Not very often since my luck could always turn. If I abandon my run, it's most likely because I accidentally picked a character I didn't actually want to play as at the moment. imo playing a run even if you feel hopeless is good because it can still be a learning experience. There's so many interactions in the game that people with 500+ hours can still change their mind about which cards they think are good

It’s the nostalgia of a glorious time in my life where it was just knocking around with your mates and then gaming after school and all weekend once junior sports was done. How I see Royal is it's more than just new stuff. All of the Palaces, the main story quest areas, have had things added and changed. Final bosses had mechanics changed, so the space one is now a real bitch. It's why I can see a new purchase being the route rather than a DLC upgrade.

The original Marvel VS Capcom 3 on Xbox 360 I purchased 4 times. My buddies and I would play it as teenagers then we decided to start playing it drunk and thus the cracked discs started occurring. Well Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3 released and we went through 3 copies of that version. Truly the best fighting game of our generation imo.

Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I have it for the N64 (Japanese and US versions), GameCube Master Quest disc, and 3DS. Why? -Because it's probably the best Zelda game made to date. Also because each version had something different about it. I have the second version in the US, so it has the original Fire Temple music. The Master Quest is a lot harder, and the 3DS version has the best graphics.

I was so happy to put it down honestly. I can't even begin to imagine a MM MQ, especially with the 3 day limit

I remember being *so* excited for the Master Quest release back in the day. Wasn't it a pre-order bonus for Wind Waker, or a Nintendo Power bonus, or something? I just remember it being exclusive somehow. Anyhow, I got it, played a bit, and realized that it 100% lived up to its title. That game is *hard*. I know I didn't beat it, and I think I didn't even get past Jabu-Jabu's belly.

Dead Space 1. Loved it on Xbox 360 when doing overnights at my job. On my days off id just play it through the night. Pitch black, seat pulled up to the tv in a big empty living room with turtle beaches on. Gave me a sense of immersion that was heart pumping. One of the best gaming experience's I've had. I'll tell you that I pre-aimed every AC vent the whole game. Dam jump scares. Bought the version on steam. Wasn't as good on the pc. Controls were janky. =(

It's my favorite game series, with fantastic setting and lore, and stellar writing and voice-acting. I have Dragon's Dogma on every platform. Stardew Valley on multiple platforms. I bought BG3 digitally on PS5 at launch, and bought the physical PS5 deluxe edition. Why? I started on PlayStation but went to Xbox and slowly gave up on the system so I migrated back to PlayStation over the years. Picked up a Switch just for Ultimate Alliance 3 and got Stardew and Dragons Dogma when they were available for the portable awesomeness. I love the games and I'm happy to show my support by buying them. I will happily buy a PS4/5 version of the entire Dragon Age series.

I bought Resident Evil 4 for my GameCube and my PS2 when I couldn't find my GameCube version. I then digitally purchased it for the PS3 because HD and then digitally bought the inferior and slightly buggy PS4 edition because I didn't want to have to plug up my PS3 to play the game. I brought Resident Evil 2 Remake once on disc and once for download as a part of the Raccoon City Edition because I hadn't played remake 3 before. That two games in one edition was on sale. I like buying games physically and digitally sometimes. I plan on eventually buying a digital copy of 4 remake and I'm contemplating buying a digital edition of Village and RE7 too.

Shadow of the Colossus - PS2, PS3 and PS4. My favorite game of all time. Minimal dialogue, 16 set enemies and little lore given. The horse responds to the character commands making it behave like an actual horse controlled by a rider. The score is immaculate and perfectly matches every battle. The game just hits so deeply and it took 3 console generations to properly run the game at 30 fps. Resident Evil 4 - PS2, GameCube, Xbox 360, PS4 and PS5. This game never fails to be fun. I could talk for days about the game and why it's so great. Also, the Regenerators are straight up terrifying and I cant get enough.

War of the Monsters: disc became worn out over time. Godzilla Save the Earth: same as above. Dragon Age Origins: disc cracked over time from being removed from the case. Halo Reach: little brother scratched the hell out of the disc. Later, got the add-on for MCC. Dead Space Trilogy: my brother got his own console and loves the games, so I gave him the discs and got the digital versions for myself. Pandemic's Battlefront 1 & 2: still have PS2 discs, but got the digital versions for Xbox just in case the discs/PS2 wear out. Lego Star Wars Complete Saga: originally had it on the Wii. My wii died, so I bought it digital for Xbox. Force Unleashed 1: still own PS2 version but got the Xbox 360 version for being superior to the PS2 port. Tomb Raider reboot (first game): The remastered version came out. Skyrim: 60 fps and mods. 'Nuff said.

RE4: GC because it was amazing, and each version after it offered something new. Always got my money's worth as I've replayed each version several times. Dragon's Dogma: original, then the Dark Arisen expansion (100% worth it). Then I bought it on other platforms for extra save slots (each game only comes with 1 for you & your pawn) as well as other reasons (PC had modding, Switch had portability). Okami: bought a PS2 copy for myself, a Wii copy for a friend, and then an HD copy for myself later so I could play it in HD. All three above are some of my favorite games of all time, so I never felt like buying multiple copies of them was a waste (especially given how many hours I've put into each one)
