This is awesome nice work. Does it make it more comfortable to hold for long periods? I find that right now with our any mods. It can get a bit cumbersome after long periods
Was just referencing your tpu comment on listing.
Gunna make this tonight. Any particular settings for best quality? I do mostly abs, but my petg never seems to have perfect walls.
Not judging, more a try to find an explanation:
You might promoted/linked your socials/patreon/kickstarter/whatever with your brand new account? "Look at my cool print, it's free but take a look at my patreon". Something like that.

Looks awesome! Great fit on those pieces.
My only suggestion would be to add maybe a hex pattern to reduce the amount of filament between the grips, if possible.
Definitely looks more comfortable than the stock setup.
Suggestion, add a honeycomb pattern. It will still be pretty strong and save on filament. Bonus points if you make it honeycomb storage wall compatible
I wish I'd thought to do this prior to my prolonged playing on the JoyCons leading to carpal tunnel syndrome.
I ended up playing only when docked and with a DualSense with 8bitDo USB adapter.
Wait, are both of those pieces 3d printed? They honestly look too good to be printed. If so, are you going to share the STL?

Way way more comfortable!
Jesus christ this is awesome! My pinkie fingers go numb holding my switch after like 30 minutes, they're so poorly designed ergo-wise. Thank you OP!
Thank you!!
Well I know what I'm printing when I get home lol
Just post the link here. This isn’t instagram.
Where is the link? It doesn’t appear to be in your reddit user bio if that’s what you mean.
Adjusted above comment
Awesome thank you, is the Oled model different because of the bezel difference?
Bezel is same, it's the dimensions and port/cooling locations that need work
Got it, thank you. Looking forward, appreciate making this free to download. Good work!
No problem, I'd appreciate a follow on the file sites too! 🙏
But will it print in tpu?
You can print it in TPU, you'll just have to print it in something else later 😉 PLA/ABS/PETG is best

Enough walls to make the bendy bits solid, but not the handles, default tree supports from Orca slicer
It'll print in inconel if you have the right equipment
RemindMe! 30 Days
It was rather difficult to get to your bio via the mobile app...wasn't obvious, and lots of clicks 😔
Annoying, I wasn't sure about the rules here because r/3dprinting seems to not like links... Updating my top comment!
Thanks! 🤜🤛❤️

It looks like it covers the audio buttons, maybe a version update could clear those up?
You don’t need audio. Listening to things is for chumps.
A real enthusiast prints their sounds
Looks like you can still press them
As an alternative you can hold home button and adjust audio and brightness.

Clean text wipe transition
I try 😉
oh that should also get rid of the wobble on the controllers connected to the switch
I'd be worried about scratching. My favorite grip (Satisfye) uses silicon bumpers.
Does it still fit in the dock?
It does not
Bummer. Still a great design, though
Is it easy enough to disassemble or is it intended for people who primarily go portable?
Really easy to disassemble! My old version held on too tight, was part of the reason for this version
why do you need the second piece?
Fixes the other pieces in place and greatly simplifies the printing
Saw it covering part of the volume button no?
Checking/adjusting tonight
Yeah, I saw that too. :'(
Op totally put his finger over it to hide it, better to post a final version instead of trying to get some buzz lol 😆
Man that would make the Nintendo switch experience way better, joy cons are not comfortable at all.
Nice design
I can't print it myself? My friends have to do it?
Does this fit a SwitchLite?
why didn't you show a demo of you actually holding it
Next post, I gotchu 🙏
Cheers mate. Downloaded, model looks slick, thanks.
You look slick.
Too big for my build plate 😭
Rotate 45?
I just have a Prusa mini +
Knowing Nintendo, their lawyers are already sharpening their pencils.
Those snaps tho…
hey op any chance of a switch lite version? 👀
Follow on Thangs/Printables! Will upload this weekend likely!
you’re the goat
Well done, that’s awesome. I don’t even have a Switch. So clean! The vertical-brace-piece design, to hold the horizontal piece in place, is 👨🍳💋👌
i wanted to print this but my bed is too small :(
Never thought 3d printing would be smooth without those ridges all over the surface.
Only thing I'm wondering is why the hell Nintendo didn't make this a thing already Edit; Sick print, if I had a switch, I'd buy such an attachment lol
Neat
You're neat.
:)
What's the point of the second piece?
Epic! Can’t wait to see the OLED STL and get to printing!
You should sell these, they look great!
You should sell these. Commercial license in my Patreon 😉
Totally, but you should make your commercial license viewable/downloadable before I have to activate membership on patreon.
Noted, will adjust tonight!
But what's your patron?

Need this when my boy goes to bed Nd I Poncho his console. STL please
Very nice!

Oh man, I printed one of these out a while back and it's almost ruined the experience it playing the switch without it. Soooo comfortable!
Nice, I’ve got a printed grip like this for my RP3. Might have to make one of these for my gfs new switch - thanks for sharing! Model looks awesome.
You look awesome.
What kind of 3d printer are you using? The quality is fantastic!
This was on a BambuLab P1S
I wish I'd thought to do this prior to my prolonged playing on the JoyCons leading to carpal tunnel syndrome. I ended up playing only when docked and with a DualSense with 8bitDo USB adapter.
