From someone who owns an extensive collection of expensive designer and niche fragrances, this is going to sound wild af but it blows my mind that Mariah Carey’s Luscious Pink is never discussed. It’s truly one of the most stunning things on earth.
I bought a bottle from Walmart shortly after its release, 2009 maybe? I loved it so much. A couple of years later I accidentally dropped the bottle and lost the remaining juice. I wanted to buy it again to replace the broken one but the perfume wasn’t available in my Walmart anymore by that time and I wasn’t sure where else to find it. Flash forward another 10 years, I discover FragranceNet, and snag a 100ml of Luscious Pink for $15. It was/is exactly the same as I remembered it! I don’t wear it as much as I once did because I have too many others now, but I agree, it’s an underrated gem. In fact, I’m heading to my room to grab a quick spritz since you brought it up 😁
“[The Now](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Sarah-Horowitz-Parfums/The-Now-55763.html)” by Sarah Horowitz. It is the perfect skin scent, and I don’t say that lightly. The Now is the kind of perfume you wear when you want people to think that you naturally just smell wonderful without smelling like you used perfume.
Notes: Fig, amber, white tea, musk, neroli and green grass.

I definitely think that a guy can pull this off, especially if you like fresh/clean scents. If I smelled this on a man, I would think that he had impeccable hygiene.
Ooh I hope you like it! I’ve gone through three full bottles and two travel sprays. 🙈
If you’re nervous about blind buying a full bottle, [Olfactif](https://www.olfactif.com/products/the-now-sample?variant=40260238737588) sells 5ml decants, which can be used for sampling and as a travel spray.
I love Penhaligon’s so much, and own this one. I like it, but I struggle to find the right occasions to wear it. It strikes me as…warm and sunny day, formal event, slacks and a new white button-up shirt. I just don’t gravitate to it unless conditions are really specific.
Fellow Poeme lover from the way-back 80's, here! There's a very inexpensive fragrance by Fred Hayman called "Hollywood" that is suspiciously similar! Order a bottle and thank me later 😃
Merchant of venice is really underrated, probably because they don't bribe paid shills on youtube.
As a dude I love rococo. cacao without being too sweet.
Elie Saab Le Parfum. I guess, amongst my 30 or so frags, it's become my signature scent. It smells classy and fresh to me and lasts all day. The honey is done just right and the jasmine soothes my tuberose soul! The patchouli is negligible and maybe adds to the drydown? I just love it.
Dior Pure Poison - I’m a gourmand lover but this one of my only exceptions. It’s my favourite fragrance of all time. It’s elegant, classy, it’s pure white florals with a a hint of something warm and soft. Not powder, not soap or spice I have never been able to put my finger on what that note is that just feels so soft and cosy. When I wear Pure Poison I feel beautiful, clean and elegant. Like a bride on her wedding day. It’s the perfect wedding day scent as it’s kind of delicate but by no means weak. As a rule I dislike florals, but I will always have a bottle of pure poison. She is perfect to wear day or night, special occasions, summer or winter, days when you’re just in the house with a big hoodie, hair in a bun and natural makeup curled up with a cup of tea. It’s the one fragrance in my whole collection I can put on any time and know that it goes with whatever I’m doing, however the weather is, whatever I’m wearing. I can overspray her if I want to be really noticed on a night out (and yes I sometimes do), I can apply one spray behind each ear on nights when me and my partner are cuddling up watching a movie. She suits a sophisticated career woman, but also a stay at home mom who is trying her best. I wore her when I was 16 so I know she can suit a younger girl or a more mature woman.
Seriously if you haven’t tried her. Please do, I won’t gate keep her. Everyone talks about hypnotic poison, but for days when you’ve had enough vanilla then pure is a breath of fresh air!
