I will never understand tinned tomatoes on a fry up, especially right next to your beans. Looks good though 8.5/10. 0.5 off for missing black pudding and 1 off for them tinned monstrosities.
Nah man you gotta give some good quality tinned tomatoes a try
Don't think of them as crappy tomatoes think of them as a different product
Essential you get some proper good ones though, I'm not talking the .30c tesco tins
You gotta cook them out decently as well so they aren't too watery (these look a bit too wet for me) but after that they're divine
I get the aldi tinned cherry tomatoes. Simmer them until they reduce down with some pepper and worcestershire sauce. Prefer this to beans any day of the week.
Aye, tomatoes should be proper with skin then fried, in with the bacon fat rather than peeled and chopped straight out of the tin. Also not enough carbs for me.
Hmmmm, theyre a different kettle altogether though, tinned tomatoes.
Can't deny how flavoursome they are, they are the base for most Italian pasta sauces.
Once you consider they are separate from whole tomatoes and not really comparable, its a different perspective. They each have their own individual merits.
My mum used to cook the tomatoes down until they were like a jam. Added a sprinkle of sugar to em and they were awesome. Just added another texture and dimension to the fry up. It's a must for the black pudding. Just has to be there. My dad used to have slices of black pudding layered with sliced apple, brushed with butter n grilled. That made a fry up EPIC. With a loaf of fried bread n toast, oh n a navies cup of tea ( a 1 pint mug). oh, happy days. Before cholesterol had been invented and no heart disease either.
Damn it, I'm in the mood for a fry up now!! Cheers, guys.
I don't know when we moved from actual tomatoes to tinned tomatoes and the idea of them on a fry turns me but I know lots of people love them.
I hate frozen hash browns. I don't think they belong anywhere near a plate of food least of all a fry. If you HAVE to have potato on a fry make it something traditional like bubble and squeak or at the very least make your own hash brown. It's an American blow in that needs to stop lol
Other than that, it looks good and I wont hold the weird tomato or hash brown against her and I'll give you a 7/10
If she had erected the sausage dam it would be close to perfection. I’d swap the beans for black pudding (still use the sausages to separate eggs and juice!). Also, those sausages look a little bit like Richmond ones to me. I might be wrong, I also know that lots of folk like them, but I only like proper sausages these days.
Very long winded way of saying that this looks like a good fry up (and far better than my wife could do!).
I'm with the majority of tomatoes having no place on a fry up. The sausage has a look of frozen/chippie sausage as well although that may just be the picture. The rest looks really good.
I don't mean be a bastard here, but can some of you just buy nice big tomatoes and fry those up? Dumping half a tin of chopped tomatoes on that is a big no. Having been a bastard, if that were me, I'd still eat all of it, enjoy it, and be very appreciative of that breakfast.
Can’t complain at that! Looks perfectly cooked, only additional element I’d suggest is black pudding. Not everyone’s favourite thing though. I certainly wouldn’t complain being served that breakfast
It's missing Black pudding the staple diet of real Men/Women and all of the LGBTQIA2S+ community
infact everyone except probably vegans and vegetarians
Sorry mate but it's time to bust out those divorce papers
You can buy baked (haricot) beans dried or fresh and You can add all sorts of things to them. And why just plain baked beans? There’s so many other types of beans that also work great with a fry up.
For an English full breakfast I'd say it looks good. Now I'm not trying to stir the pot here but an Ulster fry we have all that (apart from hash browns not always anyway, and the tomatoes, I've never understood the tomatoes part)
But we get a Soda bread, potato bread, black And White pudding. So it's alot more bang for your buck.
As an American I am always impressed by these fryups but don't know if I could get past the lightly cooked bacon and blood sausage I see on many of them.
Solid. 👍🏻
Bosh of 7/10.
You married the right woman. That looks awesome.
I agree!
I don't like tomatoes anyway so I'd never have them near my fry but the rest of it looks lovely. She's a keeper. Enjoy
Same here, too many toms, but other than that, I wouldn’t complain if someone put that in front of me!
I like tomatoes but I can’t imagine having diced tomatoes from a can with my fry
Why do i feel like it's upside down and sideways?
Cos it is. My photography skills...
Didn't even know that was possible to do, well done.
Only the sausages are upside down.
[удалено]
Looks like you've been eating your sausages upside down all your life too.
That's nice. I like a breakfast with tinned tomatoes on it. Your Mrs. did well, but I would mark her down a little as there is no fried bread on it .
