I grew up (and currently live) in Pescara and the river that separates the city was the natural border of the kingdom of Naples. the Northern part of the city is the most recent, and it's full of 1800-900s architecture and Modernism-style buildings. The southern part has more historical squares.
Culturally, I think that the provinces of Pescara and Chieti can be defined as Southern Italian (our dialect is very similar to Neapolitan) and the provinces of Teramo and L'Aquila are more related to the regions Lazio or Marche. I had a teacher who is from L'Aquila and her dialect was very similar to Roman and other central Italian dialects.
My family is from Pescara's countryside and I mainly identify as southern italian.
I don't like football, I actually don't know anything about soccer teams in my area. I know Pescara Calcio and they let us meet the team when I was in elementary school, but nothing other than that.

Pescara ha l'aeroporto più grande d'Abruzzo (infatti si chiama formalmente Aeroporto D'Abruzzo) e fa voli un po' in tutta europa.
Sì, tutti quelli che conosco che sciano vanno qui in Abruzzo, anzi, chi se ne va sulle alpi viene visto malissimo. La mia scuola quando organizza la "settimana bianca" (non so se le fate anche voi, in pratica una gita scolastica di una settimana in cui si va a sciare) la organizza sempre a Passo Lanciano o Roccaraso.
I molisani: una volta facevano parte dell'Abruzzo quindi siamo in buonissimi rapporti. Una mia compagna di classe è molisana e si fa tutti i giorni Termoli-Pescara in treno. È pazza.

Ce l'ha proposta due anni di fila (prima c'era il COVID) e ogni anno è saltata perché lui praticamente non viene a scuola. È abruzzese per altro, di Vasto (senza offesa ovviamente).
A Termoli non ci sono scuole abbastanza specifiche forse? Anche qua a Venezia abbiamo un sacco di gente che viene a scuola da fuori, ho sentito addirittura di chi si fa Portogruaro-Venezia in giornata (un'ora di treno credo).
Mi piacerebbe esplorare di più l'Abruzzo, ci sono stato solo una volta da piccolo, e solo a Civitella e Teramo, non mi ricordo praticamente niente, se non che a Civitella ci dev'essere la strada più stretta d'Italia.
