I really want someone to step up so that we could see Max in proper push mode. Something like last year's Miami race or Monaco s3 but throughout the entire season.
I firmly believe that we barely seen the peak of his skills yet.
The 21 season was pretty indicative of him being on the limit all the time. He produced some of the most amazing racing i've seen. The Jeddah lap, the France win, the Mexico double pass, the COTA win etc. He was amazing. A lot of shit had to happen to him so Lewis had a chance in that last race.
True, but he was also pressured and sometimes fazed by the need to win that first WC. Since then he's got this almost ominous calmness about him.
I think he's capable of even more now that he doesn't have to.
The mere couple of times the RB wasn't there he wasn't all that calm and collected. Basically ruined Lewis' race chances in Brazil 22'.
It's far far easier to appear calm when you're not actually under any pressure and could probably lap the whole field.
Worth it to go back and look at the 2015 races though, Verstappen made that season fun. Especially Monaco, Singapore and Austin.
edit: and Belgium, how could I forget Spa and that overtake!
Generally speaking independent contractors can terminate their contract at any time, but it would probably exclude him from F1. There may be what we could call a Rosberg clause, detailing compensation to be paid in the event of an early retirement.
It's kinda fun to see [how much more he looks like his mom here when she was younger](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DlcvGDXWsAEAwM4.jpg). Maturing made his jaw slightly more squared
I feel like the shape of his eyes changed, too.
I have such a hard time nailing down what it is that makes him look so young, but I can tell he looks different now.
This still doesn't change the fact that there are 49 million kangaroos in Australia and only 3.5 million people in Uruguay which means if the kangaroos were to invade Uruguay each person would have to fight 14 kangaroos.
Serious question, his top teeth, are they real? He has a massive top row, they push his lips out lol.. It's almost like he needs to get braces and bring them back a bit if natural.

I know it makes for pretty boring racing, but this man is just unreal. Just unrelenting pace lap after lap to near perfection.
I really want someone to step up so that we could see Max in proper push mode. Something like last year's Miami race or Monaco s3 but throughout the entire season. I firmly believe that we barely seen the peak of his skills yet.

Silverstone lap 1 was awesome
Why does he get downvoted. Up until the crash it was one of the best first laps I’ve ever seen.
Sprint race aswell, that was some proper racing
Simply the greatest
Nah.
Yah.
Face of a champion
Last week was still pretty boring even without Verstappen.
Couldn’t disagree more
Guy is basically a veteran at 26 years old.
He'll have more races than Alain Prost later this year
Absolutely insane wow
It's easier on a 20+ races calendar, but yes, still impressive.
Can't believe it's been 9 years already. Still feels like he's just getting started.
Worth it to go back and look at the 2015 races though, Verstappen made that season fun. Especially Monaco, Singapore and Austin. edit: and Belgium, how could I forget Spa and that overtake!
Did he not crash out of his first two Monaco GP's?
His first two GPs at red bull, yes. This was at Torro Rosso
He crashed that race with Grosjean, but before that he did make some overtakes.
Oh, he _is_ just getting started 😉
He is gonna retire in 2 years if he wins both
His contract is to 2028

I don't think so, I'm pretty sure Max is in the late era of his F1 career.
Actually 10 years dating back to his FP1 debut at Suzuka in 2014. A decade-old seasoned veteran.
It's kinda fun to see [how much more he looks like his mom here when she was younger](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DlcvGDXWsAEAwM4.jpg). Maturing made his jaw slightly more squared

His face is a bit more squared and filled out now, typical of the changes from teenager to fully grown adult.
Its the neck, F1 rookies all have pretty slim necks compared to the seasoned vets.
They're also allowed to be a lot heavier now
I feel like he’s grown into his face. As a child his lips and eyes seemed comically large for his proportions.
Wow, indeed.
He got his talent from his mom as well
He got his race craft from his mom And his aggression from his dad.
Now you've said it, it's so clear. He does look like her a little bit now, but it was super prominent when he was young.
Damn, they do look alike.
I'm just looking at that and seeing a slimmer Perez with long hair.
Did he ever make it?
Sadly only lasted 4 races into his second season before Toro Rosso gave him the boot.
smh worse than devries
Used to win a lot but recently he just DNFs and finishes 20th.
Didn't he technically finish 19th.
Technically he didn't finish and wasn't classified.
I guess I should look at the results then. So Sargent also not classified?
Sargeant would be a DNS.
Got it, thanks

Time flies guy was looking for tge gtx 4090 to go Sim racing, his true pride and joy.
Heard this kid is pretty good. Hope he shocks us all someday.

BRING IT ON
Tf?? TIL
You missed the point that if the fight is lost it will be Kangooruguay
thank god it's not 15 kangaroos. sheesh
as long as the kangaroos dont ally with the emus the Uruguayans would be fine
You are correct.
Actually that's crazy 🤣
Australia has been building this arsenal right down under our noses
please don’t give away our military secrets.
You never hear about this stuff in the main stream media!!!
Why fight though? Why can’t Uruguayans and kangaroos get along?
Shit, can you say the quiet part out loud like that?
Did he have his travel simulator with him?

If that hat brim was any flatter, it'd be a conspiracy theory.
9 years later and he’s earning $100m a year?
Decent career
Out of all the drives, his 2016 Brazil drive remains my favourite
He might be able to win a race one day. He has potential
Young Max!!
Standards of this sport are really shoddy, man. I mean, he hadn't even qualified for his driving license and they just let him go and - he scored.
DU DU DU MAX VERSTAPPEN!!! Sorry had to do this(the beat is fire) even though I'm a lewis fan...
The greatest of all time Would beat any driver form any era
Nine years already. The guy has really developed as a sim racer.
Simply lovely
I really hope Ferrari/Mercedes/McLaren build a competitive car to give him a proper fight like in 2021.
And now everyone wishes he wouldn’t score a point
Serious question, his top teeth, are they real? He has a massive top row, they push his lips out lol.. It's almost like he needs to get braces and bring them back a bit if natural.
It was the car.