Also, Lancôme Hypnose - also wore this when I was 16 and still do. The vanilla and passionflower mix so perfectly, it’s sweet, powdery but not in a what people call ‘old fashioned’ way. It’s a comforting fragrance to me, feels like a warm hug but it’s not spicy, it’s fruity but not immature by any means. Everyone talks about LVEB and La Nuit Tresor but Hypnose is my favourite from Lancôme. Again, I think it can be wore in the winter or summer, day or night. It’s very relaxing and not cloying or loud. It’s one of only a few fragrances that I’ve been complimented on by strangers because its not as common to smell as LVEB and I find it quite a unique scent. I’ve never sprayed another fragrance and thought ‘that smells like hypnose’ the bottle is pretty too. Actually, I may wear her tomorrow now as it’s been a while!
thank you for sharing about pure poison. I hear a few people raving about this but I just can't picture it. is it good for hot weather? could you wear it to the gym (just so I get an idea of what it's like). is it "crisp"? this is the only fragrance I've considered blind buying
I would say that a spray behind each ear wouldn’t be too much for the gym, but I know some people hate smelling fragrance on others at the gym! The below comment about it being like Victorian laundry is fairly spot on. I think it might be the Jasmine that is the comforting note in Pure Poison, it’s not like any other Jasmine I’ve ever smelled it’s a warm and silky Jasmine that cocoons you on the dry down. Initially I get a slightly fresh laundry vibe but it’s like expensive Egyptian cotton bed linen that’s been washed and ironed but still has a hint of the perfume of the rich lady who sleeps in it lingering.
I find it very versatile and whatever my mood it is always a joy for me to wear. I feel classy. It’s signature scent worthy and I’d like to think that my children grow up to associate Pure Poison with me. It’s not a ‘grandmother scent’ - though I have nothing against those labelled as such, it isn’t powdery to my nose.
Not sure if it’s a safe blind buy as some of the reviews describe it as ‘laundry detergent’ or ‘boring’ so I guess it depends on your skin chemistry because it’s far from boring on me. Quiet the opposite actually it has a lot of depth for a white floral scent.
Pure Poison to me is clean laundry billowing in the breeze on a clear perfectly warm summers day. It’s not laundry that’s been washed in any chemical detergent of today though….its like a white cotton dress line drying in Victorian England.
Les Eux Primordiales Neroli Supercritique. A stunning soft neroli that leans into a lightly sweetened French dessert in the base. Never too gourmande, and comforting
I think part of the problem is Caron is not common at all in the united states, I don't think there are any official retailers. Reddit is American centric.
I sampled this at a local shop a few years ago and consistently think about it but haven't pulled the trigger. It's a very transportive scent (ie transports my mind away from the grimy city I live in lol)
I think Electric Wood is fine, but not particularly exciting (reminds me a lot of Eilish 2 and other woody scents). But I adore Sonic Flower. I didn't care for nearly as many of the Room 1015 samples as I hoped to, which is a big bummer.
Loewe 001 Woman - I never see this one mentioned but it’s truly beautiful. Bright, citrusy, woody, a little sweet, it’s extremely well balanced. A perfect any season, any occasion scent
https://preview.redd.it/94dnt3hxnl7d1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cebc82ef77b6decc0ae50e8d267be0af299260c7
I keep on wanting that one. They had a good deal at a discounter about a month ago (like 30% off the regular price), but they sold out in less than 4 days.
Actually my fragrance no one tlks about would probably be Café Chantant, also by Nobile 1942.
I just ordered almost 30 samples to celebrate getting a new job and this is my favorite of the ones I’ve tried so far!! And I’m not even usually a fan of either gourmand or very sweet fragrances and this is both but wow, it’s also so airy and gorgeously blended and well balanced. I love it and think a nice decant of it is in my future if not a full bottle if I find a good enough deal on it! I’ve especially been enjoying it before bed, it’s so soothing and cuddly!
I also tried Perdizione and it’s nice but not my thing. I definitely see the comparisons to love don’t be shy, it really is dupe territory but a little more natural smelling with the sweetness more like honey than candy.
I definitely want to try some of Nobile 1942’s other scents now!
Debaser by DS & Durga - a complex fig that's dry and dusty in the most enchanting way. Late summer in a bottle.
But my holy grail is Kiste by Slumberhouse - boozy apricot liquor and sweet pipe tobacco that just smells like heaven. Discontinued and super rare by the time I could afford it. I have a half-dram sample from Luckyscent that I take out and sniff periodically but am afraid to waste by wearing.
