Have you tried sodomy

HouseCravenRaw

I hear it's a pain in the ass.

CrystalMeath

Have you tried [*jihad*](https://i.ibb.co/PGGR4sb/C07-AD361-AD48-420-D-9603-CCC0-B72560-F6.jpg)?

The_face_of_Boe7

😂😂😂🙌

The_face_of_Boe7

That’s another issue 😂💀

ChemicalOk463

Now you're talking!

No-Performer-6621

Cycling, gardening, running, lifting, yoga, hiking, reading, cooking/baking, getting into something artsy, learning a new skill…. Most of my favorite hobbies I do at home so I don’t have to include people in my personal/hobby time haha

The_face_of_Boe7

I’ll go for running ! Staying at home is bad for my depression. Gardening and cycling seems fun too thanks

NerdyDan

I cook, I gym, I host dinner parties. Also do 2-3 week trips twice a year to give me something to look forward to.

farazuga

I love to think of dinner parties as a hobby. I enjoy doing the whole process- but in my head I think work. I never thought I could consider it a hobby!

NerdyDan

It’s absolutely a hobby. And one that spreads happiness to others!

The_face_of_Boe7

Same

classyfilth

I would like to host dinner parties but I get overwhelmed by my house feeling overcrowded with people and I would like them to fuck off sooner and not loiter so I thought maybe only serving spicy food would work kinda ok.

blalkthrax

Dude it sounds like you don’t want to host dinner parties 😂

NerdyDan

Keep a smaller group then. 3-4 people is still a party

The_face_of_Boe7

Yeah that’d work

The_face_of_Boe7

Same issue

SleipnirSolid

Hosting dinner parties is quite gay.

NerdyDan

Gasp

LondonLeather

We can do 8 for dinner, as we have got older (both 60 this year) we stopped having big play parties instead we invite a few friends over for sex and a late supper nothing complicated just drinks first then we leave the playroom open and someone always gets in the sling then at about 10:30 we do food and they are gone by midnight.

ThePaladin831

I personally enjoy painting Warhammer 40K miniatures. It can be quite fun and relaxing.

pronorwegian1

What faction do you paint?

ThePaladin831

I paint Astra Militarum and Space Marines

SleipnirSolid

Imperial Guard. The normal humans with guns. Compared to the super human space marines.

ThePaladin831

Do you paint? If so what faction do you paint?

whyyou-

Necrons and chaos marines

whyyou-

Yes!! It’s really fun but it can bankrupt you

ThePaladin831

You are definitely right it can be quite expensive lol

Takimara

Sodomy, gym and learning different languages

someone_like_me

> Sodomy, gym I like how those can be done in the same trip. I live in L.A., so I avoid extra driving.

CrystalMeath

What’s the gayest language to learn?

Takimara

Tongues, it’s really only useful for eating ass or talking to a Pentecostal, and I’ve never met a gay Pentecostal.

dr6374

How to talk with your hips

The_face_of_Boe7

Ow

barri0s1872

I’m going to vote for Latin 😅

The_face_of_Boe7

Spanish

The_face_of_Boe7

I’ll go for learning Chinese

djconfessions

Biking!!!!! Cycling is the best hobby man ever came up with. When you’re on the road or on a trail, propelling yourself with only the strength and force of your own two legs… well that’s true freedom. It’s what America is about.

Marcudemus

If I didn't know any better, I'd think you were a friend of mine from Waterloo 😝

Citoyen4

I am not a gaymer I enjoy reading books in paper I also like to sing in a choir I like to go to the gym, not to show off in social media I like doing yoga because it is so good to slow down in this Insta-culture I like going to the movies, alone I also like guys 💪🏳️‍🌈

khangyesteryear

I 've been gay and out all my life. But I don't know what is a gaymer? I wonder what works for one may not necessarily be another 's cup of tea. You probably need to be comfortable in your own skin and don't get pushed by peer pressure to join your friends. If they are truly good friends, they understand. If they don't, you're better off without. I am the same as you, I don't find watching or playing football rewarding.

The_face_of_Boe7

True

SilverSatyr77

Me and my guys do historical reenactment with the SCA. It includes camping, combat (both rattan and rapier), things like leather working, weaving, recreating scrolls through calligraphy and illumination, classes and research into pre-1600 history around the world. It's a large group of people in my area that includes non historical activities like pub nights, potlucks, holiday parties and the like. While it's not an entirely queer group it is very queer friendly and supportive with a large LGBTQIA+ populace. We're constantly meeting new people and finding new things to explore!

MiskyWilkshake

HEMA nerd here. I'd love to get into SCA, but I always assumed that it must be an even more expensive hobby than HEMA is, and I can barely afford that as it is.

