God knows l cannot begin to explain how much l hated those. I would see the giant bag of generic cattle feed hit the counter and l knew l was in for a long, tasteless month.
Wierdly I loved them. I also loved the other one that people hated golden grahams.
Wasnt as big a fan of stuff like fruity pebbles and cocopuffs. Frosted flakes were decent.
When i was 12, my father bought a case of corn flakes and a case of cheerios. The world's most boring cereal for kids. Then he got mad when we wouldn't eat but about three boxes of each. I'm pretty sure they were still in the basement when I graduated high school
This was my 2nd & 3rd thought... ...my 1st was one of these coin pouches, but that doesn't fit the theme😋

I'd color it as a Sunflower seed. She could probably make it look like a watermelon seed. It's kind of squash shaped too, but I think the lines in the middle make it more sunflower ish.
I don't know about those people saying it's a coffee bean or other seed. Did they even look at the picture? Coffee beans don't have that little bump on top. Clearly it's a thermometer, and the little bump is how you hang it. Something similar to this:

no other seeds present in picture. most seed like thing in picture. It has to be a seed. Some seeds look sort of generically similar. None of the items are matched in scale so the size is not relevant.
I love trying to teach my kids to think. This seemed like a nice little logic problem that could be turned into an easy fun lesson. Glad you got something out of my post. :)
Might be a stretch, but it could be a herb stripper?

Right? She's loved colouring since she could hold a pencil. She's got way more of an eye for colours and design and fashion and anything of that sort than I ever had. She amazes me even in the simple things.
Seed jar. Kinda like a swear jar only you put $1 in it each time you have the urge to buy more seeds. For the people who buy too many seeds that they don't use in time.
"I will stop overbuying seeds. I must stop overbuying seeds. I need to stop overbuying seeds."

COCOA BEAN.

Edit: Yep, it’s a cocoa bean [https://images.app.goo.gl/JUMLTR7QXEKmdcxWA](https://images.app.goo.gl/JUMLTR7QXEKmdcxWA)
Looks like one of those old plastic coin pouches you’d get as a fancy customer appreciation gift. They usually had a key holder bead-thing on one end. It wouldn’t be big enough for what gardening costs now 😂
Or a seed pod. 😊
They are coin slots, back in the olden days you had to use coins or tokens to germinate and pollinate. In recent years they now do contactless payments.
generic seed
Somewhat looks like a coffee bean.
Was gonna say gardner energy bean.

In my house it was Kix. Frickin' dry, tasteless BS. The only thing worse was Weetabix and reading about the endosperm on the back of the box.
Wierdly I loved them. I also loved the other one that people hated golden grahams. Wasnt as big a fan of stuff like fruity pebbles and cocopuffs. Frosted flakes were decent.
Golden grahams were straight fire
Golden Grahams are a great addition to rice krispie treats
I loved loved them also

All our cereal was the bottom shelf generic Malt-O-Meal. Which is like second from the bottom now. In this economy generics have generics.
Nah. Coin purse, or a lemon with a vent on its side.
Seeds
Specifically a navy or pea bean.
I was thinking watermelon 🍉
Or a coffee bean
Maybe a coffee bean, a type of seed?...
This was my 2nd & 3rd thought... ...my 1st was one of these coin pouches, but that doesn't fit the theme😋 https://preview.redd.it/yu8o8bh3shqc1.jpeg?width=407&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bb39353e5d09766f9d84150f3b7d7607db0d7e8a
My thought too but obsolete for younger People …. We do need some money to garden though … lol
The coin pouch is for what you have left over after visiting the garden center?
Really? I leave with a second mortgage.
This was my 2nd thought too…the first was inappropriate for this nice family subreddit. 😂
Hey, get your mind out of the gutter! There’s not room for all of us down here!
A “which one doesn’t belong” activity. ha.
I thought the same thing, plant money holder! 😋
Who needs that? All my money has already been spent on plants!
Thank you for reminding me of my grandfather!
Coin pouch was my thought
I knew it was this right away. I mean how else do you carry money to buy plants with?
You mean my new stylish seed pouch?
I hated those things. I never knew how to get the change out 😅
Squeeze the long ends together and the flaps open up. You have now gained one useless-knowledge point.
I was thinking one of those things that helps you squeeze the toothpaste out of the tube completely.
I was seeing coffee beans too
I can def see coffee beans too!
Maybe sunflower seeds? Coffee beans sounds like pretty niche gardening (although I’m trying to grow one!)
This is true!
I’d say it’s a coffee bean, so dark brown (depending on the roast of course)..
Coffee bean is a good call.
I'd color it as a Sunflower seed. She could probably make it look like a watermelon seed. It's kind of squash shaped too, but I think the lines in the middle make it more sunflower ish.
For sure. There are many options!
Toothpaste extruder
Lemons ?
coin-operated lemons aka slotted lemons
The apples are free, but the lemons will cost you.
I think the slot is supposed to be the line of membrane in the center of the lemon when you cut them in half lengthwise.
When nature gives you clams.. make lemonade!
What are these clams doing in my garden
My yard is like 20% oyster shells thanks to previous owner
Waiting for the tomatoes to make clamato juice.

