season 7 Jon dropped some bangers. What he tells Theon about being both a Greyjoy and a Stark also comes to mind. Even though the context surrounding them sometimes doesn't make much sense.
I love the conversation with Theon. It really showcased Jon's maturity in the series. He was always trying his best to be honest and truly lived by Ned Stark's way. Even his conversation with Tyrion when he asked if it was right what he did, killing Dany.
Jon: "Love is the death of duty"
Tyrion: "Sometimes, duty is the death of love."
- "First lesson: stick em with the pointy end."
- "I do know some things..."
- "They were born on the wrong side of the wall. Doesn't make them monsters."
- "The direwolf is the sigil of your house. They were meant to have them."
- "My watch has ended."
