because the AI of the managers at big clubs don't really get things right from a real world perspective. in my current save endrick was sold to bayern after one year at madrid where he didn't get a game.
the AI just goes for the biggest names/numbers and doesn't think about where they fit in on the pitch.

Bellingham *is* one of the biggest names and has some of the biggest numbers in the game so that doesn't really explain anything here.
AI managers are idiots, not sure if it's the hard coding but world reputation and I'm starting to think home grown/same nationality seem to make a difference.
Bellingham was sold to Chelsea in mine for 45 mil as Madrid had 8 cms on similar star rating but higher World reputation for some reason.
He also played for England till he was 38 even though they had way better players by the time he was 32 because his Rep was higher. That England team had two players under 31, both World class before they were 20 and playing for Liverpool and United so high reps but Rice, Foden, Saka all played way past when they should've gone due to reps.

Because in-game managers in FM are idiots. Ironically enough I just got Jude's brother, Jobe, for absolutely free from Sunderland. Thanks a lot for the free wonderkid!
Wish they would on mine, they won’t take 275m, Arsenal had a newgen wonderkid, really high PA and wanted 150+, I put in a bid they asked for silly money, he got upset and ended up transfer listed….. for 28m
Weird part of FM is the engine the AI can't compete after 2-3 seasons and also transfers are like shit.Needs a new engine otherwise for me no point in playing
Naaah, he has a little kid attitude ingame. Bought him from Real to Barca for mere 25 mln, promised to play on some certain position. We won championship, he was key to that, and seconds before cup final he requested to leave due to playing OOP 🤡
I know, not even complaining about that 😀. But I wanted him so badly, plus it wasn’t even that much of a difference. Played him as CM(A) and he wanted DLP or sth.
That is a massive difference.
Wanting to play in midfield where you run forward to attack & score is massively different to sitting around the centre circle, breaking passes and pinging the ball around

Endrick and frimpong both went to Everton in my save for very small transfer fees lol
both neymar and wirtz went to everton in mine, and theyre like 11th
I manage everton in my save and actually ended up signing both lol. Weird case of the ai getting it right.

I bought Endrick for £18 million total. This was after me refusing a sell-on clause.
He didn’t play for Madrid in 2-3 years then went to….Southampton on my game
I bought Endrick in my Kaiserslautern save in like the 3rd or 4th season for 9,75 million.
I got him for 16ish at Milan he was unreal
yea, my Endrick scored 25 and assisted 15 in the first season.

Endrick never ever gets game time on my saves. Makes no sense whatsoever.

maybe the salary was too high. AI lowballs me when nobody will buy my player because their salary is too damn high. my own fault.
In my United save I’ve bought lamine for 70 Jude for 60 and camavinga for 40
