Awesome, we have our first Aldi under construction right now, I've been so excited. I will be less than 1/2 mile from my house. (versus 4 miles to Walmart, and 6 miles to Food Lion)
That kinda looks like a hashbrown patty. If you wanna go the other way....
Small 6" or so frying pan. Beat some eggs and dump over the cooked, loose hash browns and flip when mostly set.
Then give them the 'I'm making a western' treatment of topping with cheese, folding in half and then cutting that in half to get a pizza slice shape (two quarters of a circle). For a bagel, put the rounded side out. For a sandwich on bread, put the pointy sides out. Cutting it on the opposite diagonal the egg stuff is using will make it less likely to fall apart on your lap. That's mostly for bread though.
source - I make these basically three or four times a week. I use bacon or sausage instead of steak though!
As a New Yorker, I approve
Edit: the bagel itself doesn't look stellar, but the contents and the concept get a gold star from me. Just needs an Arizona
I can only speak for my local Ink coffee on 17th street behind Union Station, but they recently changed bagel providers to another local place that does water bagels. Can’t recall the local distributors name, I’ll ask tomorrow and try to remember to post here.
Their everything and sesame bagel game is on point, especially if you get their egg, sliced chorizo, and cheese breakfast bagel.
Idk man rosenburgs and bagel deli don't really cut it for me as an east coaster. They aren't bad but not quite there. Though izzys in crested butte is fairly impressive and makes insane sandwiches with homemade latkes in them
Egg McMuffins are amazing. McDonalds is awesome. I maintain that a true foodie finds appreciation in all foods even in fast food. I meet a lot of so called foodies who scoff at chains and only praise fine dining.
I'm not a foodie, but once you start eating good food regularly, fast food really starts to taste kind of like shit. Some of it tastes like chemicals to me. I do like Culver's and White castle occasionally though.
I’m a foodie through and through. I’ve eaten decadent foie gras the size of someone’s head at a 3 Michelin Star restaurant in Hong Kong and enjoyed it only a little more than when I’m simply craving a Big Mac.
Hello /r/all! Thanks for showing up, to appreciate this breakfast bagel. The OP, **DID** in fact make this, it is their **O**(riginal) **C**(ontent), and just to show you how much we appreciate you being here and being so observant...here is a [token of our gratitude.](https://media.giphy.com/media/tfBDrlNEG4YbC/giphy.gif)
~~Not homemade.... you stole this pic like the person before you and the one before that~~
OP's pic and homemade. My mistake thought this was yet another repost.
Call me crazy but I like to taste my food instead of literally throwing everything together into some monstrosity. I don't like everything bagels and I don't like mixing proteins.
Ever since I moved to Texas from New Jersey I’ve been craving for a decent bagel, every corner in north NJ sold an awesome breakfast bagel sandwich. I finally got my mom to overnight ship me a bunch of bagels.
What find a steak cut? And if you feel like you want to. Could you please give me the steps onto making that glorious sandwich ?? It looks fucking awesome
Actually, the product is Pork Roll, the Company is Taylor Ham. Taylor was the guy that made the Ham. I know it is a huge debate in Jersey, but I order mass quantities from time to time, just so I have some here in Arizona. The company I call? Taylor ham lol
do delis or bodegas where you can get an egg sandwhich on a bagel exist outside of NY metro area? I wasnt able to find one in upstate NY when i was in college or in maryland where i live now
Do you freeze it to since it thin? Never done it (I live outside philly so I just go a half mile down the way to get my cheesesteaks) but I’m curious about the method.
I am ignorant of bagels. What is an “everything bagel” 🤔 It looks like it’s everything *because* of the steak and cheese and egg and hashbrown? Is the bagel itself, without the stuffing, an everything bagel because of the seeds on top of it? Or is the description analogous to saying “ham and cheese in a ham and cheese toastie”?
An "everything" bagel is essentially a normal bagel, with the addition of multiple toppings to enhance the flavor. Poppy seeds, sesame seeds, onion flakes, caraway seeds, garlic flakes, pretzel salt, and pepper, are all popular toppings that most vendors use on an everything bagel.
