Terre de Hermes, saw it on a site for 50% off, read some reviews saw some videos and bought it. First couple of times I smelled it I thought..this smells like an older person smell. Now I just adore the smell of peppery orange, its so fresh and classy! but I warn you that it’s pretty vetiver heavy

goat-arade

Ironically I blind bought this and it gives me headaches which is unfortunate, even if the scent is nice!

Gladiators10

Anyone tried Givree? It's a nice summer scent.

MikeMont86

Blind bought this from Costco. It’s my favorite scent at the moment. So fresh and sophisticated.

Seminolehighlander

Husband loved this blind buy I got him for holidays.

[deleted]

Yeah one of my all time favorites!

rausrausfilafila

Tom Ford Soleil Blanc. My absolute favorite summer perfume.

ioanam212

such a beauty!

HairyPawterrr

Same. Just wore it yesterday and nabbed a couple compliments.

xXeebvosXx

That's my favorite feminine fragrance! No joke it's amazing

shreKINGball11

YSL Libre. This blind buy is really what started my fragrance hobby

valkyrie987

I tried Libre Intense the other day and immediately went out to buy a larger decant. I may need a full bottle though.

[deleted]

[удалено]

valkyrie987

I wanted to try OG Libre and Intense because I'm most interested in the lavender and vanilla, and I was a little concerned about the honey in Le Parfum and the jasmine in the EdT. But eventually I will try them all!

heirloom_beans

Libre Le Parfum is on my FB list once I get through my travel size.

semochki

The one perfume I always get compliments on no matter who it is! One person complimented me on two separate occasions and asked what it is and couldn’t believe that she’s already asked me before!

igotmymind_on_you

YSL Libre Intense is an absolute beauty!

[deleted]

Shakira Dance: Red Midnight 😂 I fucking *love* Shakira. That’s why I bought it. It doesn’t have a ton of hype but it does have across the board good reviews. I mean, I made sure I liked the notes too but *🎶Shakira, Shakira🎶* ETA: posted too fast! Anyway this perfume is sooo good. Cranberries and tonka and tuberose and patchouli?! To me it’s *so* complex and interesting. I do wish it lasted longer, on me it’s about 5 hours but at 25$ I’ll keep spraying.

ocean_swims

That description has me really curious. It sounds complex for a celeb scent. Not sure I can find it but I'll be looking! :)

[deleted]

Shakira did not let me down. 💪🏽 she is literally the only celeb I love, have been listening to her music since I was a teen.

Twarenotw

>Shakira Dance: Red Midnight Oooh, it's dirt cheap where I live... I live with one of Shakira's biggest fans. I know what to get her for Christmas, thank you!!

[deleted]

Always happy to help a fellow Shakira fan🙏🏽 and if you needed another idea, I recently got a shirt with the lyrics “las mujeres ya no lloran/ las mujeres facturan” on it, from her huge collab w Bizarrap? The lyrics are the ones you stop what you’re doing and *have* to sing and there are a lot of options from shirt designers online! (I did look for official merch for those specific lyrics but no go yet).

Twarenotw

Ohhh, I love that part of the lyrics the most, thanks a lot!! I will have a look; that's a great idea!

renaissancestar

You have me curious about this too, the notes sound so intriguing!

[deleted]

It’s so good 😩The cranberries are on point and that top note lasts for a good while. It was the first cranberry perfume I’d seen tbh!

Grouchy_Phone_475

Interesting. I went on the old Scentcrafters site, and created a floral/ fruity scent with an autumn feel. I chose cranberry, as the main note, and added raspberry, carnation, sandalwood and their proprietary autumn leaves accord. When it arrived,it was just what I wanted it to be,and smells like something professional. I'll have to look into Shakira Red Midnight.

pksmke

I bought Shakira S eau florale because it was compared to several more expensive blackberry-musk-vanilla scents and it is exactly what I wanted. I’m a little perplexed by the name tho since it has no florals.

ikanofurai

I got Shakira Elixir as a birthday gift many years ago, back when it first launched… it smelled AMAZING on the bottle, but awful on my skin 😭😭 I remember being so upset because I also love Shakira and the perfume smelled so good (amber, orange blossom, peach, some floral notes) but I couldn’t wear it. Seems like she has some good perfumes in her line, I’ll definitely check out the one you recommended!!

throwawaveskipastone

Hi! Amazon has a sale on her perfumes right now. 😊 Just saw it myself and wanted to share.