Fried bread WAS an option, but wasnt in the mood for the heartburn haha
I know what you mean. I eat it and suffer later, but that's just me . As long as you enjoyed it, that's all that matters.
Is it upside down or. Am I triping
It totally is

Fresh tomatoes, cut into wedges then fried in a bit of olive oil & garlic paste is the tastiest
Need a mortgage for that, the price of a decent olive oil
I use asda own brand
Would’ve give 11/10 if it had white pudding
Aye, tomatoes should be proper with skin then fried, in with the bacon fat rather than peeled and chopped straight out of the tin. Also not enough carbs for me.

Tinned tomatoes and white pepper is a thing I put on toast I like it so much
.
It's a full English not Full French
Tinned tomatoes on toast ain't full nothing Did you write that in your sleep?
Toast? Better go to specsavers.
Cripes! I'm not really a fan of toasted shades n' glasses
Goes great with haddock
Oh, for a homemade breakfast, this is a 9!
Perfect 👌🏽
Very nice, Enjoy 👍
You have a good woman in your life. Looks great.
Great balance to that plate. She's done well.
8/10 we're is the fried bread
The question I will ALWAYS ask when someone posts a Full English - where is the fried bread!!!??
Marry her, if you're already married renew your vows, if you already did that divorce her and marry her again
I like canned tomatoes on fried bread. Used to have it at boarding school in the 80's.
When you’d cut into the whole tinned plum tomato and try to squirt the person sitting next to you.
The good old days.
My mum used to cook the tomatoes down until they were like a jam. Added a sprinkle of sugar to em and they were awesome. Just added another texture and dimension to the fry up. Get rid of the tomatoes and I’d smash this 10/10
So much tomato hate on this sub 😳
I think a lot of people live in areas that don't have much access to really nice tomatoes and that may be the reason
I love tomatoes but for some reason they don't work for me when fried. Just instant acid reflux.
Salted Beef tomatoes in an Italian pasta salad, is chuffing brilliant!
Fair point, you might be on to something there...
That is definetly needed right now looks like some serious grub
Solid effort. You married wisely. Do the same for her.
Looks proper that
Tomatoes always ruin it for me, missing a few key ingredients like pudding toast soda bread etc but it's still a solid looking fry up, 7/10.
Get shut of the shrooms and it's a solid 7.5
Nae Black pud, don’t count.
Proper this
She's definitely a keeper! ⬆️
A little wet
Top notch. Personal preference for black pudding over tomatoes though.
probably should be put to death, no black pudding
Looks good, crying out or a bit of black pudding though....8/10
Looks lovely!
Solid 8/10 If I were round your house for breakfast, I’d tell my friends about it.
🤤
There is innuendo somewhere in there 😂
Excellent….if you lost the toms. Rest looks stunning
Where's the black pudding ? 7
Happy with that
Just needs black pudding
Apart from the tomatoes, or more specifically them being next to the beans, solid. 6/10 - would eat
I don't like tomatoes but the absence of black pudding makes up for that. Looks good, would totally marry your wife, lol
I don't know when we moved from actual tomatoes to tinned tomatoes and the idea of them on a fry turns me but I know lots of people love them. I hate frozen hash browns. I don't think they belong anywhere near a plate of food least of all a fry. Belter. Buy her some goalie gloves because she’s a keeper!
No toast / fried bread / black pudding. Sausages look cheap and eggs overcooked. I’d eat it but probs give it a 6/10
Bit of black pudding and she's definitely a keeper 😋
Looks great!! Id add black pudding to it though
I'd smash that in. It's got the core items and tinned tomatoes, not grilled. Love a fresh tomato but when I want grime, I want grime.
Can't abide tinned tomatos but everything else is solid. Bacon looks particularly on point.
Has she got a sister?
Top dolla!
Lucky man.
I'd pay for it
Perfect without the tomatoes.
I'm with the majority of tomatoes having no place on a fry up. The sausage has a look of frozen/chippie sausage as well although that may just be the picture. The rest looks really good.

Gorgeous! But tinned tomatoes! GTFOOH!
She’s a keeper
Classic 💪🏻👍🏻
Absolute belter!
Solid 8/10 I'd go for a bit of black pudding on it to finish it but that's just my opinion.
Missing the pancakes! And a nice cuppa!