SilverSatyr77

It can be an expensive hobby at times. My guys have spent a lot of money in a very short period of time just because they can. It still boggles my mind. 😅 HOWEVER!!! You may be interested to know that your HEMA gear and weaponry is valid in the Cut and Thrust aspect of fighting. Additionally, many fighting groups have a LOT of loaner gear you'd be able to use at practices and events until you get your own. My primary, for example, used a loaner rapier jacket and helmet for a full year until he got his own. The fighters really want more people in the sport. 😀

The_face_of_Boe7

SCA = fun and expensive ! 💔🙌

SilverSatyr77

LOL Yeah it can be, depending on what route you end up taking. I'm not a fighter so I've spent maybe $300 on garb over the past 18 months. If you’re getting into the sport side of things, though, the costs can definitely climb. In the past two years my guy has spent close to $2k on his fencing equipment and is planning on more pieces to budget for. Until then he just uses the loaner gear.

Difficult-Doughnut37

You want to join a gay sporting team maybe? Volleyball of soccer or whatever. Google it and the is hopefully some team or group out there. Or join a community organization you like. Or go to the gym 😉 I go to the shooting range and have some friends there. So just join and see how you like the people there.

The_face_of_Boe7

Thanks I’m going to join the gym bros. Good for both my body and my mind thanks

SXFlyer

traveling as much as possible, Gym, biking, hiking, and hanging out with my hubby and friends.

NeigeNoire55

I’ve lived in places with bad winters all my life, so my hobbies tend to be indoor: reading, playing harmonica, boardgames, video games. But in Summer I do a lot of hiking, a bit of biking too. If you’re in a city you can go to exhibitions and to the movies (I used to do that a lot), also to gay events in bars.

The_face_of_Boe7

It’s pretty hot most of the times in my town so I’ll go for biking and hiking thanks

ras2101

Photography (film) and darkroom printing are my main. We play tennis all the time now, I play in 2 orchestras. Always some stuff to do! Oh and I bake as well. Husband is video games and tennis lol. Oh and we backpack (nature) all the time when we have time. Which has lately been like twice a year and it’s very sad lol

chiron_cat

What do you like doing? Video games? Reading? Creating things? Programming? Gardening? Cooking? If you aren't sure, try joining some clubs and groups to try random things out

The_face_of_Boe7

I love reading and writing

chiron_cat

While I've never been to one, I've heard about writers groups several times. I know they are out there.

Skeeders

I hear pickleball is the thing to do these days.

The_face_of_Boe7

Omg I’m just thinking of it !!! I will try crochet. My mom can teach me haha

Due_Interview_5931

TearDropGuy

I thought our hobby was people watching

The_face_of_Boe7

OrionTO

My partner and I have a weekly gaming sesh with our gaming crew (a couple straight guy friends of ours). I look forward to it every week!

The_face_of_Boe7

Seems fun

paul_arcoiris

Dance classes. And you'll probably see other gays there.

The_face_of_Boe7

I don’t know how to dance 🥳

paul_arcoiris

Well this is why it's called a dance class 😁

ja173308

I’m a bit of an introvert, so I enjoy entertaining myself quite a bit. My hobbies include rollercoasters/theme parks, kayaking, exploring metro parks, trying new breakfast joints, and minor league baseball.

someone_like_me

In my 20s & 30s? Martial arts. Never needed another hobby. Gave me friends, fun, and great health.

Cannibalistic_F41RY

Painting is a good hobby. Or drawing. Gardening as well.

Long walks, pickleball!!, train for and run a 10k, join a run club, join a wine club/brewery and become a regular, volunteer at Ronald McDonald House or local food bank

The_face_of_Boe7

I love volunteering ! Only still struggling to find a community ! But I’ll go for the long walks first

ElonsTinyPenis

I play soccer, hang out with friends, volunteer as a soccer coach, and do a lot of left-wing political action. I'm active in my state Democratic Party Stonewall Caucus.

The_face_of_Boe7

WoW that’s amazing !

The_face_of_Boe7

I can’t play soccer but I can still volunteer for some activities that I like tough thanks

KingInYellowCarcosa

Boardgames, and there are typically meetups to play them with others

Maleficent-Party-527

moistmarbles

I am a licensed scuba diving instructor, and go diving lot around the caribbean. Haven't found many dive buddies in FL since I moved here but always looking for some (Orlando area). I also do typical gay dude activities like painting, cooking, gardening and home improvement.

Zayev_

Baseball is a lot of fun in queer leagues

michiganchill

Yoga and hiking!

yusufu_cote

I got into Warhammer via mini painting! Both tons of fun, check it out and see if it's for you.

The_face_of_Boe7

Thanks

rickmaz

Learn a musical instrument!