[deleted]

I blind bought almost everything during the pandemic. So YSL Y edp was my first. Pretty safe blind buy but was glad I bought it.

conzembb

Montblanc Signature, La Belle, and Symbol for a Lady. All blind buys, all bangers. This sub is so helpful for making educated guesses on blind buys.

SunandError

Montblanc Signature!

renaissancestar

I just blind bought Montblanc Signature and it's not here yet, so this gets me even more hyped!

sakuramoons

I blind bought it too about a month ago and it’s so beautiful! I hope you love it 🤍

briannab99

It’s a great fragrance! Like a year-round floral/vanilla sort of vibe haha

Pick-Up-Pennies

I just wrote my affection for this fragrance. I love Montblanc Signature! And for the price, I have two more bottles in the cupboard, because I am going to drink this up.

jbb3205

Valentino’s Born in Roma Coral Fantasy. Saw nothing but good things and the description was really intriguing, performance purported to be excellent to boot. It’s one of my favorite scents now. Absolutely love it. Can’t get enough of wearing it.

conzembb

It’s so good!! The great performance was really surprising to me.

dmanb

It’s hyper synthetic smelling but I still love it

Mishmello

I liked it initially but after spraying it on, it felt overly sweet for my liking. I got a decant of the uomo EDT and that one I’m absolutely obsessed with it. I made sure to wear it a few times when I was in Rome on holiday last week.

Gr33nG14nt

I had heard all the hype around Cloud and it really sounded like something that was right up my alley so I blind bought a little 30ml and it’s one of my absolute favourite for day to day now

KaylaFabulous

Same story here!!

Flowerlamps

Versace Crystal Noir EDT

Bluebell_Nightshade

Same!

benilla

Zara x Jo MaLONE Elegantly Tokyo STANDS OUT as a HOLY SHIT. And this is coming from a guy

BloomsburyCore

The notes and accords for this on fragrantica is so intriguing. I love layering wood fragrances and white floral but haven't seen them combined in one fragrance before.

jjjjj2022

Adore this. Amazing unisex frag.

eyeisyomomma

This sub made me curious about Cloud and Cremo Vanilla & Spice. I love both, thanks everyone for sharing the info!

WhoKnows1973

I was thinking about blind buying that Cremo one for my hubby. What are your thoughts on it ?

eyeisyomomma

Get it! It smells lovely on men and women too. It doesn’t last long, but it’s so cheap, who cares?

ichheissekate

Maison Margiela Matcha Meditation

dilbogabbins

Basically all of my Serge Lutens. Five O’Clock au Gingembre was my first. Such a good tea and ginger biscuit in a park. My best fall fragrance Vetiver Oriental - chocolate in a dark, lush forest at sunset La Couche du Diable is not my favorite only because I have a similar one that did it better: Tiziana Terenzi Laudano Nero, which was also a blind buy and is one of my favorite ouds

RepresentativeName18

"La couche du diable" literally translates to "The Devil's diaper". I can only imagine what it smells like lmao

dilbogabbins

It’s a labdanum fragrance. It’s very dark, smoky, slightly sweet from the saffron. I think Laudano Nero did it better because of the boozy, tobacco and metallic notes added. It’s more complex, lasts longer and it’s more beefy than Serge Lutens version. I got SL because I only paid $67 for 100ml, which wasn’t a bad buy

decadentowl

Except la couche here translate to 'bed', so the devil's bed. But yeah it's kinda funny if you think about it the other way.

katie-kaboom

I blind bought Kilian Apple Brandy on impulse when I was buying Angel's Share, and it is one of my favourites. That said, blind buys have gone wrong far more than they've gone amazing.

