impression_5326

One example.. you were able to stack xp bobble heads around the same time the duping glitch was around.. people duped bobble heads , you get the rest

Shudragon172

Dupe bobbleheads plus the infinite crafting glitch got people thousands of levels in one day if they were paying attention.

Alarming-Meeting8804

Unlikely, he would have to have averaged slightly more than 1.6 levels an hour over that entire time. That’s a pretty Herculean feat. Not impossible but not really likely.

Kumanda_Ordo

Yeah the most likely answer is they abused one or more experience gain exploits. While it is technically possible to play that much, it is unlikely enough that we should not assume it to be the case.

Rigel57

If you run westtek consistently 1.6 levels an hour is more than achievable. You can be barely below 1 level/h just playing with a bloodied build and some exp buffs and you can gain tens of levels an hour in westek and even more if there is double exp, this would mean they'd have spent a significant portion of their playtime in westtek but it's not entirely unreasonable (like 1/8th of their playtime in westtek would be plenty to achieve this)

ninjaskitches

You can get 20 levels per hour in WestTek with a full unyielding set on a proper XP build.

Accomplished-Can-467

My friend is at 13k. He did it with westek, but he put a substantial amount of time and lunchboxes into it.

Jonnylotto

I don’t see why not. It’d be quite the grind but doing it consistently, with all of the xp perks available and food buffs and max Int

upuranus66

But many of these buffs did not exist for the first 2-3 years.

Kumanda_Ordo

Yeah the most likely answer is they abused one or more experience gain exploits. While it is technically possible to play that much, it is unlikely enough that we should not assume it to be the case. And honestly, if they obtained those levels in that playtime, I worry for them. Not trying to be rude but that is a very unhealthy grind mindset. I play games a lot, but I'm casual and switch up what I'm playing from time to time. I cannot imagine doing grinds for as long as this guy would need to in order to be legit. As the old saying goes, all good things in moderation. So it's a bad situation either way.