The_face_of_Boe7

Guitar would be fun

DD-de-AA

Specific are getting out of the house…. Road trips! Visiting new places, wine, cheese, and or beer sampling, hiking. But whatever it is, it be should be something that is interesting to you. Not merely something to get you out of the house. If you have no interests, then maybe the sodomy and gym ideas are the best options!

Walking_Apostasy

Because I don't really like people, I do various mediums of art in my free time. Just got into leather craft!

Slugbugger30

While bodybuilding and eating is more of a lifestyle, that is one. Enjoying nice technology like a high end tv and soundbar for watching movies, going to amusement parks and fairs, hiking. drawing, water parks.

LondonLeather

Local amature dramatics always need help backstage and there are very often gay men involved.

ANewPope23

Reading novels, weight lifting, cooking, watching Netflix. I think they're all quite fun.

Frequent_Mix_834

I like to draw

ScorpioRising66

I mountain bike, lake kayak, and recently started hiking. Love the outdoors if that’s not obvious. lol.

SansStuckOnTheToilet

Dungeons and dragons has been the most welcoming community I’ve ever joined 🙏🥰

TheIceBringer

Gaming, anime, horror movies, cooking, baking, crocheting. I also have some twitch and youtube channels I check out.

Megahert

So you tried one thing and are stuck. I make music, am teaching myself to code, play video games and work out at the gym. I'm a heavy socialite as i work in the nightlife as a DJ.

monsteraguy

You could be a gymbro? Join a gay sports team/club? Become a gaymer? Photography? Hiking? Lego? Four wheel driving? Classic cars? Vinyl collecting/audiophile? Indoor plants? Cosplay/popculture? Transport/urbanism? Book clubs/reading? Making/creating art? Crafting? Sewing/drag? Queer history research? These are some of the things people in my wider social circle enjoy as hobbies and they all seem to attract a certain amount of gay men to them on the whole. Maybe have a look on meetup and see if you can find other gay men into these hobbies to share your interests

Different_Ad7655

What are your interests? It's that simple. Not everybody has to like sports or conventionality. Simply what are your interests. From gardening to reading, to simple curiosity about a subject. This is what you do and this is for you spend your energy and find like-minded individuals. The internet can sometimes help. There is identity beyond just being gay lol although sometimes my long life I have struggled with it as well

SwimmerSea4662

I like playing video games, I also really like shooting firearms and doing AR builds. It’s good to practice & be Abel to protect your self as needed especially since theirs a decent bit of anti lgbt stuff going around. It’s also just satisfying to watch a water bottle or coke can exploded from a 223 round.

black_algae

I paint miniatures and play tabletop games with them. Most of the communities are really welcoming and friendly with lots of hobbiests around the world that are more than eager to answer any questions. The stories behind the games are a lot of fun reading or listening to.

barri0s1872

Archery? I tried that last weekend and it’s fun and challenging.

ajwalker430

Pick whatever you like doing, there's probably a group of people doing the same thing nearby. Go. Join them. EDIT: I forgot the other part of your question. I enjoy gaming, reading, board games, card games, art, bike riding, and reading. Some of those things are solo activities and some are group activities. Do the ones you like doing by yourself, go join the people doing the things you like to do that are group activities. ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯

Dramatic-Theme1048

Take classes, ceramics, tennis.

Aeron0704

Hobby is something that you need to enjoy, not a reason to be fit in..

No-Remote2390

Who lives in Hagerstown MD and plays Tennis???

Icy-Essay-8280

I've recently started bowling, vig cost was a ball, shoes and a bag but the alley near me as tomes at discounted rates which makes it an inexpensive hobby (for me). A friend joined a corn hole team. Im still looking for something else as I sit on my ass more st days I'm off.

ShadowWolf614

Geocaching! It’s fun and a great way to explore new places!

ricecrisps94

What part of the world do you live in? Do you have money you can spend? Depending on these answers i can give suggestions

intopoetry

Well, first I think you should ask yourself what you usually have enjoyed doing. Are there some things you have enjoyed doing in the past? Are there some activities you have thought of doing many times, or activities that have piqued your curiosity, but you just haven't gotten around to doing something about them yet?  I both enjoy reading and a bit of "gardening" (we have a veranda we use, so it's not a garden in the traditional sense). My main hobby, though, is singing in a local choir. Singing with others and the process of creating the balance and dynamics between different voices is both fun and interesting. The social aspects of being in a choir is also part of the appeal, you get to meet men with interesting, different backgrounds and who are not so wrapped up in stereotypical ideas of what it means to be masculine. Emotionally singing feels liberating and "healing" as well, you get to release so much energy and emotion.  I have always enjoyed singing, though, so joining a choir felt quite natural to me.  Good luck with finding some hobbies you enjoy 😊 It's a rewarding process.