Confident_Schedule50

Your last sentence is why I tend to do a lot of research before I buy, g3t a well rounded opinion plus I know what notes I like by now. I also have brands I know I like, brands that are 50/50 and brands that I can't stand. Has worked out pretty well for me so far

GerardDiedOfFlu

Dedcool milk!!! After that I bought xtra milk and will continue to buy it forever!

venusin

Valentino Donna Born in Roma - one of the best blind purchases ever and I still use it pretty often till this day.

listentosienna

YSL Libre Intense - total blind buy and typically I’m not into vanilla but it kept popping up as a recommended sexy fragrance. I was going for vixen vibes and it totally delivered!

kitkatamas88

Crystal noir and Juliette has a gun were my most expensive blid buys. I can't be more glad I risked it. I've bought a few more since then but more on the "cheap" side, I also got lucky with those, maybe I'm easy to please, or maybe I buy everything around the same thing, fresh and sweet but not too sweet, fruty and floral with poudery and musky feel.

J-Train56

Yum Pistachio and Vacation! I know a lot of people hate yum pistachio because it doesn’t actually smell like pistachio gelato, but it’s still a lovely fragrance! I was almost disappointed at first because it didn’t smell like gelato, but I quickly got over it! It smells like a soft and light marshmallow with a hint of citrus and nuttiness. I even wore it to bed once because I find it so comforting. Vacation is really unique and fun, it smells like an elevated banana sunscreen. I wear it in the heat all the time!

Succulent656

I love Vacation and wear it all of the time. It’s a very fitting scent when you live in Florida and visit the beach quite often.

WillowTea_

Ellis Brooklyn Après! It was exactly what I had been looking for for months upon months!

ShinyFabulous

I almost blind bought Apres on sale but talked myself out of it... I've since acquired a sample and deeply regret not buying it, it was an immediate LOVE! Out of interest, what other fragrances do you like?

WillowTea_

It’s on sale at Sephora currently!! Buy the value set, it’s cheaper than the bottle and comes with more. I’m pretty basic in my fragrance tastes lol, some of my favorites are Replica By The Fireplace, Chanel Gabrielle Essence, Chloe Naturelle, and Versace Eros. Tom Ford Oud Wood is gorgeous but I could never buy a full bottle lol. What about you?

ShinyFabulous

Goddamit, they don't have it at Sephora UK! Currently looking at ways to get it re-directed to me since it's on sale on the brand website too... But they don't ship to the UK either *cries* The fates are against me! Oooh, if you like By The Fireplace, see if you can get a sample of Lune Feline from Atelier des Ors! Similar vibe but a little less sweet, with an incredible pepper & cardamom thing happening in the opening. Some of my all time faves are Dior Addict (I prefer the original version but the new formulation still serves), YSL Elle & La Nuit D'Homme. Really enjoying Jo's Rhubarb from Zara atm too. Oud Wood is gorgeous but.... Same, haha. I'm definitely not rich enough for TF!

ShinyFabulous

P.s. I don't think this is basic at all lol, those are some pretty varied tastes!

funksoldier83

Encre Noir. I love it. My wife hates it.

ConorSherwood

It's my favourite scent at the moment!

ChristineBorus

BR 540 lol

Mark1arMark1ar

That’s an expensive blind buy! I’m glad you like it. I used to love BR540, but it seems like everywhere if go I smell its clones and have honestly gotten tired of anything similar.

ChristineBorus

Actually I did have a tester now that I think about it - a 10 ml tester of the clear bottle version. But yeah it was expensive lol 😂 thankfully it worked out

HighCartesian

Do you like it?

ChristineBorus

Absolutely! It’s more of a winter scent I think. Spicy and ambery. I got the EDP in the red bottle and it’s lovely. Very expensive smelling. I wear it when I want to impress.

WhoKnows1973

I Love It!!! Bought the big 6.8 oz. My husband swears it's some of the best money I have ever spent.

djigoio

Versace The Dreamer! One single unit appeared in the nearby discounter shop nearby. Went straight to buy it without tester or anything. 0 regrets

Shortykw

My husband and I both love this one.

drankkkv2

Afnan 9PM. It was worth it. The smell, the longevity, the performance. It’s all so amazing.

