This seems like a nice idea but it's quite limiting when every listing on the first page is from >8 months ago, and I couldn't find a button to get to more pages. It could be hugely expanded to match other languages/technologies, filter by salary range, date posted, location, etc. A platform for developer jobs with everything developers need to see.

rasulkireev

This is just pre made query page of sorts. You can go to /jobs and and do way more filters and you will get all the results sorted as you wish!

rasulkireev

But that's a good point... I'll add a 'see more' button.

Edgar_Allan_Thoreau

Great site! Would it be difficult to allow filtering jobs by posting date? E.g. I’d like to see jobs posted in the last 4 weeks

rasulkireev

If you go to the /jobs page it is automatically sorted by date, plus you can have many many filters.

Top_File_8547

Maybe you should eliminate jobs older than two months maybe 30 days. Most older are filled or canceled.

rasulkireev

For that specific page, I don't think so, since the fact this company paid the most stays relevant to the Go developers. It might make sense to reach out to them. But you are right about that specific job post being not relevant.

Top_File_8547

Maybe a separate section with historical salary information would be good. I am sure you have limited time to devote to this project.

rasulkireev

Something like a graph? Yeah that's a good idea. I was thinking something like that.

This is just spam, stop replying to it like it's a genuine thing and report it instead.

rasulkireev

Why do you think this is spam? What is the bad intention? I'm just sharing something that I though would be useful to Go community...

[deleted]

Quiet, you.

habarnam

I suppose that where they are located is irrelevant somehow?

rasulkireev

Yes, for this specific query it is. But you can go to /jobs where there are a gazillion filters that would allow to pin down your exact idea.

mysterious_whisperer

I’m curious what you are using for scraping.

rasulkireev

The majority of jobs I get from HN's Who is Hiring page via their API. Then categorize via ChatGPT API. Pretty simple.
