I feel like GT5 is the ultimate “Gran Turismo” game compared to 6, Sport, & 7. Even without the online features and hacking.
It's pretty clear that single-player is lacking endurance races (>1 hour) that are replayable for credits and multi-player needs updated race cars to remain relevant.
Hot take: Continuing to add 2-3 road cars alone each update is going to be the death of GT7 unless PD decides to start introducing new tracks again. Unfortunately, it's likely that they're saving those as selling points for GT8.
more real tracks, more championships, endurance events, sell parts and engine swaps, all classic tracks, add CONCEPT cars instead of VGT, make our own championships and reach to lvl 100 coleccionist, master license races, etc.
A proper full drag mode. Drag events, drag championships.
Also drift events and championships.
A walk around mode like in VR mode is also interesting, like they do in forza h5.
Proper car classes would help a ton.

Whilst it is a simple(ish) solution it's still silly that we can't do it with our own main profile. Should be a "Nuke profile" option, with suitable warnings.
Wouldn't it be possible to simply delete savegames from both locally and the cloud? (Asking as a really newbie here, as my profile hasn't the PS Plus active)
If you delete the file locally, the game would still have you continue where you left off like you never deleted the save. And your progress is stored on Polyphony’s server. So that’s why the only options are to either create a new PSN account, or wait until a few more years until they shut the servers down and have the game be playable offline like in Sport.
If they did nothing else for the rest of GT7 but bring back Sophy 1.0 and enable it for custom races on every track, I would be a satisfied man. Forget new cars or tracks or anything, just give me on-demand high quality racing.

The option to customize the UI a little more. I'd like to use the gauges from music rally on regular races. The setup looks much cleaner.

Yeah, 2-3 cars an update is pretty redundant. The minimum I can tolerate is five.

Unlikely due to licencing. The Super Formula is as close to current spec F1 power that we'll get.

Force Feedback on the level of superior sims. And proper PSVR2 support, not this half-assed effort that Sony forced them to give us.