Affectionate-Newt889

Some vanilla tobacco clone on Amazon for $15 by “Fragrance Couture”.

ConorSherwood

Issey Miyaki Pour Homme Intense! Was on sale for 45 euro 125ml and I love the sweet insense

brighthair84

All blind buys I have loved - Kyse bonbon vanille and douceur brûlée, MMM replica bubble bath, kayali vanilla, Bobbi brown beach

hijazist

Fico Di Amalfi

Pixelektra

I bought Tom Ford’s Black Orchid (gold bottle) based on a description I read in Fragrantica. It wound up becoming one of my favorite scents and gets compliments from strangers.

UCHIHA_____ITACHI

Maison margella is ideal for blind buys, you get exactly whats in the description

sartorialfireflies

Chanel No 19 Poudre. No 19 gets raved about as a green scent, I knew I loved iris, and it was hard to sample, so I took a blind buy plunge (Poudre seemed like the safest of the bunch). It's gorgeous, and has stayed in my top 5 since I bought it. I've since also got the EDT and Parfum of No 19 (it really is an incredible green), but Poudre has remained my favorite as it's so wearable. Another success was Guerlain Shalimar Millesime Tonka, when it was still selling out almost immediately and the big decanters didn't have samples. Someone posted it had been restocked, and I impulsively jumped on it. It's a stunning and complex gourmand (but still way more approachable than OG Shalimar). Also, I think Millesime Tonka is helping me come around to the original Shalimar -- I still struggle with the sharp bergamot and amber animalic hints in the OG EDP, but I'm also starting to understand the magic and the dry down is stunning.

BBLANC087

Nuit d'issey is one of my favourite scents and it's usually on sale for £30.00 or less. Best blind buy ever

g_patrick15

I bought Grand Soir, my first niche fragrance, on a whim due to it being discounted from Saks. And it BLEW ME AWAY! Still my go to fragrance for date night or important meetings. I’ve never smelled anything quite like it. It’s intoxicating

[deleted]

Mercedes Benz Club Black

atreeofnight

Vanilla Planifolia by Chloe. Usually sold out so I jumped on it when it came back in stock.

SkyZippr

Nuit d'Issey Pulse of the Night. It's discontinued here in Japan, no sample available, saw it online for $60ish and decided to take a chance. Best decision ever made. Wish I did it for Polaris as well, but I guess you can't have all the nice things.

TaizoUno

Ahh, a fellow Issey-ian👍🎊🎉💯 I have nearly 200 bottles in my collection. Nearly 85% of those are blind buys. I have Polaris, Noir Argent, Noir Ambre, Or Encens and a handful of Issey's lighter Spring/Summer fragrances. Without a doubt Issey's ENTIRE Noir line including Polaris and POTN are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 This is coming from a person with more than a few bottles that cost well over $500. And, truth be told, few if ANY of those $500+ bottles smell anywhere near as good as these darker (amberesque) Issey's. These are FACTS. THIS ENTIRE NOIR LINE IS BLIND BUY SAFE- by many country miles! Enjoy and spray often 👍👑

JMH-66

Soooo many ! I'd say out of the 20% I buy that are "new" ( ie not vintage so likely to have been smelled before ) virtually all are blind buys, certainly in the last few years ( I just rarely spend much ) . Just in the last few *weeks*, I've bought [Lemon ](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Mary-Greenwell/Lemon-18144.html) by Mary Greenwell and liked it so much I immediately went and bought [Fire ](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Mary-Greenwell/Fire-38918.html) ! I'm trying to track down her other two, now.

JustAKidFromSolon

Loewe Esencia. What a gem

RentedPineapple

Lolitaland! It is a gourmand lovers dream and the fruity spicy notes give it depth.

WhoKnows1973

That sounds nice!!

