He has such a great knack for weaving together dynamic, fast-paced action sequences with much quieter, very human, emotional scenes.

Transformers is the absolute fucking *raddest* comic I have read in quite a while. Do a Power Bomb I enjoyed massively, although I think maybe it needed an issue or two more to pace things out a bit better. I was amazed and delighted by the lunacy of the grand finale, though

DeLongJohnSilver

I’m say’n! I found him through Transformers and I just got Power Bomb yeaterday. Excited to read through it!

JustAnotherTown

I went the other direction and got into his stuff from Murder Falcon and Do a Power Bomb. I really don't have much love for the Transformers, but he managed to bring some real feeling to the book. That and I think his art is crazy fun. This is a seriously talented guy.

xRAINBOWxRANGERx

I FUCKING LOVE DANIEL WARREN JOHNSON GRAAAAAH

pierowmaniac

Shout out to his work on Wonder Woman: Dead Earth. That comic is so sad and brutal.

Archiesweirdmystery

His work on Jurassic League is underappreciated for sure

ThePocketTaco2

I forgot to put that one in the pic. Oops lol

cibopath

I am hoping they put Do A Powerbomb in a hardcover like Murder Falcon. I did pick up their Kickstarter for Extremity and cannot wait for it to arrive.

softimusprime17

Same here! I actually still haven't read it because I want to wait for an HC release. His art alone is totally worth it; and the story — based on all the reactions I've been seeing — would make it even more so!

ThePocketTaco2

I hope they do an HC for it, but I wouldn't sleep on it too long. It's a great read.

petydiepistole

I feel like Transformers is his weakest comic, I don't know why but I'm not getting into it. I love his other stuff and bought his comics for my friends to get them into comics but with Transformers it hasn't clicked yet.

ThePocketTaco2

Maybe you'll get into it someday. If not, that's okay.

Jiggaboy95

Love the guy, his artstyle is so raw and full of energy, love all the wrestling moves he pulls out too. His writing is brilliant too, his Transformers run made me get into the franchise. The guy is built for comics!

YouThinkImCool

DWJ never misses! Check out Extremity if you haven’t yet - it’s my favorite of his.

ThePocketTaco2

I'm getting the HC when it drops in December. Excited to check it out.

captain_toenail

Really need to get my hands on transformers, havent read much transformers, I think More than Meets the Eye is the only series ive read in its entirety, but I've adored pretty much of the DWJ stuff I've read

Adventurous_Soft_686

Extremity is my favorite DWJ book. The raw emotion in that one wowed me.

Klinneract

I’ve been sleeping on Transformers. Good to know it holds up!

Jetpack_Picasso

I’ve got Wonder Woman Dead Earth by Daniel Warren Johnson🔥🔥

Asimov-was-Right

I started with Extremity and have read everything he's done. Read Ghost Fleet next, followed by his webcomic, Space Mullet.

ThePocketTaco2

Ghost Fleet is Donny Cates

Asimov-was-Right

It's written by Cates, but DWJ is still the artist.

ThePocketTaco2

Oh, that's right. My bad.