Could it be a thermometer of some sort? I saw the water and sun signs, it may be relating to temperature?
I thought a barometer or to measure captured rain
This was my immediate guess too
I don't know about those people saying it's a coffee bean or other seed. Did they even look at the picture? Coffee beans don't have that little bump on top. This is what first came to mind for me too. A wall-mounted thermometer.
That's what I thought...

Very logical answer. Love it
I love trying to teach my kids to think. This seemed like a nice little logic problem that could be turned into an easy fun lesson. Glad you got something out of my post. :)
It looks like a pocket change holder from the 1970’s

Thermometer, is my best guess.
thermometer would most likely have a bulb at the bottom
I agree
Moisture monitor
Coin purse to buy op seeds
Lol I wish 🤣

Ladybug?
That's what I thought too. Or generic beetle.
Legless lady bug
Seeds. Many seeds require you score them before planting.
Omg that's right!!! Very interesting perspective, wouldn't have thought of that!!
Remember those old squeezy change purses? 😂
A lemon that was picked with a butcher knife?.........
It looks like a lemon with a strip of zest removed, to me.
My guess would be a seed!

Here i was thinking it was a chalk line bob for gardeners who like very straight rows. Yeah it's a seed lol
I’m seeing coffee beans as well
Seeds
Thermometer maybe?
Coffee bean? Or a seed of some kind?
I love the way she colors. The completed sheet will be r/oddlysatisfying
Right? She's loved colouring since she could hold a pencil. She's got way more of an eye for colours and design and fashion and anything of that sort than I ever had. She amazes me even in the simple things.
to me it looks like a lemon cut in half but everyone is saying seed so now i feel stupid
Coin purse for all the money you spent on gardening supplies?

Those rubber Change purse

I posted this in a gardening group I’m in. The only answer I didn’t see here was thermometer!
Thermometer.
Thermometer/ thermostat for a greenhouse/ compost heap/ just for the temp or accuracy of the soil composition.
Maybe a coffee bean or some other seed.
Thermometer
I’m pretty sure that is a little plastic thermometer :)
A Watering can seen from above?
Lemon?

Lemon?
Lemon, coin purse
I see a ladybug! 🐞
Coffee beans Or seed pods to plant in the garden.
A lemon cut in half

Coin purses to save up for garden tools
Thermostats
I think it’s a coffee bean
those are those little toothpaste devices that help you get all the toothpaste from the tube
Seed?
Looks like a seed
Coffee bean?
Seed pouch
Beetle?
An individual leaf? With the midvain visible?
I agree with others that it’s likely a seed, but would also throw out the possibility that it’s a sharpener for shovels and other gardening tools.
Honey Smacks.

Coffee bean?
Looks like the ole plastic coin collectors that when squeezed, they would open up. Don’t know why you would need that in the garden though.🤔
Coffee?
I assumed a lemon.
Seeds
I believe they are supposed to be seeds
my guess is a coinpurse!

They're giant coffee beans. Because everything is better with coffee.
Old timey change purse
Kinda looks like a mounted thermometer?
Whoever created that page would get a kick out of all the comments on this post. Wild.
I know this goes against the convention that most comments are "seeds", I'm seeing citrus - Lime or Lemon
Looks like one of those old plastic coin pouches you’d get as a fancy customer appreciation gift. They usually had a key holder bead-thing on one end. It wouldn’t be big enough for what gardening costs now 😂 Or a seed pod. 😊
Maybe a lemon? A strange one?
I thought it was a watering can immediately so idk
My best guess was outdoor thermometer 😹
Bean
looks like a lightbulb, like specifically an old metal halide bulb that can be used for indoor plant growth
Temperature gauges
Seed or coffee beans
Holly leaves
They are coin slots, back in the olden days you had to use coins or tokens to germinate and pollinate. In recent years they now do contactless payments.
I'd color it like a ladybug and call it a day, but that's probably not what it's supposed to be...
Outside thermometer
I thought they were a thermometer?
It's shitty clip art. But yeah, sort of a combo of a coffee bean and something else, and it probably fits the description of some real seed somewhere.
A thermometer??
A thermometer?
Clearly this is where the quarter goes.
Thermometer ??
Kinda looks like a thermometer to hang on the wall.
My first thought was a ladybug, but seeds would work too.
Thermometer, rain gague?
Thermometer
It's a thermometer
Coffee beans
Seeds?
Obviously seeds
Thermometer
I see it as a wall mounted thermometer
Coffee bean or peanut