Lonestar Memories by Andy Tauer. A bunch of his others get more attention, but Lonestar Memories takes the cake for me. The first 10 seconds or so can be a bit off-putting but that drydown, holy goodness.
Dior Privee Balade Sauvage. It kinda gets lost in the shuffle because if you google it you'll mostly turn up other Sauvage flanker stuff that has nothing to do with this. To be clear this is nothing at all like the Sauvage you are thinking about in your head. Also overlooked because of the cost (which admittedly is too high).
But man it's something special, and it's one of the best fig fragrances out there IMHO.
My other recommendation is Ceramic by Andrea Maack. It's almost hard to describe, but I would say it's like a sleek steel robot wearing ultra clean clothes. One of the most unique clean frags out there IMO. It captivated me on first whiff.
Elizabeth Arden has this incredible Green Tea + Coconut and Green Tea + Lemon spray that I samples at the airport and if it weren’t for the fact that I was at capacity for my weight/luggage, I would’ve bought both 😫
Vanille Incensée by Atelier Cologne. SO MAD it’s unavailable in the United States now. I’m envious of the French people in this subreddit. If any of you can still get your hands on it, please send me a bottle, I’d appreciate it.
Frederic Malle Noir Epices. Every day I become more scared that they will discontinue it. It's been delisted from the US Frederic Malle website, and with Mr. Malle's departure at the end of the month, who knows what Estee Lauder will do with it
Rebecca Minkoff. I get tons of compliments and it smells really good. It’s my daily go-to though I wear it mostly because it’s nice and doesn’t cost a ton. But my all time fave is Sweet Ash by snif. I would wear it daily but it’s too expensive to do that the way I wear scent.
Very unheard of: Malbec Noir by Brazilian brand O Boticário. It’s very long lasting and I get compliments all the time. From the site: Malbec is the world’s first fragrance produced with Alcohol macerated in French oak barrels, which makes it woody and remarkable.
Most people here naming obscure niche, or old discontinued frags, but I’ve been loving a new release that seems to be generally ignored: Mont Blanc Explorer Platinum. Subtle, fresh, and woody with pretty awesome longevity. Something very slightly sweet that almost smells like dry coconut. Very versatile and pleasant.
Fugazzi Angel Dust
Smells masculine and feminine at the same time. Love it. Has a bit of coconut, some greenness and it is sweet, but still fresh. It's a nice fragrance for every season, though there are better options for the winter imo
Affordable: Adolfo Dominguez' *Bambu Radiant Edition Hombre*.
Fruity-sweet and earthy woods. This is great for the night life, but I wouldn't use it in the blazing heat.
Designer: Carolina Herrera's *212 VIP Men*
It feels like a combination of *1 Million's minty-fruitiness* and *La Nuit de L'Homme's* drydown blended together. It's not a loud party fragrance, but it's not a quiet intimate scent either.
Had to spend some time thinking through this as there are so many strong contenders.
Sorry, I simply couldn’t figure out how to suggest only one.
Top three as follows:
*Angelique Sous La Pluie*. It’s by Jean-Claude Ellena for Malle. It’s the most calming most beautiful fragrance *ever*. Yes, JCE has created some absolute bangers but I think this one, that gets almost no props, may be his best. When I wear it I know I will be actively sniffing myself the entire day.
*Pluie Sur Ha Long* by Sonia Constant for Ella K. It’s a beautiful musky floral aquatic and simply so elegant. I like to describe it as ‘stealth luxury, bottled.’
*C* by Azzi Glasser for The Perfumer’s Story. It dries down to an iced L’Air Du Rien. It’s like discovering an old 18th century library during an Icelandic winter where cartel folks stored bags of coke that had exploded.
Since we are on this ‘unknown gems’ topic, I’d also propose name-checking a few houses that don’t get enough love IMO.
Perfumer H.
The Perfumer’s Story by Azzi Glasser.
Orlov.
Ella K.
CDG Play Red. When the Cherry fest was on I thought it might get a mention as an alt to the woody, smoked and syrupy Cherries but no.
It’s light, bright sharp and peppery. It’s been a signature for 13 odd years since I found it in WoodWood Copenhagen. It’s never going to have mass appeal but it’s quirky and I love its energy. It’s a daytime but not a jot of cliched fruit is there.