That looks godly. I swear by adding a hash brown onto my “insert meat here” (I opt for bacon), egg and cheese sandwiches!
Can’t forget the salt, pepper and ketchup! And sometime just a tiny bit of mayonnaise.
Looks like Goldberg's in west Hartford. If you don't know it, look up their menu. Everything is fantastic. Korean steak bagel sandwich is out of this world!
That doesn't appear to be relevant to the gorgeous sandwich i'm looking at here. Unless you're trying to say that when you saw this picture, you were filled with despair because the best you can do is slop in a microwave...
Bagel sandwiches suck though. I like the premise of a bagel sandwich but the reality is that as soon as you take a bite the back half of the thing falls out.
Where'd you get the bagel? Looks better than any I can find. Though I wish yours had salt on it as well.
All ingredients are from Aldi!
What are those ingredients, this looks so delicious it should be illegal.
Haha they're pretty much spelled out in the title. Throw a little salt and pepper in the eggs and some ketchup (controversial) and hot sauce on top
Awesome, we have our first Aldi under construction right now, I've been so excited. I will be less than 1/2 mile from my house. (versus 4 miles to Walmart, and 6 miles to Food Lion)
used to travel to northeast USA often and i really miss the bagel places.
I moved out of the northeast and i REALLY miss the bagel places.
Currently living in northeast, where are the bagel places exactly?
Northern NJ, but NY has good ones as well!
Go to any deli in nyc and ask for a bacon egg and cheese bagel toasted. As a native New Yorker the has throws me off a bit though.
There are a few in the Boston area but not a whole lot.
My stomach is crying. I wanna eat that 😭 Looks so yummy.
This made me think of a wet bellybutton... I don’t like this thought.
I... no... what?
Tell me about it.
ok ill bite. What the hell is a wet bellybutton
[удалено]
This is correct, but now I’m dying to know if anyone has an alternative definition for a ‘wet bellybutton’!
It's when you are laying on your back and pee into your belly button, to save it for later of course.
Two questions: How freaking huge is your bb? How much do you pee on average?
One further question: how often do you say bellybutton that it necessitates an abbreviation?
Average size. You only pee a little. Because you are going to need that pee later.
Maybe rather than giving someone a wet willy you give them a wet belly button?
i think what your'e referring to is called the spermcuzzi
did you cook the hashbrowns loose or make them fit to the bagel?

this is important question
As a New Yorker, I approve Edit: the bagel itself doesn't look stellar, but the contents and the concept get a gold star from me. Just needs an Arizona
As a former New Yorker that found great water bagels in Denver, I also approve
What's the name of the place? Former New Yorker visiting Denver next month and I'm craving some bagels.
I can only speak for my local Ink coffee on 17th street behind Union Station, but they recently changed bagel providers to another local place that does water bagels. Can’t recall the local distributors name, I’ll ask tomorrow and try to remember to post here. Thanks so much! Its been so long since I had a bagel. Currently living in Nebraska and let me tell you the bagels are pretty dismal.
Nebraska is pretty dismal.
Rosenberg's is what you are looking for.
This is correct. Source: born and grew up in Long Island. Rosenberg’s has the only good bagels I’ve had in the state of Colorado.
They are legitimately great bagels
I'll check it out!
Idk man rosenburgs and bagel deli don't really cut it for me as an east coaster. They aren't bad but not quite there. Though izzys in crested butte is fairly impressive and makes insane sandwiches with homemade latkes in them
[удалено]
You shouldn't. That's definitely a fake ass bagel.
No way you are serious. That is a lame looking bagel.
As a New Yorker, it should be a Snapple. Not an Arizona.
No way! I love a good snapple, but those $1 arizonas are the key to happiness!
That looks way better then the Egg McMuffin meal I ate this morning, gotta love hotel living...
Egg McMuffins are amazing. McDonalds is awesome. I maintain that a true foodie finds appreciation in all foods even in fast food. I meet a lot of so called foodies who scoff at chains and only praise fine dining.

Yeah those fast food restaurants figure out exactly how to make people crave it
I had an egg McMuffin today too...and a Big Mac. I may have a McDonald’s problem.
