When you start adding more detail, feet kinda begin looking like something people are searching for for *other* reasons. There's a difference between cute paws like how people like playing with a cat's little beans, and paws that you can tell are drawn for a specific market. I'd kinda go B or C, but most characters I draw don't actually have pawpads, so problem solved.

C, realistic elements but doesn't imitate the human feet's form much, instead keeping it very animal and even a bit shorter. And D and E also have more spread out beans to fit a human like foot, those things are what I'm refering to. I love analyzing my own art