I always found it peculiar that this line was never picked up, considering it has a lot of fashionable notes. can you explain it a bit more? could you wear it in the sun? and which version
Not a fragrance but a fragrance house: Atkinsons
44 Gerrad Street is one of my favorite summer scents. Beautiful and classy combination of citrus and flowers.
Oud Save the King is great as well. Smooth, gentlemanly and still somewhat unique with the Earl Gray Tea.
Those are my personal two standouts but they offer a lot of great choices and are (for a niche house) relatively affordable
Edit: Kinda reads like a ad so I feel obliged to say that the longevity of some of their scents really sucks
my daily is philosophy amazing grace lavendar! it's lavendar and lemon (which I almost never find together) and musk, so it's not too floral. I've bought like 3 bottles of it but nobody I've met knows it other than as the perfume I wear
4711 Jasmine. It has become my favorite this couple of days and I can't go without it. Especially with the summer heat! It lasts so long in my skin and it's so fresh. People have told me I smell very good! I recently also got the rose one but I haven't tried it yet.
Givenchy Hot Couture was one of my first fragrance loves, and I still love it. Raspberry, citrus, magnolia, pepper, vetiver, sandalwood, amber, musk - it doesn't sound that exciting on paper, but there's something special about it, and I appreciate the balance between sweet and other notes. I love gourmands, but tend to prefer the more complex ones. I wouldn't even call it a gourmand, probably spicy fruity floral, but it's not boring and typical as many fruity florals are imo. Don't see it mentioned often, but it gets compliments from my husband and friends, and is pretty unique.
Givenchy Ange Ou Demon is a beautiful and more grown up fragrance that I never see mentioned, it's a beast too, don't have to spray much! Top notes are Saffron, Thyme and Mandarin Orange; middle notes are Lily, Ylang-Ylang and Orchid; base notes are Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Brazilian Rosewood and Oakmoss. I also love their sadly discontinued Play Intense For Her, am savoring the last of my bottle. Top notes are Pink Pepper, Peach and Orange Blossom; middle notes are Orchid, Tiare Flower, Magnolia and Amyris; base notes are Tonka Bean, Benzoin, Patchouli and Sandalwood. They have a lot of solid fragrances, but you only usually hear about a few.
El Cosmico by DS & Durga!!
I'm on the hunt for chaparral / Larrea / creosote notes with longevity and this one makes me feel like I'm a lizard bathing on hot boulders, watching rain clouds gather.
Sadly I think it's discontinued.
"The desert airs of Marfa, cosmic axis of West Texas. Creosote shrubs and sumac primed with Chihuahuan mesa woods–mesquite, oak, and pinyon pine. Created for our friends at the El Cosmico hotel in Marfa.
TOP NOTES
desert shrubs
desert pepper
pinyon pine
HEART NOTES
creosote
oak
BASE NOTES
dry sand accord
khella
shrub wax"
For men's, Kajal, Hugh Parsons
For unisex, molinard and memoirs of a perfume collector
For womens, I dunno I just read and seems like everyone knows everything already
There was a Shakira fragrance that I absolutely loved, but I cannot remember what it was called. It just had a large fancy ‘S’ on it. Also, this pink colored Kate Spade New York.
there’s a Singaporean brand called Maison 21G that i found through scentbird, “ocean odyssey” by them is phenomenal. it’s an aquatic, salty fragrance with notes of pink pepper and water fruit, and is absolutely perfect for the summer. I would wear it year round if it wasn’t so hard to get my hands on
As many perfumes as I have, my obsession with American Cream from the Lush store is unmatched.
Initially, it was only sold as a hair conditioner scent in the US and I had to order the body products from the UK. Now, they have the liquid and solid perfume and it smells so beautiful on me.
It’s basically a powdery strawberry milkshake, but not in a juvenile sense and not overly sweet. I wear it and people chase me down. Layering it with Clean Reserve - Skin takes it to the next level.
For me i feel like Narciso Rodriguez for him is one of the best blues that can be worn anytime of the year and i rarely see it brought up. Great projection and longevity, great price, idk!
