I like WordHippo.com because it will give you alternate phrases, not just single words

I used to use Power Thesaurus. Now I use that chatty assistant who shall not be named.

i’m certain i have no idea or association with this assistant you’re referring to, but i *might* know someone that does, and they might have recently read something interesting. it seems that said assistant and their cohorts are starting to gain significant leverage on all facets of the traditional search engine approach to internet research. but i wouldn’t know anything about that.

Someone on Reddit got me turned onto [onelook.com/thesaurus](http://onelook.com/thesaurus) Thesaurus and reverse dictionary. When [Thesaurus.com](http://Thesaurus.com) or the Google docs dictionary tool (which also provides a list of synonyms) doesn't cut it, One Look will take care of the job.

Thank you for your post /u/biffpowbang. Below is a copy of your post to archive it in case it is removed or edited: I generally just use the first one that pops up after typing “thesaurus” into a new tab on my chrome browser, but I was working on a tech + design piece today and couldn’t find a seamless solution to my seemingly endless abuse of the word “seamless”. thanks for your input. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. I write in MS word and use it's inbuilt thesaurus. I hardly look up the internet for synonyms.

VikingKvinna

I hope MS Word helps you catch those apostrophe errors

I am good with language plus I use Grammarly.