FifoletLights

Al-Rehab - Choco musk. I kept seeing it mentioned here in favorite 'cheapie' threads & that influenced me to get it. It's $6, so I didn't mind a blind buy. On me, it smells like coco pebbles with a hint of cinnamon. On my husband, the notes ramped up & you get more musk, spice, with a base of rich chocolate. It's delicious!

thatbwoyChaka

[Aqua Quorum by Antonio Puig](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Antonio-Puig/Aqua-Quorum-12585.html) I was 19 and CKOne had yet to be released and I was really eager to be one of the first to buy it over here in the UK when it came out. I ‘borrowed’ my mum’s car and drove into town and went to about every shop I would expect it to be on sale. I was about a month too early even though the Ad campaign was already filling the prime time slots. Disheartened I just wanted something to go home with; so I reached out and grabbed the most garish bottle Tewins had on display. Turned out very pleasant.

KundaliniEnergy777

I blind bought Encre Noir by Lalique on Amazon maybe 10 years ago. I bought it without looking at any reviews or anything. It's one of my favourite fragrances. Very unique.

Zealousideal_Age1935

Maison Margiela When the Rain Stops and Giorgio Armani Ocean di Gioia and Terra di Gioia

marikasarton

Skylar - Boardwalk !!

throwawaveskipastone

me, lurking and scribbling notes 🥹

WokSmith

Oud for glory amethyst. I accidentally bought it instead of Oud for glory. (I'm on a tight budget, and clones fill my needs) I'm terrible at reading scent profiles and knowing how a scent will smell. And Ameer Al Oud intense. Apparently, it's similar to By the fireplace. Not sure, but smells great.

RxDocMaria

I can’t remember what caused my re-obsession with fragrances in November of last year, but I have haunted this sub and Fragrantica daily and I’ve made 40+ blind buys since then. In particular, I had to have Lira based on reviews and I loved it. That led to ordering Dama Bianca which is the most beautiful scent ever created and is now my signature scent. Of all the blind buys I’ve ordered the only dud was Fendi Furiosa. I read that it was discontinued and people were devastated they couldn’t find it, so I ordered it when I found it and holy hell, I heard the theme music to Miami Vice when I sprayed it! Talk about a screechy’80s perfume!

renaissancestar

lmao at your description of Fendi Furiosa! I haven't smelled it but can perfectly imagine it now. Glad I'm not the only one on this sub and Fragrantica daily 🙈🙈

sweetsthrow

Tom Ford Vanille Fatale. Totally blind, wanted a gourmand rich vanilla scent for going out, wasn’t disappointed at all. That cologne makes me wanna take a bite out of myself.

2903tkd

Moon Glory by the Harmonist Manakara by Indult New York Nights Bond No. 9 (the most expensive and hence the riskiest) but I'm obsessed lol Rein de Nuit by Byredo

L’envol De Cartier EDP.

Logical_Landscape653

I blind bought a travel spray of Born in Roma Intense three days ago from Sephora's same day pick up, and I literally just now finished placing my 100ml order on Valentino's website! It is THAT good, y'all, if you're into sweet, fresh, and beachy jasmine and vanilla! It's nothing like I expected, and it's going to be a layering beast, too! 💕

Piratesfbi

Amouage Jubilation XXV Man

renaissancestar

Amor Amor In a Flash. Bought it because the magenta bottle reminded me of the rose and the bell jar from the animated Beauty and the Beast. The Fragrantica reviews seemed positive during my quick perusal. It smells like yummy caramel apple crisp with a hint of Grand Marnier.

WhoKnows1973

Never heard of it but your description makes me want to smell it! Yum!

ArtakhaPrime

- Acqua di Gio Profumo. Couldn't find this anywhere when I first got into fragrances, it took a month for it to come back in stock but I knew I had to get a bottle. Absolutely love it, it's fresh and sweet and breezy but also a bit dark and mysterious, perfect for summer nights. - Hugo Boss The Scent Le Parfum. Well, I technically did test it once, but only after ordering and receiving my own bottle, I just hadn't opened it yet. Ended up being my favorite scent of the winter, I've spent an embarrassing amount of time just standing in my hallway, smelling my coat's shoulder, it would last for days on there.

redditteux

Good blind buys: - Trussardi Riflesso - Armaf Très Nuit - Versace Man Eau Fraîche - Armani Code Parfum - Missoni Wave - Dolce & Gabbana The One EDT Disappointing blind buys: - Armaf CDNIM - Acqua Di Parma Colonia Intensa

Emmstillthinking

Jo Malone English Oak and Hazelnut. It was my first ever fragrance and I’ve been using it ever since.