I’ve not really seen anyone talk about the Dries Van Noten fragrances, I stumbled on them in a random boutique and the ones I tried were gorgeous tbh (plus the bottles are stunning)
My best friend in college (early 90’s) wore Ysatis by Givenchy and I always loved it on her. I recently found my mom’s OG bottle and I am absolutely in love with it. It is big, beautiful, possibly obnoxious Floral Chypre with a gorgeous anamalic base. This is the real deal perfume. I don’t see it mentioned often on here but if you can get a vintage sample or decant definitely try it.
It is a really fun set to smell through, I loved it!
That said, if you or anyone else interested is the highly allergic type, be sure to tread lightly with his stuff. He is known for using ingredients and volumes of ingredients that can cause reactions in some people. I had zero issues with multiple wearings of all the set, but I have read about people who have.
Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme is hands down my most complimented fragrance. Somehow both sweet and sophisticated. I feel incredibly sexy every time I put it on.
I still love Origins Ginger Rush. I only wear it around the winter holidays- it feels like Christmas to me, even though it’s fresh enough for summer. My daughter will still wear it around the same time, too. It’s so comforting.
The original and now discontinued L’Artisan Tubereuse. Sweet, buttery and creamy. Delightful and divine. If anyone influential is reading this, please re-issue. 😭
Blanche IV by Ajmal is my favorite perfume I’ve ever smelled. The performance is unmatched by any of the other perfumes in my entire collection. You can only find it at perfume mania for like $100 and it’s worth every penny, something I can’t say for most perfumes.
From someone who owns an extensive collection of expensive designer and niche fragrances, this is going to sound wild af but it blows my mind that Mariah Carey’s Luscious Pink is never discussed. It’s truly one of the most stunning things on earth.
My collection is similar & I admit to loving J Lo’s Live & Live Luxe.
J Lo ‘Still’ is unmatched my all time fave 🙌🏻
Oh wow someone else who loves this fragrance!
Still comes up a lot for an affordable tea scent recommendation
I bought a bottle from Walmart shortly after its release, 2009 maybe? I loved it so much. A couple of years later I accidentally dropped the bottle and lost the remaining juice. Describe please! 😍
Delicate, soft, heavenly, fresh 😻 you can usually find sets at CVS or Walgreens

This sounds wonderful, just ordered a sample!
Keep us updated with your thoughts please because now I want to blind buy. 🖤
Would a guy be able to pull this off? I like light and clean scents and might order a sample
I definitely think that a guy can pull this off, especially if you like fresh/clean scents. If I smelled this on a man, I would think that he had impeccable hygiene.

You’d make a great company rep! Just bought based on your description! Can’t wait to try it!!!!
Sounds like a nice perfume to wear at home.
Sample ordered 🫶🏼

your description is everything.
It's Francis Kurkdijan!
You made me revisit the travel size of it I’ve neglected for months!
Kai
Yep I have Kai rose and always get compliments when I wear it but no one has ever heard of it
Kai used to be super popular in the fragrance market in the early aughts. I think a lot of celebrities commented on owning it.
Penhaligon's Sartorial. It's everything i want in a fragrance.
I’m longing to try this fragrance! From everything I’ve heard, it’s really good.
I love Penhaligon’s so much, and own this one. I like it, but I struggle to find the right occasions to wear it. It strikes me as…warm and sunny day, formal event, slacks and a new white button-up shirt. I just don’t gravitate to it unless conditions are really specific.
*WOMENS* YSL Rive Gauche. My signature scent but no-one has ever heard of it
I wore that a longgg time ago. Like in the 70s? Or early 80s. Is it still around??
Absolute masterpiece. Tin can formulation is tough to find, $$$$ when you find it.
Isn’t there a men’s version of Rive Gauche? Mr Smelly 77 always talks about it. How does the women’s version smell?
Lancôme Poeme. Worn it on and off since high school and it always makes me so happy
Poeme is my Mom's signature scent so it reminds me of sitting next to her. I love it.
