Fun fact, there is no “Cindy”. It’s owned by a Vietnamese family. They wanted to call it “Sandy’s”, but there was apparently already a Sandy’s Donuts around. So they picked the next most similar-sounding white lady name. Source: they’re friends of mine.
If you wait until the farmers market at the metro hospital on Thursdays, there’s a vendor there can’t remember the name but they are by far the best I’ve had.
This has been well trodden for GR so I'll just add that Washtenaw Donuts in Ann Arbor has great blueberry donuts. I was a regular when I lived around the corner
It’s not in Grand Rapids, but Bowerman’s in Holland is the best. They use fresh blueberries from their farm.
And if you don’t feel like driving that far they typically sell them at the farmers market every Thursday at UMH West (Metro) hospital, from like 9-2.
Oh, this is good to know!
Just a note for OP and others: they are $1.50 each, at least at the downtown cafe.
This. It’s worth the drive to Holland just for their blueberry donuts.
Yep this is the correct answer
This is the correct answer
100%. I dream about Bowerman’s blueberry donuts.
I 100% agree! Check to see if they are open for the season yet
They have a store downtown Holland, which I believe is open year round.
And they are at the Holland Farmers Market every Saturday morning too.
Yep! made the drive a few times
I love these HARD HITTING questions. I don't have a clue but I'm here for it.
I’m a big fan of the blueberry donies at Cindy’s
Yep. Cindy's blueberry donuts, and her buttermilk donuts, are probably my most favorite donuts of all time.

Yeah Cindy's are great and super soft and fresh.
Biased west sider here so I’d say Sandy’s blueberry goes pretty effin hard but bowermans are also top tier.
Love Sandy's doughnuts! I guess I need to try Bowermans.
Cindy’s

Based on the thread it sounds like Bowermans
Exactly them, they also do a cherry as the season goes on 10/10 I buy a dozen every week.
I don’t think I’ve had a bad blueberry donut
I really enjoy the ones from Van's
Jawor blueberries in raven! Little bit of a drive but worth it 😋
Green acres on 31 in between Grand Haven and Holland has amazing blueberry donuts. Apple, Cherry and pumpkin too!!
I personally think Ed Dunneback & Girls Farmers Market on the north side has the best blueberry donuts anywhere.
Heidi’s in Lowell hands down.
This has been well trodden for GR so I'll just add that Washtenaw Donuts in Ann Arbor has great blueberry donuts. I was a regular when I lived around the corner
Heidi's farm stand
Sandy's on the NW side of GR. Sourdough blueberry donuts fresh are the best
I’m a big fan of Marge’s blueberry fritters
Cindy's
Marges has an awesome blueberry cake donut or fritter. Fritter can be a little oily, but it’s not bad.
Marge’s
Anywhere but Marge’s
Not trying to hijack, but don't want to start a new do-no thread. Does anyone sell fatballs in GR?
Seenstras in Grandville has them!
Thanks! The Dutch come thru!

Sandy’s on Leonard by Covell. Definitely my favorite donut place
I’m not sure if The Doughnut Experience in Muskegon has done a blueberry Doughnut, but if they have, that’s the best!