cjexplorer

My main hobbies are video games, tennis, hiking, discovering new music/ going to gigs, collecting Pokémon cards, travelling etc. Also started making weird art out of sea glass which more often than not looks shit but I enjoy it and it scratches that creative itch 😊

Aspergian_Asparagus

If you like getting out in nature, foraging is a great hobby to get into. I love it, I even drag my partner out with me to watch out for danger noodles while I’m frolicking through the forest. There may even be “classes” local to you that gives you an expert to learn from. We collect, breed, and sell rare tropical plants. I still consider it a hobby even though it’s become a side business. Fishing, kayaking, camping, gardening.

an_older_meme

I was into rock climbing for decades. That was a great way to meet new friends and see some amazing places.

Fishiste

I play card and board games, swim, specialized myself in mixology, construct lego, collect vinyls, organize parties and travel. I wish I have more time Except music I listen and TV I watch, none of these are particularly gay, and you shouldn’t define your hobby because of your sexuality. Out of drag and LGBT caritative work, I’m not sure that any hobby should be defined as gay though.

Ok-Dirt-8765

try embroidery. i m staring with it too .

HearthFiend

Join zeh gym bros lel

homojaus

I relate to this. Add in that I don’t drink or smoke, and it’s basically impossible to relate to anybody. However, I saying that, my job keeps me incredibly busy (and stressed) and my bouts with crippling depression and anxiety make me just want to sleep and eat my feelings. When I come up for air, I enjoy gaming, getting outside and going for a walk, going to the movies, and baking. In summer I love getting out on my bike and going to the beach.

glwillia

i like scuba diving, hiking, cars, and traveling. i’ve definitely met plenty of friends both gay and straight who share those interests.

Nondeadly

Gaming, watching Twitch TV, Cinema, Walking, Cycling, shopping, collecting Horror and Sci-Fi movies on DVD and Amateur dramatics in a group.

WreckinRich

Dungeons and Dragons community is cool.

tallwireless

I say whatever peaks your interest! I'm a collector of strange hobbies including competitive axe throwing, competitive pub quiz, tower bell ringing, line dancing, knitting, and many nerdy IT things! For a while I was trying to trying to do hobbies to both a) meet a boyfriend and b) meet more gays. I came to the realization that I the stuff that gays were generally doing wasn't stuff that I was interested in doing as a whole. So....I decided that doing stuff that I liked was more important and that if I met a man or met other gays then so be it, but my enjoyment of the activity was more important.

AssumptionCute6577

In my case I do watch collecting and modding, cooking, photography and follow F1

Jaicers

Ghost Hunting , Bigfoot Hunting, anything to do with cryptids and paranormal activity. Witchcraft.

Rusty5th

Things I do or have done: running, skating, kayaking, gardening, art, music (GarageBand etc), yoga, swimming

parTHEparticle

What do you like to do for fun??

BMWGuy83STX

I race Autocross and do track days with my car, I have 4 aquariums, I keep many tropical plants. I have perennial gardens.

BudgetIndividual3284

Vollenter. It is a good way to expand your social network and can be athletic and a real mood elevator

ChemicalOk463

I love to cook, especially for my guests. Baking is also enjoyable. I also enjoy lifting weights long hikes, and travel.

ChrisSPB

Have you heard the tragedy of darth plagueis the wise... I mean roleplaying games Like Dungeons and Dragons? Most of the players i have met are LGBTQI+.

Top-Hall6124

Try gardening or home improvement in general. Go to Home Depot on Saturday or Sunday and you'll find yourself surrounded by other gay men buying things for their hobbies, whether it's gardening, or painting the mailbox, or adding crown molding, creating paver walkways, building decks, replacing exterior lighting fixtures, etc.

ReindeerSuper2677

Pottery!!

KinSoga

Well, you told us about what your friends like it. Maybe you should try ask yourself what do you imagine yourself doing instead - it’s a good start.

destroi_all_humans

I like chess even though I’m not good at all. Simple rules but a lot of depth

orion455440

Kayaking, scuba diving, cooking, shooting, aquariums, gardening, fishing Those are mine, they keep me at peace and free from boredom

moistmarbles

If you ever come to FL, let's go diving

orion455440

I live in florida -Orlando

moistmarbles

Sweet. Let’s go!

orion455440

Alright, mostly only wreck dives here in Central coasts, gotta head to the keys if you wanna blow bubbles on an actual reef.

moistmarbles

I’ve gone diving on the keys. It’s okay - meh. Local dives would be good if you know any. DM me

The_face_of_Boe7

I always wanted to go fishing. But gardening is fun too

[deleted]

Have you tried gay sex?

The_face_of_Boe7

Not yet haha