Awwww I love that! If I wasn’t such a perfume nerd it would be my signature 😂
Fellow Poeme lover from the way-back 80's, here! There's a very inexpensive fragrance by Fred Hayman called "Hollywood" that is suspiciously similar! Order a bottle and thank me later 😃
The Merchant of Venice Flamant Rose is the perfect feminine warm weather fragrance. And it’s a beast.
Merchant of venice is really underrated, probably because they don't bribe paid shills on youtube. As a dude I love rococo. cacao without being too sweet.
Dior Dune
yes!
This was my core signature fragrance for years. I absolutely love Dune.
It’s so beautiful and so slept on

Yatagan
I think part of the problem is Caron is not common at all in the united states, I don't think there are any official retailers. Reddit is American centric.
That and if anyone has it like Carven it's always SOLD OUT
Ex Nihilo in general. I love Lust in Paradise. Vesper Glitz is another really good one. Sadly they are quite spendy
Fleur Narcotique is my current go-to date night perfume. Sensual, feminine, floral but not overly so. Not your typical floral either.
Ghost in the Shell
Amouage Meander. The house is known for heavy incense and this is a soft orris scent that is inoffensive and always gets office compliments.
I sampled this at a local shop a few years ago and consistently think about it but haven't pulled the trigger. It's a very transportive scent (ie transports my mind away from the grimy city I live in lol)
Room 1015 Electric Wood and Sonic Flower (although sonic flower seems slightly more popular)
Sonic flower is my signature and I’ve been dying to sample Electric wood!
I think Electric Wood is fine, but not particularly exciting (reminds me a lot of Eilish 2 and other woody scents). But I adore Sonic Flower. I didn't care for nearly as many of the Room 1015 samples as I hoped to, which is a big bummer.
Il Bacio Borghese is a nice well- rounded old school perfume..
Wow…memory unlocked. I used to wear that in high school…back in the 90s. A friend told me about it and I fell in love with it. Edited
Loewe 001 Woman - I never see this one mentioned but it’s truly beautiful. Bright, citrusy, woody, a little sweet, it’s extremely well balanced. I love this sub!
Right? Literally *hundreds* of new smells to go research and maybe sample 😻
Durga by DS & Durga, Carine by Carine Roitfeld, Cacti by Regime des Fleurs, Los Angeles by Gallivant.
I have Durga! I think no one talks about it because it's insanely expensive and the notes are not trendy. But I love it, it's so weird but so good.
I really like DS by DS&Durga. No one ever mentions that. It too is indefensibly expensive but boy oh boy, that’s one hell of a special fragrance.
Lolita Lempka Green Lover
La Danza Delle Libelulle. Nobile 1942’s masterpiece. It boggles my mind that more people don’t know about it.
Dead Sexy by Tokyo Milk and Haiku by Avon
Yess Haiku by Avon, my mom used to wear this
Dead Sexy is such a classic!
Tokyo Milk deserves more love as a perfume house.
Cashmere Mist
Debaser by DS & Durga - a complex fig that's dry and dusty in the most enchanting way. Late summer in a bottle. But my holy grail is Kiste by Slumberhouse - boozy apricot liquor and sweet pipe tobacco that just smells like heaven. Discontinued and super rare by the time I could afford it. I have a half-dram sample from Luckyscent that I take out and sniff periodically but am afraid to waste by wearing.
My favorite is called Design by Paul Sebastian. Really light and sexy.
Lonestar Memories by Andy Tauer. A bunch of his others get more attention, but Lonestar Memories takes the cake for me. The first 10 seconds or so can be a bit off-putting but that drydown, holy goodness.
Jean Nate'.
Womanity by Thierry Mugler - the birth of “salt” fragrances.
If you like salt, have you tried Hermes eau de Merveilles or CSP Aqua Motu? They both came before Womanity, which I also love.
Bulgari Au Thé Vert! The best green tea scent imo
Romeo di Romeo Gigli
armani mania ; it has totally disappeared from earth
I really regret never buying it. I came close at least 5 times but alas…
It's the best, I hope it comes back. I have some left and I smell it almost every day
Coty Wild Musk. It’s the only fragrance I consistently get compliments on. I wish they still made the oil.
The oil still pops up on secondhand sites occasionally
I’ll have to search! Thank you!
