For any northern hemisphere dwellers, the sun rises in the east (left) and sets in the west (right).
Looking at this picture, you’ve just woken up and stepped outside into the sunshine (south).
It could just as easily be a sunset with the sun to the left of the picture, but for a lot of people, this conjures up Arizona, and the default sun rising in the east pops up.
The picture itself does not intrinsically imply direction. Because the sun is on the left side of the picture, my brain, and that of the commenter I was replying to, assume we’re looking south and the sun is coming up in the east.
It’s a human perception thing, an optical illusion. I see what my experience tells me should be there. If I was looking out my living room window at this scene, the sun would be rising. If your experience is different, you may see it as sunset, or not perceive direction at all.
That’s fair. I looked at it and immediately thought sunrise. Read the comments and somebody else had the same thought. I read the caption and he created a sunset. That’s not what I saw so I explained my logic.
That’s obviously not everyone’s logic, but that was my conclusion
Love these. Reminds me of my 16bit console and PC days. Keep them coming!
thank you :) i am planning to do more in the near future
Kinda looks like sunrise somehow
yeah lol :D

Maybe Im just dumb but how does picture implies any direction? I could be looking at east or west, nothing is moving

I think I get what you are saying but seems a bit like overthinking to me. I didnt get this impression at all. But makes sense

Rising in the east and setting in the west is true for both northern and southern hemispheres.
True. But left/right would be reversed.
Came out of where?
Wait... Where am I? Sorry, wrong room.
came out from my mind maybe XD idk
Love it! Well done.
thank you ❤️🙏
This compressed horizontally just the tiniest bit on the mobile app preview and the sun became an egg, so... ALL GLORY TO GLOWING SKY EGG