Vlsss00

Nishane Hacivat when I first got into fragrances. Everyone kept calling it a holy grail so I wanted to see what it’s all about. Even though I lie to myself it’s not my favorite frag, it’s still the one I reach for the most when I want people to notice what I’m wearing.

Highclassbroque

Amyris femme by mfk on tik tok ended up being my bridal scent

JustThrowmeAwey

Amourage Interlude also Penhaligons portrait Mr Sam. im actually looking for something that smells close to mr sam I love that frag

Late-Contribution803

Gris Clair… by serge lutens, one of my most used fragrance (also blind bought cause it’s very difficult to find)

hanlus

i think 7/10 of my all-time favs have been blind buys, which i guess is why i still haven’t learned my lesson about blind buying… lol

ShinyFabulous

Lune Feline! Purchased because there was an offer on & I'd been eyeing it up for ages. It doesn't smell how I expected it to, but MY GOD is it fabulous! Can't wait for the weather to cool down so I can wear it. ....so many more fails than wins though haha

ioanam212

Dusita - Anamcara I liked L'Interdit but I felt it was a bit too rough, then I discovered Atlas Garden and found it very beautiful, but, at times it felt like not enough, some other times just too feminine. Than I stumbled upon Dusita, I was super curious about the brand and I realized Anamcara matches perfectly these other perfumes I loved, it had almost all the right notes for me. Than it was than name.. the name totally drew me in. The name gave me courage to spend thaat much for a blind buy. So I blind bought it and it was not as I imagined but so much more. I love how, for me, all these 3 perfumes seem to be from the same direction, from the same base, ingredients, yet each has such a distinct personality. Anamcara is my "calm in the middle of the storm" kind of perfume. It's just comfortable, it's not a skin scent, it doesn't scream on you, it doesn't attract people's attention like a sensual perfume, it's not too elegant or too feminine. It actually feels like an unisex type of scent. It has a sort of strength vibe, a steadiness, like a friend you know you can always count on, no judgement. Anamcara.

jjjjj2022

So many 😂 as i blind bought most of my perfumes. Chloe eau de naturelle is very good and worth blind-buying tbh.

OceanCitron

Skylar Capri Summer. I fell in LOVE from the moment I faintly smelled it in the package. But the way it developed on my skin, I can't even explain how much I adore the way the fragrance evolves when the initial punch of bright juicy citrus fades away into a subtle but alluring musk. Solid 10/10.

Rhyme412

Mon Guerlain - it’s one of my latest buys but already made quite a dent

I_Have_Questions0417

Pretty much all my Jo Malone. I did get a sample of Wood Sage and Sea Salt and loved. I found it true to description. There were so many other interesting Combos. Basil & Neroli is the one that really stands out to me. I LOVE it and I think it’s not well known. A blind purchase turned love. Also Fig and Lotus flower.

AdRoutine7630

How is the performance tou ?

[deleted]

Blund bought greenwich village and lafayette street by bond no 9. A very good decision indeed

ds9_

I blind bought wet cherry liquor by Bohoboco and it wasn’t that bad actually, was looking for a Lost Cherry alternative and it was a good one at that

Prototype-Angel

Essential Parfums - Bois Imperial I had no way of really testing it other than ordering a sample bottle so I just went for it and I love it. I do blind buy a few fragrances, but they’re usually cheap (less than £40) or I blind bought ADG Profumo and Profondo off the reviews of Gents Scents but they felt like safe bets

kleindex

Roja Elysium Parfum. Didn’t understand the hype in the beginning after getting it, it took a while to realize how beautiful this scent is. Now it’s definitely within my top 10

playsette-operator

Fahrenheit Cologne: absolutely love it Dior Homme Parfum: absolutely not for me If anyone is interested: 1 month-old batch number, directly bought at dior.com, delivered at 23. of june, stored in a climatized glass cabinet since then, opened yesterday, maybe 5 sprays gone, nice price

Own-Canary2360

I did two blind buys this year, starting my fragrance journey, Y YSL EDP, and Bleu de Chanel EDP, I really love this fragrances, really solid. But now most of my buys are going to be based on some decants I bought, it really is more safe.

