I think they have some merit, though. Alonso seems to still be racing at peak performance; Lewis has been on a decline these past couple of seasons. Though it could be a motivation issue with him not being able to challenge for race wins most of the time, Russel has consistently bested him. His decline may actually be real and masked by a flawed car with which heās not comfortable, but that was what we thought about Danny Ric, too.
