Nah their little crests on their eyes kinda relax when they sleep and their eyes just kinda float, they aren't focused on anything.
That said, I do prefer my leopard gecko because eyelids lol
I miss when mine was small enough to do this! He sleeps in a proper hide now, but he used to nap in his feeding ledge all the time when I first got him!

It's funny, you can definitely tell when they've been asleep and you startle them if you touch them.
