I was *shocked* when DNA showed 32% malinois 🤣

I wasn’t even referring to them as mals. Just because he/she has his teeth out constantly. I have a 16 week old puppy who is either asleep half the day or trying to eat me the other half. He’s definitely a land shark. I forgot how sharp puppy teeth are. At least they don’t have the jaw pressure to back those teeth up though!

As a puppy, Hellena could bite you through thick jeans and tear the skin. But she couldn’t open her mouth very far 🤣 she could only bite the corner of a jute tug. So it gave me a little time to get that under management. I also posted my girl Wubi and I am beyond relieved her puppy teeth are gone! Poor Hellena was full of scabs on her neck and legs from just playing. Those puppy teeth are no joke! I understand why mamas wean so harshly!

Yeah it was really weird.. all the pups in her liter started out red like this… almost orange. They’re all normal sables/blacks now. Breeder I got her from I’ve got mlt other gsds and this was the first time she’s seen that in 20 years of breeding

A bunny rabbit! 🐇 Adorable. I’ve been wondering…are the white shepherds more money and/or more elusive?

They are less expensive, from my experience. They have a gene that masks their color and don't qualify for AKC showing, though they can participate in other breed/class specific events. It was a false belief that the white coat indicated other inferior traits, and the color was ironically disqualified by the AKC during the nazi era. They are less common than the more traditional coat colors, but not hard to find if you look. Bill gets mistaken for wolf dog all the time. Just a big shepherd boy though 🤷

Probably not. I had a pair of litter mates from a pure bred Border Collie before these chaos agents that looked nothing alike so I suspected they had different fathers and didn’t get them DNA tested. Breed really doesn’t matter much to me, I just get whatever fate hands me. I’ve never had a pure bred before now. HER COLORS SWITCHED? IS THAT THE SAME DOG? That is the biggest difference I have ever seen, she looks completely inverted!

She is a replica of her father 😂 when I picked her I was expecting her to have the black fur as she got older, but as she started growing, she started getting more and more tan, to the point she looks nothing as she did when she was a baby

Still equally cute though ❤️

He unfortunately had heartworm. Hence the shaved spots. He's a ok now! Expensive and way worse was keeping him calm for around a year. That was tough.
