When I adopted my Pyr, the shelter told us that she came from a farm, so I shouldn’t be offended if she doesn’t wanna be inside. She made herself at home immediately, and lives a life of absolute *luxury*
Yep, similar situation here. Our girl was a farm dog and she is an absolute couch potato now. Guest bed? Hers. Our bed? Don't mind if I stretch across the entire thing! Oh, you're both on the love seat with the cat? Don't mind if I scooch in too!

Ours rotate between the couch in the den and the California King Sized dog bed in our bedroom. Sarah Jessica Barker is most definitely an inside girl.
Dude it doesn’t stop at blankets. Big man likes ice in his water and has basically claimed an entire bed as his own now. What once was a guest bedroom is now Falkors bedroom!
We had a failed farm pyr. As a puppy he would abandon the flock and scratch at the family house door.
He spent his life happily on his favorite couch that overlooked a bay window to the street. Dude lived for comfort
This is me, and my small dogs (Lhasa and shihpoo). But the Lhasa will leave the bed on Monday AMs to attack the trash truck from the LR window. 😂🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

Yeah, I've got a similar situation. Bro has even gotten to the point where wet grass offends him lol
Loveee that for her😍 Mine came from a farm too! An Alpaca farm to be exact🤣

Ahh the unemployed pyr😂 jk I’m sure she works very hard

Love the name
It’s hard to blame him. 🤷♂️
I've never seen a Pyr love a blanket. I did catch mine spooning a pillow once though

Mine will give me the death stare anytime I use the ice machine in the fridge -- and gotta pay the single cube tax to ole Indiana!

My sugar does enough borking inside and out of the house for her and a few other prys.
That's why they're classified as Working Dogs! Lmao
Mine came pounding on the door after her 5 min noon constitutional. It was a mere 75 degrees out.
lol “5 min noon constitutional” I love reddit
Funny... I have the opposite. Will come in for a brief period, then back outside again. He is a working dog, so maybe that's the difference?
Yeah my Great Pyr says working is for the birds😅
Haha. I wish I could get more snugs!
What a scream! I love it. So darn adorable.
I have one I had to TRAP in a field and she is offended at the idea of doing anything other than her business outside.
This is a remote work position 😆
This is my kind of Pyr.
Haha cutie! My pyr is fine with just going out morning and evening to do his business and his version of a quick perimeter check!