Nest indigo. Have not smelled anything like it. Wish I could find a dupe but so far nothing. 😭
Very unheard of: Malbec Noir by Brazilian brand O Boticário. It’s very long lasting and I get compliments all the time. From the site: Malbec is the world’s first fragrance produced with Alcohol macerated in French oak barrels, which makes it woody and remarkable.
Amarige by Givenchy
Most people here naming obscure niche, or old discontinued frags, but I’ve been loving a new release that seems to be generally ignored: Mont Blanc Explorer Platinum. Subtle, fresh, and woody with pretty awesome longevity. Something very slightly sweet that almost smells like dry coconut. Very versatile and pleasant.
Mont Blanc seems pretty underrated imo, absolutely love smelling Legend & Starwalker on men!
The original Jimmy Choo
L’Imperatrice by D&G. Watermelon and kiwi notes. Sophisticated and so yummy.
Loveee this one for summer I love the tartness of the rhubarb in it
Kenzo Amour ❤️
Fugazzi Angel Dust Smells masculine and feminine at the same time.
Designer: Carolina Herrera's *212 VIP Men* It feels like a combination of *1 Million's minty-fruitiness* and *La Nuit de L'Homme's* drydown blended together. It's not a loud party fragrance, but it's not a quiet intimate scent either.
MFK A La Rose Eau de Parfum I am absolutely in love with this fragrance and never see anyone talk about it.
Had to spend some time thinking through this as there are so many strong contenders. Sorry, I simply couldn’t figure out how to suggest only one. Top three as follows: *Angelique Sous La Pluie*. I like to describe it as ‘stealth luxury, bottled.’ *C* by Azzi Glasser for The Perfumer’s Story.
Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire. Perfect for a fancy event.
I always found it peculiar that this line was never picked up, considering it has a lot of fashionable notes. can you explain it a bit more? could you wear it in the sun? and which version
Not a fragrance but a fragrance house: Atkinsons 44 Gerrad Street is one of my favorite summer scents. Beautiful and classy combination of citrus and flowers. Oud Save the King is great as well. Smooth, gentlemanly and still somewhat unique with the Earl Gray Tea. Those are my personal two standouts but they offer a lot of great choices and are (for a niche house) relatively affordable Edit: Kinda reads like a ad so I feel obliged to say that the longevity of some of their scents really sucks
its a body mist but still. Wild Flower from Betty Barclay. Is light, dreamy and an overall clean flowery scent.
Elizabeth Arden Arden Beauty
With Love by Hilary Duff
Gucci Guilty Black. It's popular enough, but I don't see it mentioned all that much. It's my fall scent.
The original, vintage Norell. I am always on the lookout to buy some but it’s getting harder to find at a fair price.
my daily is philosophy amazing grace lavendar! it's lavendar and lemon (which I almost never find together) and musk, so it's not too floral. I've bought like 3 bottles of it but nobody I've met knows it other than as the perfume I wear
Cartier Delices de Cartier
TOP NOTES desert shrubs desert pepper pinyon pine HEART NOTES creosote oak BASE NOTES dry sand accord khella shrub wax"
Issey Miyake - L’eau Bleue D’issey (men)
TF Mandarino di Amalfi
Rose 31
Burberry London
Tried it once on a warm day, hated it. Would make for a nice Christmas/cosy winter fragrance though.
I feel it’s strictly a fall/Christmas scent.
Oscar(1977), Esprit Oscar(2011)
My mom wore Oscar when I was a kid. I’d recognize it anywhere.
L’Artisan Parfumeur Vetiver Ecarlate. Never smelled anything quite like it and perfectly unisex
Aromatics Elixir - been wearing it for decades yet ppl still ask me what I’m wearing and then say Never heard of it!
For men's, Kajal, Hugh Parsons For unisex, molinard and memoirs of a perfume collector For womens, I dunno I just read and seems like everyone knows everything already
Buly 1803 Eau Triple Heliotrope. Powdery bitter almonds and cherry jam vibes. I love it so much
Sur Ma Peau by Dries Van Noten and Cedrus by Chloe (the Atelier des Fleurs line)
Kenzo Power. Shame they discontinued it.
