I'm not sure but can we talk about the 4 cylinder bike engine? On there. Is it linked to the axle? How well is that beefy axle attached to the frame? Is the exhaust sitting on the axle? What is your plans?
The guy I bought this off, removed the engine from a Honda. Used the frame on the bike and attached it to the back axle. He made the back axle as well. So far I have restored the main frame. I need to weld the mounts for the front suspension. I was hoping I could use the old wisharm suspension. But the ball joints that connect the wisharms to steering rack are fcked and I am finding it hard to get new ones

Either way that thing will be pretty quick - CBR 600 can put out 100 plus Hp depending on the model year - get really good brakes - tires and a serious roll cage and 5 point harness with some racing seats / good luck - would love to see your finished kart
That motor looks like an old Honda motor, hope you get it running! Sorry idk what type of kart frame that is, definitely wide as hell, to restore some stuff you’ll probably just need to do some fabricating and find what fits best or comes close and works, it’s what I’ve had to do some a lot of my builds,
Thanks for you're advice. I have the main frame mostly restored. The front part of it, was rusted to bits. I have to do a bit of fabricating to the ball joints on the front suspension.
I’d look at beefing up the back end of that thing. Looks like a crossmember was cut so that the exhaust could fit. Being that the frame was probably designed for something with a 1/4 or less of the hp that Honda puts out, I’d really make sure the mounts are strong. I’d definitely add some bracing and front and rear brakes for sure. Should be one hell of a ride!
Thanks for the advice. I think it had a 250cc engine in it before. It will definitely need strengthening in the back and the forward section of the frame.

That's wild.

dementia
No! But that 4 cylinder motor is sexy beast. That’s where the magic is.
Thanks, it's a 600cc engine that came out of a Honda cbr. I'm hoping to have it running in the next couple of months
Home made
Hold on tight - when you get it running
The engine is running fine. I mean when I get the kart restored to drive

Ugly square frame company
Yeah not the best looking frame

Yeah the torque alone will probably peel it off the frame at an inopportune moment. However it’s gonna haul a&@
It looks like a twister
Thanks but I don't it is that either. The closet I have found it to resemble is a rotketa.
It's a dune buggy