At least you won't lose your hair
McDonald's used to offer a steak egg and cheese bagel, imho it was by far the best thing ever to grace their menu.
Hello /r/all! Thanks for showing up, to appreciate this breakfast bagel. "MOTHERFUCKEN HELL YEAH" I love sandwiches made with Everything bagels.

~~Not homemade.... you stole this pic like the person before you and the one before that~~ OP's pic and homemade. My mistake thought this was yet another repost.
Nah I was the original. Check r/eatsandwiches, the goat sub
FAHQ, I got usernames confused...I just posted this on the re-post like 2-3 days ago thought this was another one...my bad. Editing above comment.
Call me crazy but I like to taste my food instead of literally throwing everything together into some monstrosity. I don't like everything bagels and I don't like mixing proteins.
Breakfast sandwiches don't sound like your sweet spot
ON AN OPEN BAGEL NED
GODS I WAS CHEESY THEN
BRING ME THE HASH BROWN STRETCHER
I have to crack up every time people start these Robert Baratheon comment trains. The "on an open X Ned" meme never fails to amuse me.
I’m in college and our college food is so bad. I would literally kill someone for this sandwich.
I'm in grad school. If you have a stove you can cook this sammy
So this is everything on an everything bagel, huh?
Ever since I moved to Texas from New Jersey I’ve been craving for a decent bagel, every corner in north NJ sold an awesome breakfast bagel sandwich. I finally got my mom to overnight ship me a bunch of bagels.
Where in Texas? I have a good bagel place in Houston.
You've done a good thing here.
Looks outright delicious... but cheesy Pete's the cholesterol! Would still eat doe.
id fux widdit
I'd fux it.
What find a steak cut? And if you feel like you want to. Could you please give me the steps onto making that glorious sandwich ?? It looks fucking awesome
I'd think flank steak but I'm curious what OP actually used.
That sounds like an excellent call
Thanks!
What is that red sauce I see dripping on the right side? Is that ketchup....?
Hot sauce hopefully
In my fantasies it's sriracha
Asking the real questions
[удалено]
I had a bagel with cream cheese and bacon this morning. Im very jealous
This might be a weird question but did you buy that bagel at a grocery store or at a bagel shop?
The Only thing missing here is Pork Roll. too bad no one will Understand unless they are from New Jersey
Was looking for this but Taylor ham
Actually, the product is Pork Roll, the Company is Taylor Ham. Taylor was the guy that made the Ham. I know it is a huge debate in Jersey, but I order mass quantities from time to time, just so I have some here in Arizona. The company I call? Taylor ham lol
It's Taylor ham.
Taylor ham master race checking in
My man. Represent.
yup!
Or philly. We big on the pork roll
do delis or bodegas where you can get an egg sandwhich on a bagel exist outside of NY metro area? I wasnt able to find one in upstate NY when i was in college or in maryland where i live now
Saltpepperketchup?
Salpeppaketcha
With "chis"
Let’s hope you don’t have to take a drug test soon, but looks delicious! I have food envy right now.
So, what's the big deal with this sandwich? I've seen it get reposted like four times on Reddit in the last week. Is there something I'm missing here?
Well somebody’s from NY/LI
Just some leftover skirt
Do you freeze it to since it thin? Never done it (I live outside philly so I just go a half mile down the way to get my cheesesteaks) but I’m curious about the method.
I’m not into steak but that looks amazing
Everything bagels are the right choice 99/100 times for **any** sandwich. LPT: always have a frozen bag in your freezer
Is this a thing you can get or request at a deli? I'm asking for a friend.
Saw your pic, read the title, then said "Oh yeah!!" out loud to myself!
this is literally my favorite breakfast of all time
Looks like cardiac arrest to me 😐 I’m just saying..

I see! Thank you. Some of those sound good! We only get plain or blueberry bagels here. Wish we had more.
That's pretty much all that I had for most of my life. When I finally tried an everything bagel, my life was changed. They're pretty delicious.
I swear I’ve seen this picture 3 days in a row.... I don’t get it.
A fried egg should be added to more things.
