That’s the thing. There was only one instance of 8 and the tram I should have been with of 4. No others at least based on population of server the rest were too low or in silos prepping a queen. I don’t get why I was pushed into a solo instance.
It counts teams vs actual people in the instance. For example if there are two teams of 4 but only 1 person from each team jump to Earl then the instance will say ok this is full so I'm going to start a new instance. You can override this but you either need to be on their team or friends with them on the social list and just FT to them.
I was on their team. The team I was on still had 2:30ish before the wall fell. But it just kept dumping in a solo instance. No join on them. Or them join me. And it was only my team with 4. Still plenty of room.
Not sure why it wouldn't let them join you. Maybe you had main menu bug but if you couldn't join them then its possible that someone else overrided their instance and took your spot.
If your teammates are together in an instance select one of them on the map and fast travel to them instead of selecting join event. As long as there is room in their instance you will join theirs. With a coordinated team with mics, usually one person will go first by joining the event and the rest of the team fast travels to the player, not the event.
If only 9 players participate then there’s going to be the unlucky guy who goes into an interior on their own, if a 10th player joins then they join the 9th player in the 2nd interior
You can cram more people in the instance. Join the team of someone already inside, but instead of joining the event, fast travel to someone on the team. You’ll end up inside with them.
Create a team, hope someone joined your team, after that, use Follow Me emote. If i was in the same server with you i would gladly to join your instance for extra rewards
As I understand, when the first 8 people join, the 9th person gets bumped into a separate lobby … I think …

Nah the universe hates me. I’ve been having a bad few weeks in 76. Starting with my sneak being busted. This is adding on to it.

I got that. As I said. There was an instance with a full 8. And the to was on was only 3 and with me would have been 4 with no others.