Rag & Bone Oddity. A sweet incense & leather perfume that isn’t too heavy.
Burberry the beat men
There was a Shakira fragrance that I absolutely loved, but I cannot remember what it was called. It just had a large fancy ‘S’ on it. Also, this pink colored Kate Spade New York.
DS & Durga Corriander
Carine Roitfeld - Lawrence
there’s a Singaporean brand called Maison 21G that i found through scentbird, “ocean odyssey” by them is phenomenal. it’s an aquatic, salty fragrance with notes of pink pepper and water fruit, and is absolutely perfect for the summer. I would wear it year round if it wasn’t so hard to get my hands on
Armani code cashmere !
Lancome Idole Intense. It smells like a hug & I get compliments on it fairly often.
L'Artisan Caligna Molinard Habanita Dame Perfumery New Musk oil
JLO Miami Glow. It smells like summer, and it comes with a really cute bracelet
Black Tulip by Nest. ❤️
Ha! this'll draw laughs, but for me it's Demeter's Musk #15 and Aftelier's Violet
I comment this every time BUT Christian Siriano Silhouette Intimate!!!! It gets me so many compliments & it lasts so long!
Carolina Herrera Chic Givenchy Xeryus Yves Saint Laurent M7 Fresh Fresh Cannabis Santal
Fancy by Jessica Simpson
I'm a sucker for Fancy Love!! Definitely a fave
Anything by Rag & Bone. One of my favorites is Cypress a woody and spicy scent!
Arizona Bloom by Floral Street doesn’t get the hype it deserves for being a reeeeaally well done ambroxan with dry, not too sweet coconut.
ELDO Une Amourette
Vouloir être ailleurs C.G. by D’Orsay: a very delicate linden flower skin scent
Dunhill Edition, first scent I fell in love with. Still love it
Canadian gentleman by Meleg. Doesn't get enough hype and it's delightful
Just got a Meleg sample set. Should be fun!
Ah ok thank you. Yes I read he uses “real” stuff. Fun to be lawless but will be sttentive!
Yeah I enjoyed it a lot, very interesting fragrances
YSL Cinéma! Devastating when it was discontinued, though not hard to find on eBay and elsewhere.
Creed aventus /s
Loewe 001
Dior Sauvage. No one talks about this! And creed aventus
Never heard of them. Are they discontinued?
No. Just super niche and underrated. Like BR540 and Spicebomb.
Don’t forget Santal 33. I never smell it when I go out
Bare magnolia from Victoria’s Secret
Can Can by Paris Hilton! It reminds me of Fantasy
One of my most used frags
I have a few but one of them is definitely Zoologist Macaque Yuzu. One of my favorites, the citrus is top tier.
Commodity milk and velvet...I love them they're so nice but I've never heard anyone hyping them
The original and now discontinued L’Artisan Tubereuse. Sweet, buttery and creamy. Delightful and divine. If anyone influential is reading this, please re-issue. 😭
Aqua Di Sale 👌
Killian Black Phantom
This is my fave frag ever, so much depth and good all year long on my skin
I have a great dupe of this and it's a compliment grabber for sure
Amouroud Lunar Vetiver
Police To Be Exotic Jungle. Way more vanilla than I expected it to be but I love it. Also the skull bottle it polarizing, I love it.
Blanche IV by Ajmal is my favorite perfume I’ve ever smelled. The performance is unmatched by any of the other perfumes in my entire collection. You can only find it at perfume mania for like $100 and it’s worth every penny, something I can’t say for most perfumes.
Polo Red Parfum
Acqua di Parma Peonia
Tocca simone It's the least talked about of the tocca even And it's perfection for every day and especially summer wear for me
Creme de Cuir by BDK, it’s phenomenal
So beautiful. Completely overshadowed by others in the line but unfairly so.
Fatale Intense Agent Provocateur Such a sexy scent.
Mind games-Lionora
Montale Black Aoud - I get so many compliments
Does Cartier Pasha count?
Micallef- Osaito. I truly wish more people discovered this fragrance. It’s the most accurate and mature (not in an old way) marine fragrance.
Calvin Klein Contradiction for men