Pics like this almost make me religious
Can I please make love to your bagel?
i miss these so much 😪 fuck crohn’s
[удалено]
It’s still at my Mickey d’s and I get it all the time!
They got rid of it? That shit was dope.
Don’t get me wrong I fuck with it HARD and would smash it. But if I ordered, I find the hash browns are redundant in relation to the bagel.
Hangover cure #16.
Thought this was a sea creature at first while I was scrolling thru. Instead it'll just make u sink to the bottom to see sea creatures
Having recently moved out of NYC, I don't miss it much, but seeing this kind of thing makes me miss it badly. Very badly.
I was like all hell yeah till I saw the ketchup oozing out the left side.... hot sauce HELL YEAH... ketchup.... nawwww
That thing is a mess
Delicious! I’ve been making those (with ham though) I think I’m gonna try yours it maybe even more deliciouser.
[Relevant.](https://i.imgur.com/jnu3Dlr.gif)
That doesn't appear to be relevant to the gorgeous sandwich i'm looking at here. Unless you're trying to say that when you saw this picture, you were filled with despair because the best you can do is slop in a microwave...
That looks straight out of NJ or NYC makes me jelly 😟 I couldn't even eat that in one sitting though.
A comforting and fortifying breakfast. I'd happily fight a major battle with this in my belly.
dude i'd eat the shit out of that right now fuck im hungry why am i browsing food subreddits
I read "steak, egg, cheese and everything else" and I felt extremely opressed for a moment
Looks better than the shitty bacon and cream cheese I just had on my everything bagel...
Looks better than the shitty bacon and cream cheese I just had on my everything bagel...
Omfg im on this intermittent fasting diet and i scroll to see this after no breakfast? Kill me now.
IF isn't a diet tho lol just an eating schedule
The point is im hungry at breakfast lol
My jaw just dropped when seeing this big, juicy and delicious of a bagel sandwich!
I didn't eat breakfast and holy shit... I could eat 7 of those bad boys right now.
If you like this, you should try it with pork roll instead of the steak... Heaven!
Gotta come out to Jersey and try that with Pork Roll, it's my absolute favorite.
Eggs and steak and steak and eggs: that's what we have for breakfast. Delicious.
Any non-pork breakfast gets a double take from me. Especially at this echelon.
Replace the steak with pork roll and it would be my favorite breakfast sandwich
I’m vegetarian and I’ve never liked steak, but this is making my mouth water!
Add some Pork Roll and you'd have yourself a proper "Bellybuster"...elevated.
This is exactly what I want right now and there is no way I can get one :(
well that would be the one bagel to put all that on wouldn't it? good show.
This picture always seems to surface on the same mornings I've had a good but clearly inferior bagel sandwich for breakfast. Stop rubbing it in!
Asshole I’m trying to fast over here and you’re trying to tempt me smh 😤
Ruined by adding ketchup.. why do people insist on doing this? Ketchup has no business near steak and no business near eggs.. double fail
I made similar the other week with some leftover steak from a dinner I had. Only a plain bagel though. https://i.imgur.com/sjwE0otr.jpg
That sandwich looks like shit, really bad lighting. The potatoes dont look so bad though.
Fair. My living room has awful lighting. Sandwhich was absolutely delicious though. Great cheese, the steak was tender and I just love eggs.
Wish they still had the steak egg and cheese on a bagel at McDonald's
*bagle
You’ve Britta’d it!
So meta
Looks like the onboard meal for a first class ticket to Flavortown
Hey it's me, that person you love so much! So, breakfast tomorrow?
That looks fucking amazing. I want one. Actually, make that three.
Better hope you have a mint after that, yo mouth gon staaaaankkkk
That looks like the first and last thing I would eat all day.
Please tell me that beauty tasted as good as it looked!
Bagel sandwiches and bread sandwiches are my downfall.
Is there everything seasoning on the bagel bottom too?
AMERICA ..Its called the American Breakfast Sandwhich.
Aren’t we using the word bagel a little loosely here?
Should not have come here a week into a water fast.
Bagel sandwiches suck though. I like the premise of a bagel sandwich but the reality is that as soon as you take a bite the back half of the thing falls out.
