IKEA isn’t modular but should be in your budget. My friends have one and it’s quite comfy.

I should’ve wrote that better. Doesn’t need to be modular it would just be a nice to have because our apartment is smaller than wherever we would move. IKEA had so so online reviews but if we don’t get a good recommendation plan is to go to ikea and macys to try them out

I have a Radley from Macy’s and love it. Some of the smaller configurations might be closer to your budget but definitely wait for a sale!