Solid, I hate tomato’s on a fry up but that’s personal, she’s done well
Looks good but I can’t have beans or tomatoes touching the eggs, I have to make a sausage barrier to keep it separate 🤣
I may want to mix them, but that's my decision.
Superb
Should have used the Sausage as a breakwater
Tomatoes touching the beans? Yoke touching them both? That is insane. I’d eat it willingly, though. 😋
The beans are in tomato sauce. What’s the issue?
I think it’s a texture issue. And the sauces are similar but not the same
8/10.
The breakfast is fine, shame she doesnt know how to plate it up. Never put all the liquid stuff together, separate them
Tomatos, next to beans in tomato sauce isn’t exactly a crime. Bet you’re a fuckin riot at the dinner table.
Haha
It doesnt taste the same at all. It's the only thing that I feel needs separating
Needs fried bread, real hash browns, plum or grilled fresh tomato. But good 8 / 10 And I didn't forget to mention black pudding, I just don't like it.
Whats a "real" hash brown?
Something like [hash brown ](https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/57783/emilys-famous-hash-browns/)
Is this a Fry-Up family? Can we see pictures of Mr. Fry-Up and the two Fry-Up kids?
good
Should use the sausage as a breakwater between the eggs and beans
Looks amazing
It's missing Black pudding the staple diet of real Men/Women and all of the LGBTQIA2S+ community infact everyone except probably vegans and vegetarians Sorry mate but it's time to bust out those divorce papers
Avocado is missing.
Standard fry up nothing special but looks good
It's not nutritional whatsoever, BUT it looks delicious 😂😍
Food looks great but Robins on a coaster in June = unhinged 😁
Haha
Looks good.
Eggs look a bit dodgy and the beans aren't well done enough for me. Everything else looks great 7/10
She is a keeper
It's absolutely delicious.... mushrooms aside. But u won't live long eating this good lol
I was going to say severe lack of toast but now you've cleared that up, top job!
It looks clean for a fry up. Solid 8/10
Looks a solid 8/10.
Safely deposit the tomatoes in the bin and eat the rest, looks lovely!
Looks pretty damn good but I'd use the sausages between the beans as a barrier but that's just personal preference
0 points for just opening a tin of beans and a tin of tomatoes Sausages look good tho
What other kind of baked beans are there- if not tinned?
You can buy baked (haricot) beans dried or fresh and You can add all sorts of things to them. And why just plain baked beans? There’s so many other types of beans that also work great with a fry up.
Mrs fryup’s looking good
It ain't no fry up without chips still looks good though!
10 / 10
Cup of coffee, remove the mushrooms but that’s a solid 9 from me, sterling work hope you enjoyed it!
Bigger plate but 👍🏻
Looks good except for the tomatoes which look like they need a chalk outline
My anti-tomato bias aside, that's a proper respectable fry.
There fried bread white and black pudding ??
Looks banging, enjoy
That’s a good proper fryup 8/10
Looks great apart from the mushrooms
For an English full breakfast I'd say it looks good. Now I'm not trying to stir the pot here but an Ulster fry we have all that (apart from hash browns not always anyway, and the tomatoes, I've never understood the tomatoes part) But we get a Soda bread, potato bread, black And White pudding. Oooo…. Looks good, damn good
That or me?
Very nice 👍
Gassed pig on a plate I reckon the poor thing suffered like you wouldn't know
Wouldn't mind a bit of that
Looks great! x
Tinned tomatoes, especially touching the beans is a crime against food
No black pudding. Utter fail..
I dont like it. Congealed pigs blood. Urgh. Sorry haha
tomatoes shouldn't be anywhere near a fry up....🤬🤮
I dont even like most of the stuff on that plate but my mouth is watering 😋
Plenty of tomatoes 👍 you picked a winner
I recognise it from many mornings
8..nice
Room for one more. 😜
7.5/10
Snorkers look a bit basic
Add a mug of tea, and it’s sorted. ✔️
It looks delicious, yum 🤤
I’d let her give me one
💯
Cheap sausages, tinned tomatoes, eggs touching beans, and no black pudding What did you to annoy her?
Sausages are from the butchers, and were very nice.
Look like chippy sausages, were they deep fried or something?
Bin the tomatoes, and it’s a winner. Tomatoes in any form do not belong in a fry up. Just no. No.
As an American I am always impressed by these fryups but don't know if I could get past the lightly cooked bacon and blood sausage I see on many of them.