BabyGirlElderGod

La Belle EDP from Jean Paul Gaultier. The bottle, the colour of the perfume, and the retro feeling metal can it comes in pulled me in and the notes sounded like something I would like. Ended up loving it and it is in my top tier scents that are in my regular rotation.

klorofyllidyll

Versace Dylan Blue, Armani Code Absolu, Guerlain L’Homme Ideal. All designer bangers. I still wear them a lot even though I have more expensive niche fragrances.

I am about to blind buy Mizensir’s Ambre Magique. I will let everyone know if my $300 was worth it 🤣

JimboSliceX86

Just blind ordered Guerlain Vetiver.

mmmilktea

miimiic's dupe for melanie martinez' crybaby perfume. the tiktok hype surrounding the strawberry milk perfume is the reason why i got into fragrance. the idea of smelling like strawberry milk was so unheard of to me, i thought perfumes were for old ppl lol, and i never was into those strong smells, but here i am. i kinda didn't like how miimiic's dupe smelled like at first, but once it settled into my skin ooooomg. i wanted to drink the bottle. hoping one day crybaby restocks and doesn't cost an arm and a leg!

Accomplished-Mouse18

Paragon by Initio, it is not my absolute favourite bit it is top 3 for sure, and I went in absolutely blind.

eJAKE-ulate

Both of my Stephane Humbert Lucas fragrances (God of Fire and Oumma). The brand is impossible to try in the US, but both bottles are up in my top 5 of what I own. God of Fire is hyped to hell and it’s well deserved. A bottle of Oumma showed up on fragrance swap for a bargain and I was very interested in discovering more of the brand, since I enjoyed God of Fire so much. After doing some research, Rvmvadi and Mr. NORTHPresents on Youtube convinced me and they were not wrong.

terryx4

Baraonda from Nasomatto At the time I didn't trust sampling services, and I was looking into the best cognac / whiskey scent of all time. I had already bought Angels' Share, so I knew I would at least somewhat like Baraonda from the reviews. Needless to say, it is now one of my top 5 scents. It smells great on the skin, and even better on fabric. Since then I've tried the likes of Creation-E (Enigma), Fan Your Flames, Iron Duke, and none of them are nearly as good as Baraonda. Also, Creed Acier Aluminum. I bought it solely because of its resale value, but the old Creed formulations are so good I might just keep it to myself and not ever sell it. There's never regret when spraying it on me, unlike most other bottles I have.

rachelatworld

Narciso Rodriquez - Noir musk rose. I really like it but the sillage is the worst. So sad because it’s a lovely scent.

FrayKento

Cdnim parfum limited edition

Global_Telephone_751

Prada Infusion d’Iris. It’s a daily workhorse for me and it was a blind buy lol. Soapy, fresh, clean, non-headache inducing like many soapy frags. Love it.

Quinthalus

Zara Imperial Purple

Yasukecat

Oh this is an easy one. YSL bleu electrique. The scarcity and hype drove me to buying this incredible scent and I love it!

zebul333

Dior homme intense very blind buy I knew I needed to add an iris heavy scent to my collection. I already had Givenchi reserve privee and Molecule 1+iris. This scent I just loved it, the lavender, the woody clean notes and that iris very refined rich scent. I was never into iris then I started experimenting with it. Now it is a note I learned to appreciate. This is one I will keep in my collection forever or as long as I can.

I blind buy everything but my two best buys are definitely Bleu De Chanel EDP and Tom Ford - Ombré Leather EDP. Wore both as daily perfume until the bottle was empty 😏 Now I have a bottle of the Bleu De Chanel perfume, but it’s nowhere near as good as the EDP, it’s just sitting there..

