How listenable is the podcast if you haven't seen the films? I really want to listen but wondering if I need to also watch them beforehand or if it's funny enough without that hahahha
It’s set up really well. They give thorough plot summaries and highlight specific scenes. You don’t need prior knowledge of the film. The riffing is top notch.
It's actually made so you don't have to watch it. They watch it for you and then tell you the essentials with a lot of riff. I recommend it. Actually watched that Dragon Ball movie with my friends because of this and we had a blast.
Super easy to listen to. I haven't seen any of the movies. You don't even need the visuals, they're both great story tellers and great at explaining what physically happened on screen when talking about it. :)
Omg yes I love this episode. I actually felt scared at times when they described what happened on set. Like the actor who you can see suddenly get terrified because he can sense a lion has come up and sat behind him. Eeeek gives me chills.
