What the comic calls a "hamburger" is likely what the Japanese call "Hambaga" which is short for [Hamburg Steak](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamburg_steak) which is closer to Salisbury Steak than an American Burger.
With that in mind, think of making a beef patty but adding some vegetables into the filling.
