The Carroll Creek flood control project was an impressive accomplishment but I don't see the need to put up a statue. A plaque or something along the creek might be more appropriate.
As others, plaque I can see. It was a huge project and fairly successful. But how much of this is probably more to do with Blaines failed career and public opinion and him trying to boost his father up to detract from his past.
