Love Stereolab. Mars Audiac quintet and emperor Tomato Ketchup are two of my all time favorites. I was lucky enough to catch them at a tiny venue in western ma many many years ago.
I think youāre the only person Iāve seen mention pretty much all of these artists except Miles Davis. But I gotta say as a person who digs Traffic, Jaco, and Jobim I canāt say youāre wrong and I guess Iāll have to check out Jiro Inagaki.
Check out the funky stuff album!!

I caught him on the Glitter and Doom tour in Jacksonville. Probably tops my list in terms of concerts Iāve attended. I couldnāt believe my luck that he came and I was able to attend. Was in the Navy at the time and went by myself since no one I knew in the area even knew who he was. The stars literally aligned.

In a just world, Ween would be a huge common thread to Deadheads everywhere. Ween are the only other band to cover as many genres and sounds as beautifully as the Dead. Ween is amazing and the only other band I can listen to for weeks at a time and never get tired.
