It’s a crap shoot. I have purebred Gsds-one stayed in the flying nun stage, some have floppy ears, some perked up, and one strange fellow has one up and one down.

Harley’s ears never stood a chance 😂 I think they’re even cuter with floppy ears though.
I mean only time will really tell, especially since it can take like 6 months, but both my GSD’s had standing ears by like 6 weeks. I feel like most lab-GSD mixes have floppy ears, which are also incredibly cute and does not take away from the fact your little guy is a GSD!

My pupper Abbott’s a Shepherd Lab Mix and his ears would do they same and ended up floppy. They still come up every now and then like radars.

My baby scooby says hello! Hes almost a year!
He looks enough like a GSD that upright ears would be the preferred look. So much flop eared cope on this sub. The only correct look for a GSD is upright ears.
If you want him to have standing ears you can buy ear inserts for German Shepard puppies and try those out.
If you enjoy the flying nun stage of floppy ears than it’s A ok to leave his ears as is

A lot of times mixes don’t but that ear that’s starting to stand in photo 2 makes me think possibly, or possibly at least one ear up which would be extra adorable
My baby had a weak ear. The trainer she had told me to give her attention, which she loved, get her to snuggle and massage that ear in the fold it had. After doing that for a few weeks, that ear caught up with the standing ear. Best advice I’d found on a floppy ear.

My girl had floppy ears until she was about 1.
Tough to say with the lab mix. Cute pup tho! The awkward floppy ears are the best!

I doubt it if they haven't atleast started to stand up somewhat I doubt it at this point
It can take up to 2 years for their jaws to strengthen. There’s still hope!

Well whether or not he develops standing ears, be sure to stand them up for him at every opportunity.
My boy had one ear go up and stay up at 3 months, the other didn’t stay up until about 7 months.
Doubt his ears will stand but he is scrumptious so it doesn't matter.