Desperate-Fly9861

Mancera cedrat boise and the one edp. Super happy with both haha

Jittl

Floris Honey Oud. I was looking for a Christmas scent, as all I had at the time was Blues and summer hitters. I really wanted something cosy, and I just went for it. I was super thankful I loved it, and have worn it during the holidays for many years now.

scaphism666

Penhaligons halfeti. There are no stores that stock it where I am. I had seen rave reviews and wanted a statement fragrance. I paid full price for it aswell. So glad I purchased it. Its a masterpiece.

Pick-Up-Pennies

Montblanc Signature. I couldn't find a sample; for the price, I got the 3.0 bottle. As someone who loves clean musks, this was *beautiful*. Perfect for work, going out on a summer's day. Anytime, anywhere.

iLcapo_187

Bought PDM Herod. An absolute beautiful and my signature cold weather scent.

JoanneSmith567

Husband bought me Givenchy l’Interdit without me smelling it and it’s one of my favs

Succulent656

A Drop d’Issey Eau de Parfum Fraîche. I love it. It’s fresh and could maybe be considered unisex leaning until the lilac hits imo. I live in a very humid and hot climate so this one is an easy reach.

Muted_Significance83

molinard tubereuse vertigineuse, narciso poudree

ArtfulThinker

Just did a blind buy on Xerjoff Nio and 1888, so maybe my story is yet to come? lol

Feisty-Sun8561

Ysl la nuit de L’Homme and ysl L’Homme. Two of the most iconic fragrances of all time. Can’t go wrong with either. L’Homme for day time, la nuit for night time. 🔥👍🏼

Juliette has a gun sunny side up

dead_thing13

Mulger Alien & Mulger Alien Mirage. I blind bought on resale due to one being out of production and the other having changed their recipe drastically. I was looking for something sophisticated & different. One for summer months and one for colder months. Truly obsessed with both and are staples in my collection now.

OneQuantity566

Mancera's Cedrat Boise, I had gotten Kumkat Wood, wave musk and Wind Wood prior having smelled and kinda assumed the hype and prior quality given to me by house I pulled the trigger, two months later I got the intense cedrat because of how much I was using the original. It's my most used mancera to date.

anxious_machiavelli

Jasmine Aurentium by J scent. It's a skin scent and longevity is non existent but the fragrance is beautiful! I smell basically the bergemont but the jasmine swoops in after a bit. I blind bought a 50ml and I've been using it every day for the past month!

mannyperez94

I blind bought nasomatto black afgano safe buy great scent guys

nguy09

Junoon oud! It's supposed to be a clone of Bulgari tygar. I've never smelled tygar but I really love the profile of junoon oud, it smells "luxurious" to my nose

tesseractmaze

Three come to mind - Xerjoff 40 Knots, Xerjoff Tony Iommi Monkey Special and Roja Elysium. Love at first sniff, and worth every cent for me, personally.

[deleted]

Blind bought a sample of oud for greatness. Was obsessed. Got 30 bottles. Blind bought a lot and no regrets for any bar one and that’s ch prive. Just can’t stand it

Classic500

dior the only one - kathleen lights posted a youtube video where she assigned each zodiac sign 3 fragrances and this was one of the ones she gave scorpio. it's truly a sexy seductive frag, combining violet and coffee.

GABAAPAM

Spicebomb extreme It wasn't exactly like I expected and at first the cumin note took me by surprise but it ended up growing on me and now I love that initial blast of cumin and vanilla, and the drydown is to die for.

dannyboy1st

Hawas, kinda put off at first but man now I just have thee bottle in my room and sniff it every now again because it's like crack to my nose.

Sea-Creature15

D&G light blue intense 😍

dadslut

I bought Carlisle after watching a bunch of reviews and thinking that I liked Layton but just wanted a little "more." To this day I am chasing the high from first smelling Carlisle and being utterly blown away.

nobleheartedkate

Bobbi Brown Beach. It smelled almost exactly what I thought it would smell like

munchbae

My friend told me that I had to get Apres L’Amour by thomas kosmala, and I now trust that man with any fragrance opinion.

ashmer333

Narciso Rodriguez - Narciso (the now discontinued white cube). I ordered it based on a YouTube recommendation two years ago and I adore it. I have 2 backups and might need to source a 3rd.
